Barbara Kay: Quebec shows CPC how to take on “insidious” UN Compact on Migration

Ezra LevantRebel Commander

On last night's episode of The Ezra Levant Show, National Post columnist Barbara Kay joined me to discuss Quebec’s new Minister for the Status of Women, who recently called the Muslim hijab a symbol of the oppression of women.

Previously, I discussed how the Coalition Avenir Quebec Party’s willingness to stand up for and speak about Canadian values was vital to leader Francois Legault’s victory.

The issues of mass migration without vetting for cultural fit, and the hijab, are linked.

Watch as Barbara and I discuss what the Conservative Party of Canada and leader Andrew Scheer can learn from Quebec on this issue, and what’s at stake if they don’t.

God,
I’ve attended LLTT 2 events she spoke at Liza.
I know where SHE stands but pro-life people also don’t speak for entire party morale.

I don’t like the way Islamic leaders, lawyers, politicians and liberal apologists manage to stretch the definitions of our laws to accommodate Islam. Clearly many of our laws must be too vague for them to keep having so much success at it. Islam abuses Canadian law and gets away with what no one else does under our definitions of ‘religious freedom’. Canada is a push over. That’s why Islam ‘loves’ us so much.
commented 2019-02-13 19:35:55 -0500
Until Islam drops the political part(which is impossible) I do not want them to have the same religious benefits as other religions do in Canada……for the express reason that they are nothing like other religions. Political Islam has a religious element but its political agenda should exclude it from any Canadian umbrella as far as I’m concerned. But I can’t make our government play by the rules. Then again I suppose the definition of ‘religion’ has never been exactly qualified?

I think Laura Lynn Tyler Thompson is more open to accepting Islam as a religion and ignoring the political part than I am. I have never heard her say anything against it as a religion. I, however have no problem NOT accepting political Islam or sharing that opinion,. as you may have noticed.
commented 2019-02-13 19:11:12 -0500
Did SHE mention whether she thought religious freedom was for everyone, or only for non-Muslims?

Better to be ignorant isn’t it because the truth doesn’t get in the way of your narrative.. now you’re going to accuse me of insulting you and maybe I will because you’re just too lazy to watch the video.. so there you are I insulted you again calling you lazy. I bet you’re Muslim ancestors are proud keeping their narrative of conquer and dominate through any means necessary.!! But whenever I feel blue I just think about you proclaiming to the world that you have a 120 IQ..!! Damn that’s funny.. Andrew the psychotic woman that posts as a man with a fake PhD and you with a shiny IQ… Damn that puts me to shame because all I studied for 22 years was nuclear medicine after leaving a career in a very successful one as a thermal fusion engineer.. see girls that is why online credentials don’t mean shit. and at this time neither does your liberal centred flip-flopping opinions. Now gfys..😎⚡️

Mark was trying to be nice… and you respond in the same arrogance you treat me with and then you bitch piss and moan that you don’t like being insulted or told you’re off your meds but you feel free to talk down to anybody… You are doing your part to polarize the country, keep it up I can’t wait for the reset.!
commented 2019-02-13 00:52:10 -0500
Karen do us and yourself a favour and watch Laura Lynn on the debate and you’ll see exactly where the entire party stands.. but don’t take the shortcut watch the full length. If you don’t like Bernier and he doesn’t support your position then don’t vote for him but don’t stand with your hands on your hips making false statements about him either of you.. that Fruitloop Andrew and the other who is a woman and a wannabe socialist..

“He has no policy in place for climate action.”
That’s the policy.
The rest of your comment is supposition. "That could include " is not an argument.
Gender fluidity doesn’t need any special treatment or consideration. Nor do Muslims or any other special interest group. Max is the only one who does NOT shut down conversation about abortion.
Stop grasping at straws and ambulance chasing. There has been no accident. At least wait until you smell blood.
Be more self aware.

Mark Chadwick,
Thank you for your concern.
commented 2019-02-13 00:12:00 -0500
Liza,
Bernier also would do nothing for or against abortion or gender fluidity either.
He has no policy in place for climate action. That could include for natural disasters.
Be self critical.

My heavens, you have convinced me Andrew. I don’t know what I was thinking. I have seen the light! Thank you so much for setting me straight.
Just kidding. Vote splitting in this election especially is a myth.

Bullshit Karen. Bernier is never vague,”

Ask him if he supports religious freedom for everyone, including Muslims. The last time he did it he avoided it entirely by telling off the reporter for asking.

“Vote splitting is a myth. A lie the two main parties continue to tell. "

Ask Notley about that one.

Hell, Harper’s majority in 2011 was because the Left was badly split, and Doug Ford wouldn’t have won had the left been unified either.

