We used to have fun teasing the workers from BC on the line, or when we were working in BC on the radio-we would say it stood for Bring Cash, sadly now we are the ones who should be getting teased.

DD BAGG it was the left that rolled out the past residential schools, so not too surprising.

Keith Barnes, They are clever & they are indeed ruining lives! I’ve come to believe they actually hate Alberta & hate Albertans.
Lets hope & pray we can get them gone before we have nothing left to salvage of our province. Lets hope we can get them outta here & back to prosperity & JOBS for people & families.

You’re right Sheila… B.C. is not “exactly a dump” and we intend to keep it that way… With the May 9th provincial election approaching, B.C.-ers are going to be reminded more and more of what is happening next door in once-proud Alberta… And any B.C. resident, old enough to remember the last disastrous nine years of NDP rule, sure as Hell are not going to commit financial suicide again… Even the “union stalwarts” remember what happened to the oil and gas, mining, and forestry sectors during those dismal years… The NDP’s “useful idiots” are concentrated in the Lower Mainland and in pockets on Vancouver Island… And then of course there are the “pakalolo tokers”,voting Green as always, on the Gulf Islands…

I hope Andrew Scheer is chosen leader of the federal Conservatives. He and Jason Kenny would work well together.

NDP will have done so much damage by the time they are done.

Excellent reporting, as always, Sheila Gunn Reid, and you seem to have thrown off the criticisms of your so-called ‘dowdiness’.

With Jason Kenney as leader of the Progressive Conservatives in Alberta we will feel the winds of change in the west. He will put the Danes in their place.

Alberta is never going to pull out of this damage the NDP are causing.

So, next election the NDP are gone. Good.

So then let’s say the next Conservative government does what they should and introduces austerity and government reduction and actually starts to get spending, the deficit, and the debt under control … just like Ralph did.

Then, by the end of the first four year term people are getting sick of the austerity … but let’s say the Conservatives convince the people to vote them in for another term. More austerity, more cut back, more pain.

Do you really think the Conservatives will be able to go the three or four terms necessary to get Alberta back into the black?

If it will take a minimum of ten years to get the finances under control and two terms is about the max the Conservatives will be able to go before people are tired of the austerity … … well, you get the point.

Alberta is screwed. And all done in four years of the NDP crap government.

Sheila, they don’t teach responsible public fund management at the globalist school of klepto-economics that the Dippers attended. It’s about opening the public purse for the personal of their foreign special interest NGO patrons. It’s Venezuela in slo-mo.
