Yesterday, I told you about a weird case in Toronto, where a left-wing comedian wanted to do a free speech comedy night making fun of what he called “fascists.”
It was a bit confusing. So confusing that another group of leftists shut down the leftist comedy night. They actually jammed the door locks, making it impossible to get in.
I didn’t mention that a group called Canadian Journalists for Free Expression then had a fundraiser, to pay for the damaged door handle.
The fundraiser was set up by Kevin Metcalf, the CJFE communications coordinator. Seemed like a strange thing to pay for.
But I didn’t see this until today — The left-wing comedian left this comment about Metcalf:
"He incites people 2 get a free speech comedy show cancelled and is now trying to say I'm the one at fault? Free speech is so controversial?”
In other words, this comedy event was censored by the communications coordinator at — Canadian Journalists for Free Expression!
And now he’s fixing the door — after whipping up the mob who broke it?
As long as Kevin Metcalf works for CJFE, their very name is false advertising.
