Notley calls Alberta conservatives “sexist” at Unifor convention

Sheila Gunn ReidRebel Host | The Gunn Show

In remarks made at the Unifor convention in Ottawa on Wednesday, Rachel Notley touted her “progressive” gender parity cabinet claiming that the idea of women in government leadership is a “new notion” in Alberta.

A new notion? Maybe women in political leadership is a new thing for the left, but not for the right.

We were electing women to the halls of power when the left was still wearing bell bottoms and burning their bras.

Conservatives have been electing women to lead for so long, no one even notices anymore.

That’s the way it should be.

Watch my video to see the strong history of conservative women in leadership roles in Alberta.

If Rachel Notley wants to hand out a lecture about sexism, she needs to turn around and face her own progressive movement.

And Peter Lougheed put an end to the insanity of Eugenics. God bless him for that and for being the best Premier AB ever had. He was a true leader, with spirit, and he wanted the best for AB. Ralph was the next best. I loved that he was a friend to AB, and he never lied to the people. He was a straight shooter. We need another leader like one of these gentlemen. A leader for the people, not these snakes pretending to be leaders for their own gain, and to control others due to their psychopathic natures.

My lengthy post below in sum is that women have always been part of Alberta politics…but the early leftist females betrayed the human race by instituting Eugenics in Government for MANY generations until numerous lawsuits and the conservatives brought back sanity. Leftists use fake science all the time to bring in anti-human legislation. Under the pretense of increasing human rights they DISMANTLE human rights in a systematic way that erodes the very qualities that are the foundation of human rights: INDEPENDENCE AND LIBERTY. Socialist nationals eventually live daily in FEAR AND NEED (dependence) of their governments and yet that is what socialism does in the end: create plantations full of slaves…you. Females in government give no assurance of good government. We do, however, need more conservative women than ever in government because conservative women understand good governance far better than leftist females, for they understand the need of people for mental and physical independence and liberty…which, like exercise, makes a people strong.

While three of the “Famous Five”…who were all women were politically left, they were very active in Albertan politics in the early 20th century…however

Notley should not be too proud of these leftist when one considers their disgusting history. for example: “Like others of the famous five, however, Parlby was an advocate for the eugenics movement in Alberta including the sexual sterilization of the mentally infirm.”

Yes these are the ROOTS OF THE NDP in Alberta…eugenics advocates…perhaps someone needs to remind Notley of her political history in Alberta.

In 1928, the Alberta government (Alberta, Canada) passed eugenics legislation that enabled the involuntary sterilization of individuals classified as mentally deficient (now known as persons with a developmental disability or mental disorder). To implement the Sexual Sterilization Act of Alberta, a four-member Alberta Eugenics Board was created to recommend individuals for sterilization. In 1972, the Act was repealed and the Board dismantled. During its 43 years in operation, the Board approved nearly 5,000 cases and 2,832 sterilizations were performed. The actions of the Board came under public scrutiny in 1995 with Leilani Muir’s successful lawsuit against the Alberta government for wrongful sterilization.

It took Conservatives to end this travesty! No wonder the left always destroys itself in the end…they have no moral basis for their ideas.

The Progressive Conservative party led by Peter Lougheed came to power in 1971 and, a year later, passed the Alberta Bill of Rights. Shortly after, the new provincial government revoked the Sexual Sterilization Act and folded the Alberta Eugenics Board,50 citing three reasons: Primarily, the Act violated fundamental human rights. It was based on medical and genetics theories which are now of questionable scientific validity. It was full of legal ambiguities, most notably in the section exempting surgeons from civil liability.

In the mid-1990s, Leilani Muir, a victim of involuntary sterilization in 1959, sued the Alberta government for wrongful sterilization.51 The case went to full trial in 1995, Muir won the case in 1996, and she was awarded nearly C$1 million in damages and legal costs.52 Since Muir’s precedent-setting trial, over 850 victims have filed lawsuits against the Alberta government; the majority of these have been settled out of court and C$142 million in damages have been awarded.

Since eugenics was considered a scientifically proven idea, perhaps we should not be so quick to adopt science’s supposed truths…we now have global warming as well…how many decades before we discover our great losses due to this other fraud of science falsely so-called. Science is far too often regarded as justification for “scientific religiousity”…belief in science…with priests, high priests and faithful followers…

Wait until Canada becomes an Islamist super-state: no you will have to worry about sexism then. No one will have to worry about being sexist because it will be perfectly normal to be sexist. Women will learn and know their place: below that of men. They will get to walk behind man, be silent around them, and never, ever be disobedient before one. Of course, you have to learn your place living under rules like that, unless you want to be beaten, caned, stoned, beheaded, burned alive…

I agree wholeheartedly that Alberta has NEVER been sexist with regards to electing women. In fact, the VERY first woman elected to office in the entire British Empire was here in Alberta. Louise McKinney was elected as an MLA in 1917.

Isn’t that sick, KEN HANSON. Nice how they shake down the members and the results are:

Imam Justin Trudope the Younger

K. Wynne the Despicable

R. “Nothead” Notley the Destroyer

All installed despots with monumental support from crooked unions

When they are banished to the political wilderness the worst thing that can happen will… Rachel Notley and most of her cabinet will go back to teaching positions indoctrinating the minds of our children about the values and the benefits of socialist government..
As a clear and present danger to our youth that they are there should be some way of removing them from positions of responsibility within various levels of education.
All of the superintendents of education throughout this province should be subjected to elected positions thus bending the education system back to the interests of mom and dad and the citizens of this province.

