Andrew Scheer's Conservatives indecisive on moving embassy to Jerusalem

Ezra LevantRebel Commander

On Friday's show, I reported on the Canadian response to President Trump's decision to move the American embassy in Israel to Jerusalem and recognize the city as Israel's capital.

Trudeau's Liberals were adamantly opposed to Trump's move, but that's not a surprise considering their Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Omar Alghabra, supports Hamas and was the head of the Canadian Arab Federation

But what about the Conservatives?

Under the leadership of Conservative Prime Minister Stephen Harper, Canada was probably the most pro-Israel country in the world. I believe that Andrew Scheer supports Israel, but so far he's not doing much to prove it.

WATCH my video to hear the weak non-decision Conservative Foreign Affairs critic, Erin O'Toole, provided on whether the Tories would support Canada following The Donald's lead.

If you agree with President Trump and think Canada should move it's embassy visit MoveTheEmbassy.ca — and we’ll deliver the petition to Scheer's office before Christmas.

Pay attention to Europe . . . that is Canada’s future playing out before our eyes.

Alexander Fraser Tytler – (1747 – 1813) – Professor of Universal History, and Greek and Roman Antiquities – University of Edinburgh

“A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits from the public treasury with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy, always followed by a dictatorship. The average age of the world’s greatest civilizations has been 200 years. Great nations rise and fall. The people go from bondage to spiritual truth, to great courage, from courage to liberty, from liberty to abundance, from abundance to selfishness, from selfishness to complacency, from complacency to apathy, from apathy to dependence, from dependence back again to bondage”.

That’s too generous Tammie, it is out and out misrepresentation. I think its called lying, and that’s all Jay Kelly does. He is taqiyya apologist king/queen/it. I would like to give him some credit by imagining he was dropped on his head at birth, or she has lost too many brain cells by over consumption of drink over many decades, but i think It is just a liar. Subterfuge Kelly spewing nonsense everywhere He/She/It goes. Common sense makes no sense to her. If It were smart It would stop embarrassing himself with such inane comments.

Jay Kelly, intentional misunderstanding of reports is your problem!

The Rebel tries to distinguish between anti-Jewish sentiment and anti-Muslim sentiment. It fails badly.

By promoting hatred of Muslims it promotes hatred of Jews.

And then it wonders why readers are so anti-Semitic.

Well, the Libs took Surrey. Guess the solution to voters moving to the Liberals is to become more conservative,
-—————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————

When did this happen, Andrew?
More misunderstanding of cause and effect.
People, when given the choice between the genuine article and a close copy at the same price will almost always choose the original. So to put it in more exact terms. The libs are the real socialists. The conservatives are the close copy. The price is the same- one vote. So they bought the Liberal originals instead of the close copy cons.

I agree, sincerity plays a part in it, though I disagree that it’s the only consideration. People who would vote for a sincere leftist probably aren’t ever going to vote for a sincere rightist, .and they’re probably rejecting Scheer not because of insincerity, but because of his right of centre politics.

Examine it in the context of say electoral reform (though weed also works). Let’s say I voted for Trudeau because of his electoral reform. He failed to follow through – so what do I do? Vote for the conservatives who are adamant about maintaining status quo? If my goal is electoral reform, how does that help anything? No, to get my vote on that issue, the CPC needs to advocate for reform. And, yes, they need to be sincere about it, however sincerity is necessary but not sufficient to garner it.

Pat Condell’s closing comments on the topic are worth drawing attention to.

The Palestinian Lie- Pat Condell

We need to do the Arabs a huge favour and tell them the truth they so badly need to hear, that their hatred is the cause of their misery.
They have become prisoners of it. It has come to define their very identity.

And until they can find a way to remove this ugly stain from their hearts, they’ll always be chained to it and they they and their children will never be free, Arab spring or no Arab spring.”

This is what Trump did. He did them this favour by starting the Palestinians down this road to peace but only if they want peace.

The problem is that they cannot find a way to remove this ugly satin frothier hearts. They are sinners like the rest of us. Only God’s Spirit can change hearts.

Ephesians 2: 8-14

8 For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; 9 not as a result of works, so that no one may boast. 10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.

11 Therefore remember that formerly you, the Gentiles in the flesh, who are called “Uncircumcision” by the so-called “Circumcision,” which is performed in the flesh by human hands— 12 remember that you were at that time separate from Christ, excluded from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers to the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world. 13 But now in Christ Jesus you who formerly were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ. 14 For He Himself is our peace, who made both groups into one and broke down the barrier of the dividing wall…

As a result of which I wish all, Arabs, Jews and Christian and Buddhists and Hindus and Atheists and.. a Merry Christmas

It’s so funny how many of you were praising Scheer and even admitted voting for him and now you are unhappy. I guess he suckered you all.

