The Rise of the Alpha-Homo: European gay men as the Right's new heroes

James CampbellRebel Columnist

A major transformation of Europe is now in motion.

Our own Faith Goldy has pointed out the pitiful response of Europe’s men towards the recent epidemic of rape and sexual assault.

Of course, there are many men speaking out and fighting back, but often they are smothered by accusations of ‘racism’, ‘mansplaining’ and ‘white privilege’ or just ignored altogether.

Aside from strong women like Marine Le Pen and Ayaan Hirsi Ali, the most oppositional voices have come from Europe’s gay men.

A prime example of this is Breitbart editor and leader of the Twitteratti-glitterati, Milo Yianoppolous, who has been strongly outspoken regarding Europe’s current predicament.

On a recent appearance on the BBC’s Big Questions, he made straight men in the room look like damp rags and rightly deserved the right to tweet, "I am one of the very few alpha homosexuals."

It’s not just Milo, but other gay men like Douglas Murray and David Starkey, who are increasingly representing the masculine voice on British television.

The rise in gay men who are concerned about Europe’s future is not just limited to charismatic TV personalities. At the grassroots level too, there is a lot of evidence that Europe’s gay men are leading the way in opposition to Islamification.

A survey by the polling firm Ifop showed that in Paris, 26% of homosexual males supported the National Front, compared with just 16% of heterosexual males. Le Pen’s party now has nine gay ministers/advisors.

This isn’t surprising given some recent high profile attacks on gay men.

Europe used to be a safe haven for gay men fleeing Islamic countries. Six years ago, while in the UK, I dated the son of a radical Islamic Cleric who had fled to Scotland from Morocco. The last thing he wanted was Islam following him to Europe. Only now do I really understand what he was worried about.

Alpha-homos like Milo and others are absorbing all the hatred in public. The rest of us simply need to be consistent in the application of our outrage towards gay bashings, no matter the beliefs of the perpetrators and to oppose further migration from Islamic countries until the ones already here have had time to assimilate.

These "alpha-homos" remind me very much of Oscar Wilde. When a group of rugby boys arrived at Wilde’s dormitory to destroy his blue and white china, the 6' 3" Wilde picked up the first boy, threw him, and knocked them all down the stairs as if he was playing a game of skittles. Wilde then said, "Well boys, that’s enough of that game, if you want to I shall make you toast with anchovy butter and tell you stories." The rugby boys meekly went back up the stairs, sat and were enraptured by his tales.

We have a moral duty to protect 50 years’ worth of fighting to achieve gay rights.

Not only this, but we have a moral duty to maintain Europe as a safe haven for refugee gay men fleeing the least tolerant regions of the world.

Thanks for the info James.

Wilde’s wit and courage in the face of ignorance and vile contempt is worthy of mention in the current culture of Islamist and Progressive oppression and human rights violations.
The free and independent spirit is what social engineers of all stripes fear and dispise the most.

I think Dave Rubin deserves a mention in this context. He is a liberal who is willing to have sincere dialogue with people he disagrees with, and finds common cause on many fronts with conservatives. Some might describe him in terms of classical liberalism, where individual liberty and tolerance are key values. To others, the conservation of these characteristics place him beyond the pale of progressive ideology’s narrow sphere. His interviews are well worth watching: http://rubinreport.com/

The queers and the feminazis have the most to lose.

If men like men they get tossed off the roof.

If feminazis get caught and married off they will submit and provide sex – after a complete FGM – even if they do not want to – otherwise they will be beaten.

I wonder why they support islamics?

Perhaps they like that rough sex?

That was painful to watch. Social media, the internet, is not, never has been and never will be a safe place. The women in the striped shirt has it right, although she clearly did not appreciate Milo. The rest of them are living in a dream world. People like that black female journalist are very dangerous and scare me. What a bunch of unrealistic whiners. Except for the women in the striped shirt I was embarrassed for those women. It sure doesn’t look as though its easy being Milo. He must have a hide of rhino skin.

The liberated western world took countless generations to create.
Why is our generation so willingly pissing it away…for what?

Typical that the left’s solution to everything is to enact laws that take away fundamental freedoms such as freedom of speech so that they are not offended. Milo is awesome in this exchange but he is just one voice of reason in a bastion of leftists at the BBC.