We will reclaim our country province by province and then elect the federal government that will write laws to make insure things that happened with the Liberal government under Justin Trudeau’s watch will never happen again.

Like I said…this is the kiss of death on her political career….the only places that have retained feminists after they spit spray on men collectively are the ones with proportional representation and more than 200 seats.

Although I have never lived in Alberta I have a lot if empathy for it. I have come to the conclusion that Notley and her gang are evil. But not just evil, profoundly stupid as well. It is heartbreaking to see the destruction these people are doing. 2 1/2 years to go folks. Hang in there.

LEVITICUS 2013: I guess time will tell, we are all for the demise of the dippers. HAVE YOU BEEN IN TOUCH WITH RON VOSS??? If you are a card carrier of the ( its Wildrose, btw) party you should at least check out his policy proposals. Thx

You must be picking a fight with everybody at the site defending the NDP Rachel Notley and her carbon tax policies..
Or surely you jest and this is just a satirical moment.!!

As much as I detested Allison Redford and her pig-at-the-trough style of government, Rachel Notley still stands out as the second best female premier Alberta ever had.

If Kenny wants to help things out he can cross the floor and work for Brian.. nothing good will come of the PC government taking advantage of the partisan aspects of the Wild Rose party

JAMES SCOTT: Are you in Alberta? Are you a Wildrose member? I think you are here by your posts. GET IN TOUCH WITH RON VOSS IMMEDIATELY, if so . He has a couple of amendments for Wildrose policy that must be submitted by AUG 29th. One of these amendments deals directly with energy policy and carbon taxes and is IMPORTANT to get this in on time, I think it suits your views perfectly.

LEVITICUS 2013: AS I and LISA ROSIE posted yesterday, and NDP SUCKS has stated on his post here, the slime would be purged from the PCs if a merger of some sort takes place. I think Kenney and Jean will be able to sort things out from there. They know who the undesirables are, and the result will be a true CONSERVATIVE party devoid of the Jansens, Lukasics and Gills. RESULT: A landslide win by the WILDROSE ( I hope they keep the name) and relegation of the NDP to the dust pan.Let us try to accomplish this guys, otherwise there may very well be no future.

Peter Nettervillel… The progressive conservative government exists at two levels one is provincial and one is federal… As a result when the progressive conservative government exists at both levels at the same time cannot be good and has not been good for our province… Better than what we have now obviously but when the same party is butting heads at the provincial and federal level too many favors are owed and reelections and favors to the party or other party members become more important than the priorities of the province the people or the country. the progressive conservative party in Alberta must die a natural death and become reborn the NDP party must be pushed out of existence and the Wild Rose is the only viable alternative as a partisan party dedicated to this province that we have at this point..

The people on this website that say that the PCs must die out before the right can be united are living in a dream world.

I don’t like the PCs, but they will never die out as a party. Live with it. It is reality.

If you want to make constructive based in reality comments on how to get the right wing in Alberta back to being true conservative, then suggest methods that Kenny can weed out the red crap from the party and then merge the remaining blue conservatives with the Wildrose, because wishing away the PC party is a fantasy, and conservative minded people do not live in a fantasy world like the left wing socialists do!

Over the years as an MRA and anti-feminist I have noticed a pattern in the careers of feminists in Canadian politics…..the only notable exception to this pattern has been Heady-up-her-Assy Fry. She is the only exception to the rule that getting the status of women portfolio is the kiss of death on a political career.

No feminist…male or female…campaigns for election on a feminist ticket. So naieve gullible voters elect them. Once it becomes evident that they harbour a grudge against men they just don’t stay elected and those that manage to remain in politics it is because of crony appointments.

Nutley is gone. Two years eight months and counting. And it won’t take uniting the right to do it. All it will take is someone with the sensibility to extinguish Carbon tax and every thing connected to Carbon taxation, levies or fees or grants or……..

The cultural marxists (aka socialists) love to wreck societies to create their own pig slop mess until….wait for it…. they run out of other people’s money.

Oil prices have been held higher by central banks ($25T held by central banks), but with production continuing at high rates, they are running out of places to put the oil.

When oil dies, Alberta dies as does Notley.

We cannot unite the right. The PCs have to die a natural death and then rebuild and the NDP’s must be pushed into oblivion to never resurface in this province again.

To unite the right would just water down the wild rose party which would serve nobody’s benefit but the liberalist progressive conservative members which would ultimately infect the wild rose party:

Kenney and Jean are aware of the realities as I have been monitoring this particular subject on facebook. The PC’s will not die but when Kenney wins the leadership job the progressives need to be forced out. Jansen and Lukaszuk have already said they were interested in opposing Kenney for the job. These two are at or near the top of the progressive list of people that need to be forced out. The other obvious reject is Gill.

The PC’s and Wildrose must merge to ensure a strong majority and put a stake in the heart of the NDP. Vote splitting again is not a viable option but the Wildrose is gaining in support and financial donations. Forcing out the progressives is not going to be easy but we need to wait until Kenney wins the PC leadership job and see how this issue progresses. Kenney and Jean are in agreement to merger talks and both will turn to the grassroots members for approval. IMO there is no choice. The right must unite and sort out any internal policy fighting after the merger.
