Bill Murray “steps out of liberal political bubble,” slams identity politics

Amanda HeadRebel Contributor

Comedy was so much better before the days of political correctness.

Bill Murray agrees, and he should know, having starred in some of the all-time classic funny films, like Stripes and Ghostbusters.

Recently Murray made waves when he praised Trump's tax cuts, and aimed sharp criticism at the Democrats' embrace of divisive identity politics.

Well Bill Murray – you certainly will not be parading down the red carpet at the Oscars!… Murray probably blew it a few years ago by his re-make of A Christmas Carol which promoted traditional values of love and family…

I just don’t understand why people need actors to tell them what to think. I abhor Hollywood, have for years, although sometimes they surprise me

A good point, Peter.
I have asked myself and some lefties that seem kind of question. Why do we ascribe moral superiority to someone just because they made it famous on TV or movies? Why do we ascribe moral authority and genius to people who got elected? One day they are just average (or below average) but suddenly they become part of the government and they are assumed to be all knowing and virtuous.

Some of these losers wouldn’t be given the time day if they visited you and you’d hide the silverware if you knew they were coming. Why do we- and the left in particular- ascribe divinity to these schlubs? Elon Musk is hailed as a divinity because he makes electric vehicles. To see the crowds gushing and fawning over him is stomach turning.

Then the Ubermensch screw up big time and molest women or whatever and we are shocked that they are mere sinning humans walking among us. “Professing to wise they became fools.”

I was up late, the other night, and went through the channels only to find a program called Broad City.
A female, feminist show of two twenty something females. The most disgusting, crude, revolting depiction of what young women are supposed to be like today.
If younger girls/women are watching this kind of ’blank;, then no wonder why this generation is so screwed up.
