Bozo Jozepovic stands accused of committing war crimes in Bosnia, and if even some of the allegations against him are true, then he appears to be a nasty piece of work.
First allowed into Canada in 1997, granted full Canadian citizenship in 2004, it has since come to light that he allegedly lied to immigration officials about his history in a Bosnian Croat militia.
The 51-year-old lives near Hamilton with his wife and two daughters though it’s not clear how long he’ll continue to reside there since the Immigration Minister, Ahmed Hussen, has filed an action in Federal Court seeking to automatically revoke his Canadian citizenship.
Is Trudeau experiencing buyer’s remorse for his 2015 quote, “A Canadian is a Canadian is a Canadian”, uttered in defence of convicted terrorists?
To which he added:
“As soon as you make citizenship for some Canadians conditional on good behaviour, you devalue citizenship for everyone.”
Yet, while the Liberals seek to reintegrate returning ISIS fighters with poetry classes, they’re champing at the bit to strip Jozepovic of his citizenship and deport him ASAP.
I think our PM has some explaining to do regarding this apparent citizenship double standard.
