Alyssa Milano's pro-abortion sex strike has some inherent flaws

David MenziesMission Specialist

So actress Alyssa Milano has a big problem with Georgia’s new abortion law, which is apparently one of the most restrictive abortion laws in the U.S.

The Georgia legislation makes it illegal for a woman to have an abortion after a heartbeat has been detected in the womb — or about six weeks.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion on abortion and laws regarding abortion. It’s just that Milano’s grandiose idea to bring about legislative change is raising eyebrows.

Alyssa Milano has officially called on the women who reside in the Peach Tree State to go on a sex strike.

But aren’t there some inherent flaws to such a strategy?

Oh, and Lee Horsman, I’m in complete agreement with you… And let us pray that Milano does not procreate, ever again..

Ron Shea quoted, “Even Dr. Jordan Peterson commented some time ago claiming we still don’t know the negative effects both physical and mental of free sex on civilization.”
Dr. Peterson is wrong as we do know the negative effects of free sex on civilization; just look at the mess in India or on the African Continent. (They have free sex as they don’t seem to care how many children that they father.)

I also respect Religious men like Ron Shea and many more that comment here. I was taught in school by Religious men. However as I got older I realized that women had most of the chips in the reproduction game and I should sit back and listen, even though men have a financial interest through taxes or direct payments.

Great comments all….. Spring has arrived here in Southern Ontario, and the Birds and the Bees are doing their thing. Women are smiling more often than they normally would, which always happens in Springtime… Ah, Springtime… Just wanted to say that it is also National Caesar Day here in Canada. I saw it on the front page of the Toronto Sun while out shopping earlier. So I picked up what I needed, and the Ice Cubes are now ready. It’s time for a Caesar…

Strong families instil strong values. Strong values will minimize sexual promiscuity which in turn will minimize unwanted pregnancies. Its not that I don’t agree that people take no personal responsibility anymore, but birth control seems a better alternative to aborting babies, as far as I’m concerned. I’m just trying to be realistic here. In the case of rape or incest all bets are off. That kind of violation is a direct, vicious and unwanted attack and if women immediately seek treatment even before any pregnancy has been detected or may even be present then that should be their right.

I respect your Christian perspective Ron Shea, but in the case of rape or incest, a woman’s rights must be respected. Furthermore, banning EARLY term abortions would cause some women to harm or even kill themselves in desperation. Abortions will happen whether states or provinces ban them or not. However once there is heartbeat it is hard to pretend that it isn’t murder. Educating society regarding restrictions, having laws on the books, strengthening families and yes birth control, are what will actually have an effect on abortion numbers and that is what I am most focused on. Banning will not stop the murdering of babies.

I would also like Planned Parenthood taken to task. The body part market needs suppliers. The later term fetuses are more valuable. This practice is satanic.

We’ve gone a bit off topic here. The no holds barred abortion advocates should all take life long celibacy vows.

What birth control has done is to allow the last few generations of people in Western civilization to have sex without responsibility. It has resulted in broken nations, broken relationships and broken people. Abstinence is frowned upon and promiscuity cheered. Even Dr. Jordan Peterson commented some time ago claiming we still don’t know the negative effects both physical and mental of free sex on civilization.
I happen to know three people who are the result of rape. They happen to all be outstanding individuals. And they all despise their biological fathers and thank the integrity of their mothers for not aborting them.

According to the Old Testament, the penalty for rape including pedophilia was public execution using the death penalty (Deuteronomy 22:25). God explained through His Word that if people followed his commandments, that those crimes would cease to exist if the sentence was carried out publicly because justice would be done. Humans did a piss poor job of following God’s Word. Western history had a history where many governments mandated execution for rape. That seemed to stop in the last century when bleeding heart atheist leftists gained positions of political power and claimed it was morally repugnant and unjust to execute anyone they deemed wrong to execute and managed to convince people that execution for rape was wrong when in reality, it was the rape which was barbaric, evil and wrong.

The downfall of the northern kingdom of Israel is explained in 2 Kings 17. The breaking point was when the Israelites adopted the heathen practices of the Canaanites and performed Molechism; burning their children alive in the fire as sacrifices to the god Molech. They destroyed their posterity and God deemed them an unworthy and evil people and used the Assyrians to conquer their nation.

From the Christian perspective, every life is sacred, no matter how they are conceived because according to Jeremiah 1, God knew their soul before they were ever born into the flesh. From the atheist perspective, as best said by atheist ethicist Peter Singer, “A newborn baby has no more purpose than a rusty can, a rock or a chimpanzee.” Therefore, it is easy to see why so many non-believers support abortion.