Coming into the next election there are a lot of suburban ridings in the GTA, GVRD, Montreal, and Winnipeg, that are too close to call. With the NDP and Bloc gone the Liberals are stronger than they would otherwise be, the CPC needs every vote they can get.

“Interesting though that Quebec kicked out their liberal provincial government however are all set to keep mohammad and his islamic nazi regime in”

perhaps they didn’t vote for the CAQ for their attitude towards immigrants, but rather because they were tired of austerity (CAQ promised a more traditional Quebec Borrow-and-spend agenda), or perhaps as in Ontario (where the Libs gained ten percent at the polls the day after Wynne stepped down), they were just sick of Couillard himself.

Bernier is never vague… If he was vague the media would’ve eaten him alive over any of his policies and as of yet they’ve even been unable to criticize him at all. They’re going to make it twice or three times as hard for him then the other two favourites.

Go Max.
commented 2019-02-12 20:18:13 -0500
Bullshit Karen. Bernier is never vague, never on the fence, and drives in the ‘right’ lane. Scheer still hasn’t picked one.

Scheer has no choice but to pick up the pace a bit, he finally knows he can’t just wait it out and let Rempel and the others do all the hard hauling. The man lost me the minute he got in when he went back on the Paris accord. I do not trust him to do what needs to be done on this carbon dioxide nonsense, our immigration and border problems or the UN. Migration pact. I have had all the disappointment I can stand. I won’t be fooled again. I am voting for the man I trust to speak the truth about the dire problems we are facing. From whatever level of government that can be managed. At this point I am just done with the cpc.

Karen please watch the debate in Burnaby South Max supports every thing that the PPC candidate says . I asked them what the view on pot was and they said Max felt it was a done deal and wasn’t going to change the legality of pot . The PPC candidate says a lot more than the 3 other talking heads . So please be a informed voter , Canada can’t afford nice hair voters anymore .

Liza,
Scheer and The Rebel need to answer to Canadians and lawful immigrants alike.
Who owns who when speaking of freedoms?
;;-;-;-;-;-;-;-;-;-;-;-;-;-;-;-;-;-;-;-;-;
Karen.. do you even read what you post before you carry-on.?! Scheer is not embroiled in a scandal and why would you lump him together with the rebel implying there may be a connection. Neither one of them owes anybody anything except possibly of sheer but maybe he’ll some “splaining” to do if his critics believe that he was incompetent in the prosecution of this inquiry with Lavalin , and why does the rebel need to answer to Canadians and lawful immigrants about anything.?? The strangest blended associations makes up the bulk of your statements..
Sometimes I think you were choked at birth.!!

That would be just hilarious if this backfired on Justin and all of his pothead supporters didn’t care anymore and joined the ranks of the non-voters… LMAO
Good post Mark.

Liza Rosie,
He is taking a stand. He answers some questions as vaguely as Bernier does.
Compare & Contrast.
commented 2019-02-12 18:44:34 -0500
This is all BS about vote splitting . Listen to what the parties are saying and pick the one that will restore Canada to a proud country again . Watch the debate from Burnaby south . Listen what is said and who said what . There is one that stands way above the crowd . Please don’t vote Liberal or PC or what ever because I always vote for them . Use your brain and make the right vote for the right reason . All you pot heads realize pot is here to stay regardless who you vote for now .

Scheer isn’t answering anything, he won’t come on. His MP’s ban people who ask hard questions, from twitter. I don’t know who they listen to.

That it is even a discussion whether or not we should allow masked women in government positions is outrageous to me. If the many different coverings were not so political and culturally unacceptable in western society I would have no problem with just a head scarf type hijab. But it is not just a head scarf to keep your hair from the wind or the rain off your head. How does a covered woman ever fit into Canadian society? They don’t, how could they, they are cut off from it. Not to mention that Allah forbids mingling with the kafir and infidel. Head coverings are a symbol. Its a message. Not a friendly one to either the Muslim or the non Muslim woman.
commented 2019-02-12 14:53:54 -0500
If Islam is a threat to woman who take off their hijab, niqab, or burqa, what in God’s name does that say about the religion of ‘peace’? I’ll tell ya. Its not peaceful.

The only way to protect these women( and since they are on our soil, we have a responsibility to protect them and also to not allow Islam to set their precedent) …is to implement a ban. Full stop. If you want to oppress your women like that, take her back to any number of Islamic countries, take your pick. Last time I checked Canada was not one, and God willing there are still enough Canadian’s who have enough self respect and respect for what their great nation stands for, to keep it from becoming anything else. Canada first. Canadian values first. We don’t threaten to kill women who just want to live like other Canadians. If you can’t accept Canada don’t live here.
commented 2019-02-12 14:36:30 -0500
Scheer needs to come on the Rebel and speak for himself. Rempel needs to stop banning people who ask hard questions.