Seriously – why didn’t you vote for Leach?
-—————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————

Trost was my first choice with Leitch second. The goofy voting system was, in my opinion, put in place by the party elites to effect the outcome they wanted. And they got him. Not all bad and quite possibly some conservative leanings but out with them, damn it!

Moose, the NDP tore health care apart in Manitoba. The PCs were left with the wreckage to hold. You need to learn the difference between case and effect.

You people can’t honestly be surprised that the federal conservative party is staffed by a bunch of cowards.

Who does Canada left as a conservative voice? Brad Wall is leaving. Brian Pallister is busy healing from a broken arm whilst simultaneously preoccupied tearing the Manitoba health care apart.

We are doomed for another liberal win.

Andrew Stephenson legitimate criticism is not a hate crime you halfwit. And the FALSE positives are not coming from us, if hate crimes are so bad , why the need to make them up? And did you miss the protest in Vancouver? I bet you will not call that a hate crime, but if it were Christians doing the same with a Muslim countries flag , you would.

Frank Hohimer many here criticized him you halfwit. Now go vote for the stammering buffoon Jusitn, as if he is something to be proud of LMAO!

Scheer has to stop trying to look like a Lib, he needs to figure out that libs will not vote for him. Now he is starting to lose seats like Surrey White Rock to Justin, give me a break. This is starting to look like the Conservatives in Ontario who have wrecked the province by electing leaders that are not electable and letting the Libs slip into office.

The NDP leader is about as goofy as Trudeau and living the cool media hype so Scheer cant count on him doing anything significant for the NDP that will help the Conservatives.

‘The Great Palestinian Lie’
Pat Condell

The statement Trump has made by returning the American Embassy to Jerusalem, the capitol of Israel is one of support for Israel as well as a push back against those who bully and threaten. That’s why the Embassy was moved to Tel Aviv in the first place, because it was too dangerous in Jerusalem. That move of course was seen as weakness. A retreat, and a win for ‘Palestine’. Of course they will scream because this move back, will be viewed as a show of strength, an attack even. There is only one way to deal with a bully and Trump knows it. That’s why he did it.
As Pat Condell rightly says, “They don’t want peace. they want victory”

“But carry on apologist. We recognise taqiyya when we see it.”

Indeed. I bet you’re so good at seeing it that most of your sightings are false positives. If it achieves what’s allready codified, then what is the actual objection? That leaves you with the similarly vaguely defined “virtue signaling”, which is not much of substance. In fact, if it’s so vaguely defined, it’s basically unenforceable anyway.

Andrew, M-103 is a motion, not law yet. It is the pre-cursor to legislation. Surely you can understand that when the government sets out to “quell” citizens, it’s a sign these same citizens are living under a totalitarian regime.
Anyway Andrew, you must have missed the journalist in Germany who posted a real historical photo of high ranking Nazis and Islamists during the second World War, and was arrested for posting undoctored proof of the collaboration. "

Ah, the slippery slope argument. Where would we be without that? These laws are acting to protect and expand individual rights, which is quite the opposite of the Nazis you invoke. (No, you never actually had the right to discriminate against Muslims).

I don’t see how quelling hate crimes is anywhere close to the same thing as what the Nazis did.

Jan G. No one is paying attention anyway, to the subject which was supposed to be Scheer.
So far Frank Hohimer has had 16 posts, while Andrew Stevenson has had 6 triple length posts. They are doing their job well, which is to get the Rebels off subject.
I remember a month ago, the subject was Trudeau’s Foundation Fund, and the two trolls changed the subject to “Slavery in Canada”, where the Rebels must have posted 4 pages about a problem that never existed in Canada. Frank and Andrew must have laughed themselves to sleep that night.

Jan G. I know all of what you said is true. Craig Oliver used to go canoeing with Pierre Trudeau.
This is the reason I posted Oliver giving Conservatives good advise, which is fire Scheer if he loses the Surrey bi-election today.
Even a Liberal envisions a no-contest, Sheer vs Trudeau.

Space Moose,

Jay Fayza left The Rebel because he felt that Ezra is in the business of fear mongering or in other words – fake news with a fear mongering element added to it and he couldn’t be a part of that anymore.
