Ezra LevantRebel Commander

On Friday's program, Alberta opposition leader Brian Jean explained that the federal government isn't doing enough to help those in his province who are struggling, from fixing an inequitable employment insurance system to approving new pipelines.

Are being facetious or are you stoned?

I saw CBC’s On the Money show & they had a climate expert debating the Fraser Instute. The green supporter said the carbon tax is supposed to hurt, that is how change in behaviour takes place. Trouble with that theory is that only the non trust fund type people will be hurt. The Hollywood types & trust fund people can continue to live lavish ghg emmitting lifestyles b/c they will not feel the pain & therefore not need to change. Meanwhile the everyday Canuck will be budgeting their car trips , huddling in the cold and regressing in our standard of living. So I save " I give", I give up already, it hurts, so can we stop it now?

When you get dumped by the “accept-anyone-that-is-a-radical-leftwing-freak” party, you know you are way off the rails.

@ Cameron Robock

There is very little federal money that has gone into Ft. McMurray. Most is covered by private insurance.

You will find the opinion of a washed out NDP candidate is not respected much here, Cameron.

@ Bill Elder

Yea, I can remember hearing on the news when Pierre Idiot Trudeau did that in Salmon Arm BC to the protesters, but it was representative of how Trudeau felt about all Western Canada. And now his creepy cuckold son is even worse.

Fort Mac is 90% covered by federal money that insurance does not cover.
So this is jean asking for a handout??? Trying to be a welfare bum?
Pc/wild rose all the same. Complain about hand outs but expect they should be given handouts. Hahaha

We don’t need help from these federal retards . We need them to stay out of our business ! The stench of Globalism is polluting our clean air !

Jean sure has a lot of nerve coming onto the rebel, after he acted all chicken shit over the lock her up rally.

Lock her up!

Sorry we need actual help, not BS from Justin. He would screw it up anyways.

The Turdo is a destroyer, not a helper. His Death Cult friends have taught him well, not that he needed a lot of teaching, destruction is natural to him.

JT at the UN : “we are Canadians we’re here to help” – except Canadians in the west or other people we hate because they have different beliefs than us

This is a brilliant political strategy from Brian Jean…
He already knew before he asked Trudeau for help that our PM would not grant any relief to the west.
It was a Brilliant strategy to show the rest of the western provinces not only the distain but the complete lack of empathy for Westerners in Canada and position themselves accordingly in the next federal election.
Brian Jean has pissed me off but I still like him and I still support him and maybe his testosterone levels will increase when he fully understands how much of the province is behind him and won’t hang him out to dry when he goes to bat for us.
Our three Western stand up guys are Brian Jean Alberta Brad Wall Saskatchewan and Brad Trost would be the best choice to fix the problems in Canada at the federal level.!!
I am hearing that there is some resistance and pushback from the Manitoba premier as well.
Stick together people, let’s get this right and there may be hope to pull the fat from the fire.!!

Don’t hold your breath for this leftist, globalist to come forward and help!

We don’t need anything from the anti-western liberals. We need to separate.

Every time a governments approval ratings dip below 40% that makes them a lame duck regime. Therefore they are to be considered irrelevant and are to be ignored . So the grown ups in the room should just pat the children on head and carry on.

We don’t need no stinking badges.

We have already been told what the Trudeau’s think of Alberta FUDDLE DUDDLE TO YOU.

Albertans have always been able to survive the eastern onslaught, by standing on our own. The fact that Brian Jean has to ask Trudeau for help, drops him another notch in my books. To hell with the Feds on every level.

REDNECK REVOLUTION!!!!

I can’t wait for Trudope to go away! Trudope can’t help he’s in bed with the Saudis.

You’re wasting your breath – Baby doc Truedough has doubled down on Popa doc’s loathing of the west – He’s an anti-Canadian post nationalist Trotsky-Marxist and a devout Anglophobe – You got about as much chance of getting sympathy from junior as you do a hungry sewer rat.

Papa doc set out to destroy Alberta with the NEP and funnel its resource wealth into Quebec – he did it out of his shear loathing of the west – Baby doc is committed to finishing this dynastic agenda.

Change the name to Bombardier Oil Sands and you will get lots of taxpayer money and jobs.

Bonnie said, " … unless that very oil is used for jet fuel , for lets say, a trip to the Bahamas, … "

unless that very oil is used for jet fuel , for lets say, a trip to the Bahamas [on a Bombardier jet for Trudeau, family and friends paid for by the tax payer],

Just wanted to expand that statement. ;o)
commented 2017-01-22 12:51:38 -0500
So let me wrap my head around this. Help from PM for AB? I don’t think so , as long as the gov’t thinks Oil is terrible we will be punished, unless that very oil is used for jet fuel , for lets say, a trip to the Bahamas, then suddenly oil is not so terrible? So I guess if you are rich, you can use fossil fuels (because you can afford the tax) but if you are not rich you curl up in a blanket, walk, take the bus etc.

It’s called a shift in power from east to west. Trudeau has his strings being pulled by the east. Once you realize that all else becomes clear.
commented 2017-01-22 12:04:50 -0500
The only way Trudeau helped out, and even then not by much, is in the EI extension. Albertans don’t want the EI but jobs. Albertans like earning their own money, not getting a government cheque. But Trudeau and Notley kill jobs intentionally while increasing taxes and making new taxes.

I hope the Wildrose take a huge majority next election.

Very naïve on Brain Genes part.
