British Columbians are just seven weeks away from heading to the polls. For conservatives and free-enterprise loving BC’ers, that leaves us with two choices: Stick with the BC Liberals, or go with the maligned and leaderless BC Conservative Party?
It seems to come down to this every election. Do we vote BC Conservative and risk splitting the vote and allowing the NDP to be elected, or stick with the safe bet of Christy Clark and the BC Liberals.
It's a question that even splits federal Conservatives in the province.
But what if I told you I believe the BC Conservative Party, in addition to all of the bizarre things they’ve been through, has been hijacked by New Democrats who may just be trying to split the vote to ensure the NDP see victory on May 9th?
Watch as I explain what has me concerned.
The currently leaderless BC Conservatives have a spokesperson who has made several comments that really don’t sound like the comments of a true conservative, but rather, like an NDP operative.
Perhaps an opportunist who is attempting to recreate the formula that won the NDP the only three elections in the province’s history?
The NDP know, the only way they can win is to split the vote.
