@jack Carter, I was servicing teletype and wirephoto machines in 1970. Do you honestly think I do not know how to source news? I attended the funerals of the last honest to God journalists in Canada and that was befor eyou were born mook.

I saw CBC sign on the air in black and white and now I can only get it in French over the airwaves where I live.

Things change Jack.

Oh and Jack….I have changed the career paths of people so much more powerfull than you, that you would need a ladder to kiss their ass.

Isn’t having a state broadcaster the opposite of freedom?
commented 2017-02-20 01:58:20 -0500
Jack Carter CBC is not Canadas biggest media source.
commented 2017-02-20 01:27:17 -0500
Glenn Craig,

You couldn’t take down a lemonade stand. It’s laughable that you think you are going to be living in a Canada soon that no longer has the CBC as it’s biggest media source.

Jack Carter said, “It’s not a comeback, I am stating an undeniable fact.”

You are full of childish comments tonight, Jack.

@jack Carter…nothing has changed since I set out to take down the CBC some time ago.

Never….

Not once….

Nope….

Nary a one time…

Have I ever had to evangelize, coax, persuade, or convert, people to be like minded in their contempt of the CBC and resolve to defund it….the CBC itself is the best recruiting officer a fella could want.

They don’t seem to be making new friends at any impressive rate….the ones who pay for them are loosing enthusiasim…..and if you are enthusiastic….you would have to prove that you are not being payed by them before I would think for a moment you actually spoke for yourself….let alone the Canadian public…..sir…you do not….neither does Justin Trudeau.

Jack Carter where are all the CBC stories on the Paris riots that have been going on for over a week? LMAO!
commented 2017-02-20 00:43:12 -0500
Jack Carter you violated the Rebels rules that you agreed to halfwit, CBC deletes comments that do nothing of the sort , if you are not man enough to admit that , then go cry to your mommy little boy.
commented 2017-02-20 00:40:22 -0500
Jack Carter oh did they call thinking a man was a woman an editing error? LMAO! Sure thing you pathetic loser twerp. Rebel will keep growing and you will keep whining and sorry but CBC would die without funding, no one would join them as they are elitist twits who have screwed over other media you halfwit. And they lie regularly.
commented 2017-02-20 00:38:07 -0500
Jack Carter Canadaland made a phony story to defame the Rebel , IDIOT! And CBC is not that popular halfwit , and they pay to push their links above others which results in more hits, when it comes to youtube and that is not able to be done , they are far behind LMAO!
Now go support Jesse Brown the lying loser.

Peter Netterville,

It’s not a comeback, I am stating an undeniable fact.

Jack said, "Obviously it is you who is fucking stupid … "

Oh, good come back! How old did you say you are? 5? 6, maybe?
commented 2017-02-19 21:40:39 -0500
Glenn,

Obviously since CBC is number 1 in Canada and The Rebel is number 200 out of all the media sources in Canada.

CBC is gonna crack any second now.
commented 2017-02-19 21:23:24 -0500
@jack Carter…media that scolds, nags, insults and politically corrects it’s audience has no future.
commented 2017-02-19 21:12:44 -0500
Jack Carter – “unlike Kellie Leitch, who is fucking stupid”

Jack, the only “stupid fuck” around here is you, not Kelly Leitch.

Andrew Stephenson said took what I said about the CBC and twisted it to say,
“So, basically, he didn’t get rid of the CBC because Canadians actually like the CBC enough that it would be a wedge issue in an election, and one he’d lose over. In essence the only way to get rid of it is to do it in a devious and underhanded manner.”

No, Andrew, that is not what I said. Go back and re-read what I wrote. However, I think your twisted mind would just screw up what I said yet again. Damn, Andrew, why are you such a bastard and twist what people say and make it into a lie?

Drew,

Of course CBC is popular – it’s pretty much the biggest website in Canada in terms of traffic. MILLIONS AND MILLIONS AND MILLIONS of people in Canada, America and around the world go there every single say.