My only view on abortion from my Christian perspective is that it is murder and all those who do abort or support abortion will one day in the future wish they were pro life because they will stand in front of a righteous God and give account of their lives. I wonder how bold they will be on that day? As Kirk once said to evil Spock in the episode, ‘Mirror, Mirror’, when Spock could not grasp that death, torture and destruction were wrong, Kirk told him “It is the illogic of waste Mr. Spock.”

The family unit, the resurrection and respect of the traditional (yes traditional) nuclear family, is what will save the lives of the unborn. Until then, I agree that birth control will go a long way to stopping the slaughter.
Milano and her groupies should abstain for ever and crawl back under their rocks.

“Any law that says rape and incest, or a child getting pregnant are no excuse for an abortion will be thrown out by the Supreme court in 10 minutes. I imagine a normal woman would feel that a snake was growing inside her under these circumstances.”

I agree Ron. There is no way I would find carrying through with a pregnancy under those circumstances acceptable, for myself or any daughter of mine.

An abortion free State is no different than a N.I.M.B.I. state. Desperate women will still have abortions, either in different States or in back rooms. Would it not make more sense to make it difficult enough so that it is NEVER used as a form of birth control for people who know better and to make anything but a very early term abortion unavailable?
Pregnant? Deal with it promptly. After that, live with it or consider adoption.
I whole heartedly support restrictions, but a full out ban on abortion is not only unrealistic, it disregards rape, incest and minors as valid victims, worthy of consideration under the law. Alabama is living in a dream world. I have no respect for that kind of iron fist.

I would also note that with the increase in the influx of those who do not reflect our culture or values, that more rapes and incest will be occurring as we have seen happening in Europe.
Banning all abortion is not the answer however anything but early term must be restricted, IMO.

Here is a sidebar to this story.
Georgia has 9 million people.
30% are Blacks
Approximately 47,000 Black babies are born each year.
75% of Black children do not have fathers
66% of legal abortions in Georgia are from Black women.
There are 33,000 registered abortions in Georgia
The state will be adding 16,377 Black fatherless children to the total with this law. This is not good, it would be better for both sides to have free birth control.

Any law that says rape and incest, or a child getting pregnant are no excuse for an abortion will be thrown out by the Supreme court in 10 minutes. I imagine a normal woman would feel that a snake was growing inside her under these circumstances.

Alabama has just passed a new abortion law banning abortions.
This state is now virtually abortion free.
Roe vs Wade will now be challenged.
Plus the Rhode Island proposed law has been defeated. Not the best yet as they are still proposing the New York law, but it shows they are starting to listen.
Other states are starting to place restrictions.
So this is hopeful.

Maurice Potvin….
The reason Muslims will take over our civilization isn’t because of our low birth rate, it is because our Government lets them into our Country without our approval.

This is also the reason Merkel, May, Macran and Trudeau have so little time left before they are banished from Politics.
commented 2019-05-15 22:42:41 -0400
You will notice that that Muslim birth rates aren’t slowing down, and they’re not getting abortions.

Abortion and the low birth rate in the west will inevitably lead to the downfall of western civilization, and its replacement by Islamic world domination. Along with that will be the imposition of Sharia law globally. As a Christian, I don’t fear that because I believe Jesus will return before that happens, but that’s definitely where the world is heading. .

David: the point here is that Alyssa’s proposal confirms that abstinence is what prevents abortions, not contraception.
Just say ‘no’.
So, thank you Alyssa for confirming what the pro-life cause has been saying all along.
She has aided the entire dialogue the same as Brian Sims has by defeating their own pro-abortion movement.

In my admittedly limited experience I think I would have to rate the women of Georgia second only to our own Canadian Newfoundlandresses as the horniest homo-sapiens on the face of God’s Green Earth.

Lotsa luck with your ‘strike,’ Alyssa. Really, have fun with that…

Right , Keith, and it is also the rationale for increased immigration because our population is not increasing on its own. So we bring in the death cult. Which will work. Just not for us. The population will boom and we will be dead if we do not convert.
commented 2019-05-15 18:21:17 -0400
Good for Georgia, it is about time someone stopped the Murder. For every child aborted there is one less family created. This is creating the potential death of the human race.
Trudeau and his new found friends need not worry though, they do not come under the same category.

This plays into the belief that women are the providers of sex and men are the consumers. Is that what leftards believe?

A similar threat was made in response to the emergence of MGTOW…..MGTOW is…in essence…. a marriage strike…. (in a larger sense, an avoidence of lawfare consequence for the crime of being heterosexual)….and here we are….;-)
