On last night's episode of The Ezra Levant Show, Conservative MP Brad Trost (Saskatoon-University) joined me to discuss the provincial governments pushing back against Justin Trudeau's federally imposed carbon tax.
Originally it was just Saskatchewan opposing Trudeau, now Doug Ford's victory in Ontario's recent provincial election has added Canada's most populous province to the fight against the carbon tax.
But it's not just conservatives anymore, the Liberal governments of New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island are starting to resist the efforts of their federal cousins. And this makes a lot of sense, why would a Liberal party support a tax that makes the poor poorer?
WATCH my full interview with Brad Trost to see how the increasing opposition to Trudeau's carbon tax is proof the Prime Minister has lost his prestige.
