Bernier quits: How Scheer could have kept “Mad Max” in the Conservative Party

Ezra LevantRebel Commander

On last night's show, I offered Conservative Party leader Andrew Scheer advice on how to handle Maxime Bernier, to everyone's advantage. Today, Bernier announced his resignation from the party, but that could have been avoided...

I have been ‘obsessed" with our governments/politics and the affects of their agenda’s on Canada and we as Canadians since I was a teen. I am now 60 years of age and have NEVER, IN MY LIFE WITNESSED SUCH TREASON, HATE, DISDAIN,CONTEMPT AND OVERALL ABUSE, THEFT, LIES AND INCOMPETENCE AS I HAVE WITH TRUDEAU AND HIS ANTI CANADIAN LIBERAL REGIME!
In just under 3 YEARS this psychopath and his terrorists have robbed Canada of NATION status via the removal of our borders, security along them and all immigration/refugee/terrorist/illegal/ sponsorship laws WHICH WERE IN PLACE TO PROTECT THE FORMER SOVEREIGN NATION, CANADA!
I warned and warned BEFORE THE 2015 ELECTION what trudeau was and what was upon us if he were voted in and here we are!
Mr. Bernier was our ONLY HOPE and now we are pretty much done.
Trudeau via his illegals/fake refugees/ islamic third world imports will NOT BE VOTED OUT NEXT ELECTION! period!
He not only has welcomed them here , no questions, no vetting, no need to ever work, contribute, assimilate, obey the laws, learn our languages etc. but has FORCED WE CANADIANS TO ASSIMILATE AND BOW TO ISLAM WHILE HE AND HIS GOVERNMENT , EVERY LAW ENFORCEMENT, SCHOOL, UNIVERSITY, MEDIA AND EVERY OTHER GOVERNMENT AND POLITICIAN IN THE LAND SERVES, AND PROTECTS THEM OVER US- EVEN OUR MILITARY IS OVER IN THEIR COUNTRIES SERVING AND PROTECTING THEM WHILE WE ARE BEING INVADED, RAPED, SLAUGHTERED AND OVERTHROWN BY ALL WHO ARRIVE HERE DAILY, NO QUESTIONS!
It is too late now and again trudeau is not going to allow us to vote him out. I will be surprised if he even allows an election but either way we are done as is CANADA!
lol, only 2 plus years of this anti canadian psychopath trust fund brat and his imported religious terrorists (along with apparent FULL SUPPORT of the ‘canadian’ people, to completely eradicate/destroy the ‘country’ which took MILLIONS OF PEOPLE , HUNDREDS OF YEARS TO BUILD AND HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE TO SERVE AND PROTECT DURING TIMES OF WAR SINCE IT’S INCEPTION!
CANADIANS WILLINGLY VOTED FOR IT, CONTINUE TO SUPPORT AND REWARD IT WHILE REMAINING SILENT AND HOPING SOMEONE ELSE WILL COME SAVE THEM FROM WHAT THEY BROUGHT UPON THEMSELVES BUT ARE TOO COWARDLY TO STOP!

“I know you want Max to be some sort of Superman to save the day, but he’s going to have less appeal to center left/right Canadians compared to Scheer.”
….no kidding Einstein.

The liberals are happy as punch with Scheer. No big threat, even with Justin’s garbage leadership they thought a Scheer gave them a sliver of a chance. (I don’t think it does in any event).

Plus if Scheer gets in, his platform isn’t different enough to fuss the liberals much. Its more a timeline and optics thing with these conservatives, but basically the same animal, based on what Scheer is showing us. Bernier could put a real wrench in this insane global corporate government agenda we are being force fed. I think an independent Bernier is going to worry the Liberals a lot more than a Scheer.

The reality is that a great many Conservatives were not planning to vote for Andrew Scheer because he is too weak and doesn’t represent them. People didn’t know what they were going to do. Aside from the new Canadian Nationalist Party, Bernier is in touch with what Canadians want, so many Conservatives will switch allegiance to support him. Aside from Travis Patron, Bernier is the only one saying things that make sense – and both men are to be admired for standing up and exercising their right to freedom of thought and freedom of speech.

More Canadians have to be woken up and see what is the reality in Canada..President Trump did it..I’m not saying we need a Trump US style Leader..We need a CANADIAN! style Leader that can sit at the same table with Leaders like President Trump.

The troll said..
“Scheer was voted in as leader – love him or hate him, he deserves his shot to battle Trudeau in the next election.”
;;-;-;-;-;-;-;-;-;-;-;-;-;-;-;-
And how do you figure he deserves anything.??! We gave him a chance when he was voted in as party leader and catastrophically threw every conservative Canadian under the bus to promote his own values and his own ideas… He works for we the people not Andrew the Scheer..
::-:-:-:-:-:-:-;-:-:-;-;-;-
Sharon… I have been all for separation of this country until I watched a little open lady stand up to Trudeau and have a province unite behind her with the same values that we have.
Bernier wants to end the dairy cartel and Derek Fildebrandt in Alberta wants to end the transfer payments that the communist Jesuit Trudeau senior signed on to just before or just after he signed a contract with the UN to start accepting unlimited amounts of Middle East migrants to dilute mainstream Canadian culture… I would like to see politicians limited so their contracts shall not exceed the length of their tenure and we’re not suffering from their signatures long after their dead and gone.!!
But I do agree with you and not worry about splitting the vote and voting for who represents us the best.
commented 2018-08-23 20:04:15 -0400
Maxime Bernier was the hope of the federal Conservative Party; now it is dead. Andrew Scheer is turning out to be the other side of the coin; Scheer policies and actions are more and more leaning on the Trudeau side. Both leaders pushing for massive immigration. Already we see chaos from that and all the illegal immigration. Tory in Toronto has achieved some 165% in crime increase with the sanctuary status and he is proud of that. He thinks it is an achievement. At this rate, they all belong to the coucou house!

