Barbara Kay: Cultural appropriation outrage is “nonsense”

Ezra LevantRebel Commander

On Monday's show I interviewed columnist Barbara Kay, whose son Jonathan was forced to "resign" as editor of the obscure Walrus magazine.

Jonathan Kay attracted outrage from SJWs when he wrote in the National Post:

"Cultural appropriation should be debated. Too bad Canada's Writers Union instead chose to debase itself"

WATCH my video to see our thoughts on the left losing their sense of humor, and positive example of "Cultural Appropriation"

The Piute “seer” Wovoka was raised as an orphan by an evangelical preacher and culturally appropriated “rapture” and “ressurection” in his “Ghost Dance” movement.

I own an authentic peace pipe made from the original Pipestone Quarry in Minnesota…..come let us put this non-sense in the pipe and smoke it….such things are just smoke in the wind and no grounds for conflict…especially the ones where the hatchet was burried long ago.

It’s much worse than “nonsense” Barb, it’s culturally genocidal diseased thinking.

Liza Rosie, that is so true.
The term “cultural appropriation” should be given the burial it deserves.

I suspect this will translate for the writers whose career course has been drastically and suddenly halted. We will see books and articles and job offers for those people also. Free speech has got to win. Segregating us all into separate boxes will not end well. We must be able to speak and write and paint about the world around us, unfettered.

I tell ya, Amanda PL has just hit pay dirt because of this. It’s the best thing to happen to her career. Her name is mentioned in the same breath with Norval Morrisseau, “The Picasso of the North”. It doesn’t get any better than this. Every young artist’s dream. Amanda PL owes these radical snowflakes a big thank you!
