(WATCH) Andrew Scheer and Michelle Rempel: Motion to stop the UN global compact for migration

Rebel Staff

The Conservative Party of Canada Andrew Scheer sits down with MP Michelle Rempel to talk about the United Nations Global Compact for Migration.

"As Canada gets closer and closer to signing [the compact,] we need to really do everything we can to make sure that Canadians know what is about to happen."

Anyone coming in illegally should not be allowed in and be blacklisted from ever coming in as a refugee (or visitor for that matter as they may never leave).

I cannot post a link to any SUN articles here. I have been trying to post one of Candice Malcolm’s which reflects how most Canadians feel and one from Tarek Fatah written Dec. 4,, which advocates for signing onto the UN Global Migration Compact, an article titled, ‘FATAH: Sealing western prosperity in a Ziploc bag won’t work.’ which I hope to hell most Canadians do not subscribe to. Worth a read.

Coming up to 40,000 signatures. They are starting to come in fast and furious. Keep it up. Pass it on to someone who might not know.

Scheer says if he gets in next year he will pull us out of it. Sounds good. Looks good. Is it even possible at that point? Or is that a mute point too.

So, as promised, @AndrewScheer just presented a motion to removed Canada from the Global Compact for Migration. It was defeated by Trudeau and his Liberals.
Mute point. Too little too late, but at least now the media are talking about it more.

I still don’t have any confidence in Scheer.

I certainly agree with David Mackay’s (and his neighbor’s) criticisms of Scheer, I would like to add a weak characteristic that I see too often.
Scheer did criticize Trudeau in the Parliamentary Question Period regarding the UN Migration Pact and his performance was good. Then Trudeau stood up an said,“Mr Speaker, the Opposition Leader is reading too many conspiracy theories from The Rebel Media.”

That was enough to shut Scheer up, he had nothing left. I have seen this scenario many times; Scheer starts out well like a race horse leading the way, then he is finished, no second effort, the tank is empty.

Good to see Scheer may be finally jumping off the fence he’s sitting on and move back to traditional right/centre-right conservative principles instead of trying to appease the MSM by drifting towards Trudeau’s leftist narratives. Time will tell, but this is a good sign for CPC in election 2019. But he still needs to oppose the dogma of Trudeau’s MSM and confront them in the same way as Ford/O’Leary/Trump/Bernier. If he doesn’t take the gloves off, I see another Trudeau majority.

Did Scheer just wake up? We have known about this for a couple of months, even Bernier talked about Conservative inaction in this area this past summer, and now Trudeau is signing it next week and now Scheer is going to object?? When there is no time to even organize protests?

Trudeau has made it clear since the get go he wants to open Canada’s borders to Muslim Migrants since before he was elected.
A desire to turn Canada into the same mess as the EU.
So the UN signing is in one week and Scheer is getting on it now?
Oh I get it Scheer finally inquired and discovered the UN’s Open Border immigrants get to vote for liberals immediately.

It’s bad enough the Conservatives have a National media that ignores or slow walks anything the Conservatives say or do
While Andrew Scheer boldly ignores Canada’s last Conservative News voice -
Scheer’s message here is sounding a day late and a dollar short – only for Canada fatally so.

My liberal neighbor says he likes Scheer, that he sees Scheer as “Trudeau Lite”