Conservatives have been kept in line with these “don’t split the vote” fear tactics for decades now. After all, we Albertans voted for a Harper gov’t that totally changed its spots from the firewall days because we had to swallow our principles and not dare “split the vote” – with whom or what no one knew but it was the only rallying cry the CPC had so we swallowed it. It is too late for that now. Scheer is sooo far from what most real conservatives want in a conservative Party leader that it is time to blow it all up and start again. I am most disappointed that spineless Alberta or Saskatchewan couldn’t produce a federal leader to represent the true nature of our principles so we may be forced to accept a Quebecois. We rolled over & played dead instead of putting up a fight when we were told Brad Wall could never be PM – so I guess we will have to settle for Maxime. Quebecers have always had more guts than us anyway.

Garab… there is no such thing as a forward thinking progressive. Maybe a move to Venezuela would be good learning experience for you.
commented 2018-08-23 19:38:54 -0400
and, of course, the great saviour of conservatism is likely to be impeached Shortly due to the recent testimonies. Future president Pence will have to bow to the renewed progressive majority in Congress, which will include forward thinking Republicans.

Keith, Nigel sure has a way with words! Yes, it does look like Scheer is more worried about his career than our fine nation. Heartbreaking, really.

What Terry Roberts said.
It doesn’t even matter that the Rebel was banned from the convention. We won’t be missing anything.

I have been really stressed about the upcoming election until now. If there is a chance of someone in sight who can do something about the path Canada is following I am ready to grab onto that lifeline. I’m sorry, but I feel let down by the cpc under Scheer. I do not agree with this path with regards to economic migrants and facilitated mass immigration. I don’t want it. With all my heart I don’t want it. I want out of this nightmare, and if there is someone saying they will have a way back to a sane and sovereign country where we won’t be replaced , I am following that guy.

Anyone who voted for Justin who is sorry they did, and I know for a fact there are many, will plant their vote on the right. Some total wackos, KM activists etc may even go with the NDP. Justin is going to be decimated any way you look at it. Now that is what the split vote that matters, is going to look like.

IMO, Scheer and Bernier both handled this very poorly……

Tammie, Scheer is more worried about his career than he is about his Country.

Glad I’m not the only one who watches the Nigel Farage Show. (re your final sentence.)

Yes I agree Ted… Let’s use our heads and support the candidate that best represents and reflects our values not a desperate attempt at change just to have more of the same down the road.!!
commented 2018-08-23 18:47:04 -0400
Well put Terry Roberts and I agree %100… The old boys club in Ottawa needs to be turned upside down and shaken.. besides… Max Bernier’s platform is a better reflection towards me than Andrew sheer’s and I will vote for the candidate that best represents me.!!

You know full well troll when you use vulgarity and you constantly resort to it at some point the post gets deleted. But hey all of us are still waiting for proof of your many lies from several threads just from the last few months, still nothing. Funny how it is always you who demands proof but REFUSE to give proof. LOL once again, thanks for the laugh troll, tell your boss you earned overtime pay.

Night All, am off.

We are definitely progressing in technology but it seems to me that some stagnation, even a decline of maturity among politicians and key people is obvious. Unless it is some deviant plan to screw everything up and allow the likes of Soros and other psychopaths to create chaos and use that chaos to enforce the global agenda.
commented 2018-08-23 17:58:13 -0400
Philip, my answer to you is the same as my answer to Flatwater. Divided conservative vote = Trudeau majority government or Liberal-NDP coalition, either way = CANADA BURNING!
commented 2018-08-23 17:57:18 -0400
Ted, the Conservatives that want the power are too far left for me. If Scheer wants to win, he better come out as a Conservative instead of a Liberal wannabe.
commented 2018-08-23 17:55:12 -0400
Flatwater,

What you are telling me is that you are thinking with your heart, not your head. Do you seriously think that with the conservative vote split, either Scheer or Bernier would be the next PM? Then you learned nothing from the 1990’s or from the last Alberta election. Can’t you see the Liberals just licking their chops right now at the prospect of walking into the halls of power again and again with 35% of the vote? When will conservatives learn their lesson, stop splitting their vote, and stop giving the Liberals and NDP carte blanche power to destroy this country??? VOTE WITH YOUR HEAD!!!
commented 2018-08-23 17:52:48 -0400
I am on the executive of a Conservative EDA and must say there is much to be said about the ivory tower mentality in Ottawa. After seeing how the recent situation with Max was being handled I realized I would be wasting time and money going to Halifax as was planned months ago. Reading the party constitution was an eye opener – something out of touch with the times and filled with motherhood statements. Not a word of mention about indigenous people as though they don’t exist. There is little discussion about making the PC tent larger – just tiresome lamentations about Justin Trudeau. Given real policy alternatives, most Canadians would dump the Liberals – but as long as politically- correct Sheer heads the party it is unlikely that he will gain power should Max actually split the vote and create a new party of real conservatives ( of whom there are many ). This country needs someone like Max to shake up the Ottawa Club membership and he has done the right thing by leaving the party. He may shock everyone by cobbling together a new populist party and McGA. Right now, neither Libs or Cons are listening to the grass roots and most Canadians know it.
commented 2018-08-23 17:45:51 -0400
Ted, you do not run to the left of Trudeau to get my vote. Sorry, to me it feels like he hijacked the party.
