Bill Nye, the SJW Guy

Rebel Staff

I watched Bill Nye the Science Guy in my elementary school science classes. Our teacher would show us episodes because they were fun, interactive, and informative.

Bill Nye himself was the reason the show was so popular among kids. He was such a likeable person and, in many respects, he still is.

But it does seem like Bill Nye has fallen from glory, given that he’s now a Social Justice Warrior who pushes pseudo-science and a social agenda.

For instance, on his new show, Nye says he thinks there are more than two genders and more than two biological sexes. Bill Nye, the freaking "science guy," has bought into the unscientific SJW myth that there are an infinite number of genders.

In the human species, there are people who fertilize ova through sperm — males — and there are people who created the ova within their bodies to help create babies — females.

In response, Bill Nye would probably argue that in some cases a person might have more than just male or female chromosomes. And to that, I say, yes, these people do exist. But they don't represent the evolutionary phenomenon of biological human sex; that is to say, they are an anomaly, people who have a disorder or condition.

(WATCH as I take on Bill Nye’s comments about abortion, too.)

You’ve changed, Bill. And that’s sad because I looked up to you as a kid.

I wonder how Bill Nye the SJW guy would have felt about his mother aborting him…I wonder how he would feel having his limbs ripped from his little body, while comfortably ensconced in his mother’s womb, or how he would feel when the forceps crush or puncture his little skull, as the ‘doctor’ tries to rip him out of his mother’s womb…Yeah, all us pro-lifers are a sick bunch, eh Bill?

Evolution is still scientific theory – the missing link is still missing – but it is being ‘taught’ as scientific fact! There’s science, that goes by hard and fast rules, and then there are the modern day ‘scientists’…who choose what laws of science they want to believe or not, like a mentally disordered person with Gender dysphoria or gender identity disorder (GID), ‘choosing’ to be some freakshow pseudo-gender or other…

I’m glad you and THEREBEL are out there Jay, exposing these enemies of the people, keep it up!

Andrew, don’t you ever get tired of being wrong?
commented 2017-04-27 22:31:52 -0400
Andrew how about Iceland and down syndrome? Who the hell are they to say that is not something that nature is readying for human survival in the future? Nothing evolutionary about that, just human arrogance and to quote Jurassic Park-“a lack of humility before nature”
And you damn well know that is more of a left wing trait even with all the phony global warming crap.
commented 2017-04-27 22:27:17 -0400
Andrew do you realize who is having abortions? Maybe take a look for some stats.
commented 2017-04-27 22:26:18 -0400
Andrew Stephenson , no the fossil record does not show that. No matter how much you want to believe it. And you know i am right about abortion, let nature decide , not people, or it is not evolution. And many people have abortions for reasons related to gender and traits. Maybe pay attention sometime. And their is no missing link for a reason , you cannot just fill in the blanks as you wish, that is not science.

Cheap emotion is what the leftist position is founded on. Then they use pseudo-reason to try to justify their position.

Don’t want to walk into the evolution debate but it is funny that Nye supports multiple genders since that is the fast track to extinction.
commented 2017-04-27 11:57:39 -0400
First clue. He is not a real scientist – he just plays one on TV. His new Netflix show is disgusting and not for kids. He also carries water for global warming. In is “scientific” debate with Tucker Carlson he resorts to cheap emotions rather than science asking Tucker if he has kids.

Funny how the largest proponents of evolution are happy to stand in its way by having abortions on demand for any reason”

Elective abortion is evolutionarily neutral as there’s no trait being selected for. I suppose you could argue that since it’s the educated urban dwellers having most of them and having very few children when they do, that it’s actually counter-selecting for intelligence. A repeat of history, when the larger-brained Neanderthals were killed off by their smaller-brained, but more aggressive, H sapiens cousins? Intelligence is polygenic so likely not, but who knows?

“Drew Wakariuk commented 10 hours ago
Andrew Stephenson that is natural adaptation and does not prove we evolved from apes. Still waiting for that missing link to be found”

Adaptation and evolution are the same thing, merely different timescales. At some point adaptive pressures lead to

There is no such thing as a “missing link”. The fossil record shows a pretty complete lineage of gradually more human hominids going back to our most-recent common ancestor with the three other extant hominid species.

Just another quick thought. Why are evolutionists so opposed to climate change? Will not we “organisms” just evolve to suit the new surroundings? Sure we might not survive as a species but then we just aren’t fit enough so it is our obligation to shuffle off the mortal coil. Supposedly this has happened billions of times before so why worry about it? It’s all just part of the grand scheme of chance and randomness. Sucks to be us.

“An organism that can’t identify toxic plants will have trouble with them, so if its sibling develops a mutation…”

And how, pray tell, do these organisms communicate this to each other? Sit down and have a wee conversation over a cuppa? Very difficult when, as you mitigate it, a n organism , “has trouble with them”. And what would that trouble be? Oh, yeah, death. Hard to communicate when you’re dead, I would think.

And all these organisms are not vocal nor do they have ESP so how is this information being communicated? Furthermore they are not self aware at any point before full development so it is BS to think they are sitting down and meditating won what went wrong. Then they must have supernatural powers to effect changes that they desire. “I think I can , I think I can”, isn’t going to cut it. I would really like coevolve out of diabetes but it ain’t happening. Please send me a link to this ability to effect physical change by wishing it to be so.

