Wonder Woman is “a great Christ-like figure”

Ben DaviesRebel Host | Rebel Reel Reviews

When I say that last year's Wonder Woman movie is a great feminist film, don't get the wrong idea.

The filmmakers didn't listen to any of the politically correct criticism that went around while it was still in production, complaints about everything from "fat shaming" to the character's lack of armpit hair!

We hear a lot about "strong female characters," but as portrayed in this movie, Wonder Woman, besides being strong and powerful, is also loving, feminine and compassionate.

The character's romance with a mortal man is based on mutual respect and even chivalry. The whole film celebrates "old fashioned" values.

I just hope that the forthcoming instalment in the Justice League franchise continues in this vein. If you haven't seen Wonder Woman, I highly recommend it.

If SJWs hate it then it must be worthwhile. To me Linda Carter will always be Wonder Woman to me (though she’s in her sixties at this point so the torch must, obviously, be passed on).

Great commentary Ben!
Gadot did a fantastic job bringing Wonder Woman to the big screen.