Even The Rebel’s own poll confirmed that a majority of Canadians support the CBC.

You are really a stupid human being.
commented 2017-02-19 20:41:12 -0500
Drew,

The Rebel did censor me – that’s why I am using a different name on here. I had to sign up again, because I was censored and banned. So clearly Ezra is full of shit and you don’t know what you are talking about.
commented 2017-02-19 20:34:59 -0500
Nnaumbua Farrell,

Considering the traffic that CBC gets, advertisers will be there. Millions of people go to the CBC website, because they like the content.

In fact, if the CBC did privatize, there would be many companies that would want to be part of the CBC brand financially speaking. It would clearly be a great investment considering the audience that the CBC has.
commented 2017-02-19 19:53:32 -0500
Jack Carter is showed you how Canadaland was full of sh*t and you cannot do the same for the Rebel of course.
commented 2017-02-19 19:51:28 -0500
Jack Carter CBC pays for priority ads , they would not have anywhere near the number of hits if they could not do that on the taxpayers back. If the Rebel had that money they would wipe the floor with the CBC in every way. Sorry to have to explain that again Jimmy, but you always cling to your BS.
commented 2017-02-19 19:49:56 -0500
Jack Carter if the Rebel censored you would not be on here. They do not censor differing opinions like CBC , you violated the Rebel agreement, CBC censors without violation, that means they are CENSORS!!!! Try and keep up.
commented 2017-02-19 19:47:44 -0500
Jack Carter and Andrew CBC is not popular and you damn well know it would die if cut off.
commented 2017-02-19 19:46:44 -0500
Jack Carter when did we have a choice to support CBC? You are an idiot.
commented 2017-02-19 16:58:51 -0500
“Karma is a bitch” Yeah, remember that when the pendulum finally swings the other way! Want to compare with the U.S.A.? No matter how much the lefties loved Obama and Clinton and protested against Trump, actual Americans, those that work for a living and raise families were tired of the insane antics of Obama and Clinton. The violence perpetrated by the left convinced the so called “boringly normal” that they could not stomach this anymore. The irony is the “left” in large measure got Trump elected! Canada is always a few years behind events in the States. Rest assured the Epiphany for our leftist “deplorables” is in the cards when Canadians reeling under financial attack through ever increasing taxation and attack on speech by the resident Liebranos, finally take the Liebranos and their sycophants to task!
commented 2017-02-19 16:53:34 -0500
LOL

The CBC only raises about $300 million in advertising. That’s what eyeballs pay for. That’s before it gets its nearly $1.5 billion subsidy. Sorry Jack, eyeballs alone won’t pay for the CBC if it went private.

Unlike The Rebel, the CBC can’t go it alone.
commented 2017-02-19 16:11:03 -0500
Nnaumbua Farrell,

I am not admitting anything. Do you honestly think that millions of Canadians that read, listen and watch CBC would all of a sudden dry up if they privatized. T

he CBC website is pretty much the biggest and most popular website in Canada – traffic that Ezra would kill his own mother for.
commented 2017-02-19 15:46:54 -0500
The main reason, internal negative forces within the PCC, so in fact a lot of those, “supposedly” conservatives are really closet liberalz. remember that when you go voting.
commented 2017-02-19 15:30:02 -0500
Jack Carter, I’m glad you’re admitting that the CBC can’t survive on its own. The best thing is that it’s helping to slowly strangle its left leaning competitors in the private sector thanks to its share of advertising dollars and subsidized content dumping.
commented 2017-02-19 15:03:30 -0500
Peter Netterville,

The majority of Canadians support the CBC – even Rebel’s own poll confirmed that. Harper knew there would be a huge backlash against him, so he didn’t make that mistake – unlike Kellie Leitch, who is fucking stupid.

Outside of The Rebel, taking down the CBC is going to be seen as a negative to most Canadians.
