Bernard the Roughneck goes to Ottawa!

Christopher WilsonRebel Commentator

Canada’s favourite roughneck is in Ottawa this week to present a petition with over 34,000 signatures and remind politicians about the importance of the oil and gas industry to our entire economy.

Bernard teamed up with Mark Scholz of the Canadian Association of Oilwell Drilling Contractors and David Lefave of the Quebec Oil and Gas Association, who were joined by Conservative MP Shannon Stubbs to deliver the petition of Canadians coast to coast urging the Liberal government to do more to support our oil and gas industry.

Watch as Bernard delivers another strong message to our government on behalf of hard working Canadians every where.

Another demonstration of your amazing grasp of the obvious, Jay. They already told who he is standing with. Bernard is a unique name that has become almost a trade mark because he is so well known. That’s all he needs. Kinds like when you lefties go all gaga over “Justin”. Now there is a prop. Butts is doing all the real work while “Justin” is just a not so pretty face.

His $40K education is paying off for the many people he is representing and speaking for.
God Bless you Bernard.

Bernard the Roughneck looks pretty cool with his long hair and overalls. He is pictured with Mark Scholz, David Lefave, and Conservative MP Shannon Stubbs. Nice photo.

Sadly, Bernard is the only one without a last name, because he is a prop in a photo.

Bernard for PM!

We need something Drew…!!! I’m sick and tired of leaders though. I want an elected representative to serve the will of the people

Trudeau is in a tight spot. He supports oil and gas development, and has gone public in supporting the Energy East pipeline as well as the pipelines to the Pacific and even the pipeline into the States.

He is being roundly roasted for not being “environmentally-friendly” enough.

Rebel readers have also attacked him for being like-warm when it comes to defending our economy.

We need a strong leader to navigate all this.

Bernard probably will pursue politics… And I hope he heads up the separation party.

Bernard is a good with his words. He would make a good Politician if he were not so honest.

Good job Bernard!! Thnx for taking our petition forward!
What all the Libtards fail to comprehend – is that it is Bernard and all the rest of us in that same predicament -now out of steady employment – that pay the lions share of taxes. Most would faint to see our pay stubs and the amounts taken (stolen) from us and freely given to all those welfare immigrants and the useless eaters of Ottawa & Edmonton!
I wonder if the mere thought of who is really going to be affording fancy solar panels & ridiculous wind generated & highly subsidized electricity that these tyrannical politicians are investing OUR $$ in – when the customer base falls to the elites only – ever crosses these lunatics’ minds???
We need to put these lunatics back into the asylum and out of our governing bodies. They are all on the Jim Jones juice – and expect the rest of us to drink it with them.

Ruth……I stand corrected. I should have known better.

Well said Roughneck

The liberals are not a party of the common people, they are elitists who actually despise working class guys like Bernie.

Hey Bernard, did PM Small Potatoes do a selfie with you? Didn’t think so, probably didn’t want to get his hands dirty and you remind him too much of work – a 4 letter word in Liberalese..

Mike – “get” gangrene of the brain? Dude! Socialism IS gangrene of the brain.

Mongrel well said, the left wing scum despise people like that. Especially since they know he is a person of good character, something they will never be.

Bernard you should mention that Prevost coach builders in Quebec won’t be selling the usual 200 busses to Diversified transport in Alberta this year

Canadian Mongrel, I think you probably hit the attitude of the average Liberal quite accurately.

I also note that Bernard, blue collar labourer, speaks more than 2 seconds without an um or ah. Actually up to a full speech. Maybe Baby Doc should hire him for public speaking pointers. Except the first lesson would be that you have to have a clue about what you are talking about, so leaves Baby Doc blowing in the wind.

Heres your answer Christopher, the liberal elites were sneering and laughing. Good on ya Bernard. I am one of those Alberta and I just got back to work since the first week of May. I will only get 15 or 20 days but I’m happy to get something. I hope all socialists get gangrene of the brain.

But look at Bernard, he is dressed in real workers’ clothes. How yucky. He probably makes his own brew of tea or coffee in a thermos for a day’s work rather than Starbucks, yucky, yucky. His lunch is a sandwich in a box on site and not sushi in a restaurant with white wine, yucky, yucky, yucky. He actually contributes to Canada through real work, just how yucky can you get? Of course The handlers of Baby Doc have no time for Bernard.