Evolution: mankind’s biggest pipe dream.

Good morning folks, the Captain speaking. I’ve never flown this type of airplane before , in fact I’m not even a pilot , but I’ve practiced on Microsoft Flight Simulator and I can assure you we will have a safe flight down to Miami. By the way this flight is a little overbooked so if anyone would like to give up their seat just come forward and talk to the gate supervisor.
Too bad people don’t realize that 99% of what we read and see from the media is complete rubbish . The ramifications of believing this crap is just as dire as taking a flight with Captain Wrongway Peach Fuzz.

I know that I will be subject to a stoning and/or a mobbing for saying this….thoroughbred race horses are not Darwininian evolution….they are breeding and husbandry.

Evolution is not a sniper rifle….it is a shotgun….nature tries EVERYTHING…and sometimes the darndest things work.

The earth was not created in a week 5774 years ago.

It seems in character for Nye to “pose” as an expert – he is in fact an actor hired to read scripts written for him on a child’s TV show – he is not a scientist, not even close – I think he barely struggled through a batchelor’s degree in mechanical Eng.

This recalls the old joke about TV reality – “I’m not really a doctor, I just play one on TV but I sure know what makes me sick.”

So, Bill, I’m not a farmer but I sure know BS when I smell it.

It’s bizarre that you’d name a bunch of selective pressures as evidence revolution doesn’t occur. It’s not quite as cut and dried as “if they don’t have it they die”… but yes, that’s basically how evolution works. An organism that can’t identify toxic plants will have trouble with them, so if its sibling develops a mutation allowing it to better identify toxic fruit (or better yet, is resistant to the poison) then it will have higher fitness and the mutant allele will expand through the population for the simple reason that the mutants die from eating toxic fruit, far less often, and prolfierate.

Here is 40 pages just on the workings of B12:

That is just one of an incredibly complex number of systems in the human body that rely on multitudes of vitamins, minerals and nutrients in order for the body to function. Evolution? Not likely.

Evolution is a joke perpetrated by those desperate to not have to deal with God.
I’m a diabetic. If my sugar levels are wrong I’m dead in 5 – 10 years if its high or a matter of hours if its low. Postulating millions of years doesn’t allow for any other outcome.

For evolution to work both male and female (forget about multitudes of genders) have to evolve at the same time, the same place, and at the same rate or they cannot reproduce. Again, millions of years does not resolve the problem. IF the male is of reproductive capacity and the female is not (or vice versa) there can be no reproduction. The race dies out.

The world is full of toxic plants. The discovery method would not work well to deduce which plants are which. The manchineel fruit looks like an apple but the consumption of it results in painful death, Just touching it results in burns and if it gets in your eyes, blindness. Millions of years of evolution just brought o a screeching halt. Not to mention predatory or just plain cantankerous animals. A group of “light sensitive cells” isn’t much use in discerning which animal is which. Or if that is a cliff or just a shadow on the hill. Multiply these plant and animals by several thousand and yogurt the picture.

The lack of vitamin B12 is fatal. So if you don’t have it you can’t evolve. It has to be there in the right amount from the get go. You also need B1, B3,B6 and B9 in the right proportions as well as other co factors. Too much B6 is fatal. Millions of years doesn’t solve that problem.

All things neccessary for life and survival have to be present in the right proportions immediately or life ends. Fake science to go along with the fake news.

I make sure my son sees all this
I make sure he understands the pervasive mental illness that’s gripping society
I make sure he understands that even people who appear to have power, prestige, position and authority, can be just as corrupted and/or overcome with some extreme ideologies or mental illness, as anyone else can.
I’m in the minority, but I believe I am right and will fight for that.
If I am wrong, and I misunderstood that up is not down, black is not white, truth is not lies, boy is not girl, and decency is not perversion, then I’ll repent for that one day… but until that day … “I Make Sure”. hoping YOU will too

When others try to convince me that evolution is true, my response is, then why are there still monkeys and apes walking around. If they’ve evolved, why aren’t they human beings? They still don’t have the answer, and they never will have it. "

Simple answer, that a niche to support them still exists, so they will fill it – there’s no biological imperative to leave a perfectly sufficient habitat. Humans did, but that was because they evolved to exploit a different set of habitats (savannah vs jungle, for example, one favouring an arboreal herbivore and the other a bipedal hunter) Note that monkeys and apes are themselves have not remained static since their most recent common ancestor (which looked neither like humans nor chimps).

“Elton Braun.their DNA began to mutate and as every scientist is loathe to admit, everything in creation is degenerating including the entire universe”

Humans have mutated, indeed, and most mutations are indeed deleterious (though such mutations generally drop out of the population rapidly, for obvious reasons). The occasional mutation confers some adaptive advantage and expands through the population over time. Some are both good and bad at the same time (the sickle cell gene confers resistance to malaria if you have one copy, which is enough of a positive pressure to maintain the allele even though being homozygous causes some pretty nasty symptoms).

Things such as genetics can be locally non-entropic; entropy increases as a whole, but a considerable amount of that entropy is generated in the maintenance or even increased order in some local part of it. You can spend time and energy putting a deck of cards in order, reducing their entropy, but the energy you expend doing so increases the entropy of the universe as a whole. Although true that it would degrade if left to its own devices, there are elaborate systems that capture and repair the majority (albeit not all) mutations.
