1. Jogger brutally attacked by hooded thugs - and only escapes by speaking ARABIC.
“The one who punched me was waiting at the side of the canal with an incredible look of pleasure on his face. “He was waiting to watch me suffer or to come back so he could hit me again."
It was at this point that bilingual Lee began to speak in Arabic.
“He said: "I was able to identify them as Pakistani as I've worked in Muslim communities and have a detailed knowledge of Islam and speak Arabic to a certain level. I also used to teach asylum seekers for a while.”
2. Trump admin targets violent Islamist groups as foreign policy priority

3. Austria: Girl who claimed fake hate crime could be charged with filing false report
A young Muslim girl who claimed she had been the victim of a hate crime at a train station and pushed onto the tracks has been accused of making it all up.
The 14-year-old, named only as Sinem, claimed on social media that she had been called a "terrorist" and was then pushed onto the tracks by a stranger who had taken offence at her headscarf at a railway station in the Austrian capital of Vienna.
She wrote on an online anti-discrimination and racism group that she was saved in the "last seconds" by another stranger who pulled her back onto the platform before a train pulled in.” […]
(Police) said: "We have looked through the CCTV and at the time when the incident is alleged to have occurred nothing can be seen on the records.
"Both the alleged victim and the accused are captured on CCTV, but nothing ever happens and they are both simply seen getting on the train."
Similarly, many acts of arson against migrant centres seem to have been carried out by Muslim migrants.
4. Leaked secret document from Italian prisons shows that most dangerous imams are due for release within a year.
A dossier in which not only particulars and the origins of the 148 self-styled imams, in large part Moroccans, Tunisians, and Algerians, who control the prayers in Italian prisons, but also the details about how they are observed and described by operators of the prison authority. […]
In analyzing their positions, Nic specifies three levels of risks. The first, defined as “high”, include “monitored subjects”. The prisoners jailed for crimes connected to international terrorism are those of particular interest for their stances on radicalization and recruitment.
At the “medium” level are placed prisoners who deserve attention, are close to the jihadist ideology and are active at the level of proselytizing and recruitment.
The third “low” level includes the so-called “singled out”, all those on whom further study is done to see whether they should be placed in the first or second level or exempted from additional scrutiny. Among the 26 out of 148 imams investigated by Nic, fourteen are “monitored subjects” — at the level of maximum risk, eight “deserve attention” and four are “singled out”.
5. Moroccan government is serious about its new ban on burqas: raids shops
The ministry’s decision prompted scores of Moroccan women who wear the garment to gather outside parliament last Sunday to denounce the ban.

8. Denmark bans marriage for under-18s
The Danish parliament on Thursday approved a bill that will prohibit people from under the age of 18 from getting married. The bill also states that minors who were married abroad will not have their marriages recognized by Denmark.
The action is seen as a response to an Integration Ministry report from last year that revealed that there are 27 minors in the Danish asylum system who have spouses or registered partners. According to an earlier report in Metroxpress, female asylum seekers as young as 14 had entered the country married to men who are ten or more years their elder.
This led to an outcry about the so-called ‘child brides’ and an order from Integration Minister Inger Støjberg to physically separate the couples.
However, the government reversed course seven months later and reunited the married couples when the Danish Immigration Service was forced to acknowledge that the policy was likely a violation of the asylum seekers’ rights.
9. Controversy as Islamic call to prayer held inside historic British cathedral
This is the second time within the last week that an Islamic prayer was recited in a UK cathedral, and the video was taken down by the Christian organizations after a social media backlash.
The first was at a Scottish cathedral where the script which was approved, was a short quote from the Koran. However, the women went on to read the rest of the verses which explain that Jesus was not in fact the son of God:
The full but un-subtitled video is here:
The traditional Muslim invocation to worship was performed in front of 1,000 people at the launch of a multi-cultural Faith Exhibition at Gloucester Cathedral.
Imam Hassan of the local Masjid-e-Noor mosque was invited by church leaders to carry it out in the cathedral's 11th century Chapter House.
Many worshippers welcomed the "inclusive" act but some traditionalists questioned why a "different god" should be worshipped in such an iconic Christian house.
This was the video removed from social media by the organizers:
10. Germany: Migrant jailed after blaming ‘high sex drive’ for rape of girl in classroom
The 24-year-old Ghanian has been jailed for three years and two months for the horrific assault last August.
He had stumbled across his victim in an empty school building in the town of Duisburg, where she was talking to friends.
One friend escaped out of a window before the man grabbed the girl, forcibly undressed her and then raped her.
Initially the man, who was staying in an asylum centre in the town, refused to admit he carried out the chilling attack.
This story is reminiscent of a similar rape of a ten year old boy at a German swimming pool last year.
In that event, the judge released the rapist claiming that it's possible the man didn’t know the child did not want to be raped by the migrant stranger.
