It's the latest in public schools entering ridiculous levels political correctness just before Valentine's Day.
Principal Scott Masini of Bruce Vento Elementary School sent a letter on a private Facebook page saying, “I have come to the difficult decision to discontinue the celebration of the dominant holidays until we can come to a better understanding of how the dominant view will suppress someone else’s view.”
The beta male continued, “One of the concerns that I have... is whether or not this practice is encroaching on the educational opportunities of others and threatening the culture of tolerance and respect for all.”
After the story received attention from local media mocking the school's decision, Saint Paul Public Schools released a statement to the Star-Tribune.
“Because Saint Paul Public Schools is a diverse district that is filled with families from around the world we strive to respect all cultures and all students. We recognize that not every student celebrates or participates in some or all holidays. We have a board policy that discourages programs and festivities that celebrate observances unless they are required by law.”
A district spokesman told Fox News that many students come from all over the world and the school has a large Somali population.
Apparently the district spokesman didn't realize that these students are living in America – where American life is prominent and, in all seriousness, superior to the way things are in Somalia.
Many on the internet have called Scott Masini a 'cuck' for his decision to cut holidays to preserve “cultural tolerance” and lack of respect for his country and its values.
