Pssst! Wanna talk to a cabinet minister at the Liberal "Holiday Party"? Pay up!

Brian LilleyArchive

Justin Trudeau promised his Liberal government would be more transparent than the Conservatives', but even his friends at are questioning that now.

Meanwhile, the Liberals just sent out a fundraising email that doesn't exactly fit their "transparency" narrative:

It says that if you give the right donation amount and if your name is picked, then you can come to the Liberal Caucus "Holiday Party" and ask cabinet ministers questions.

Questions like:

How soon will the Liberals legalize marijuana? (And yes, that is one of the examples in the Liberals' email.)

There's a word for this: Payola. It was illegal when rock and roll DJs did it back in the 1950s -- but remember:

It's 2015!

I’d pay. And I’d also drop a quarter into Harper’s cup as he’s panhandling outside.

The Liberal cabinet ministers sure seem to be available to the media for questions these days, and reporters seem to be relishing the whole love-in thing after nearly a decade of having no access to the PM or cabinet ministers. Heck, even Lisa Raitt is getting into the act. She was answering reporters questions on Parliament Hill today like there was nothing to fear.

The elitists are in the house. So this is what they consider, when they say “Canada is back”? Back in the business of selling access, and peddling influence? Bunch of socialist gangsters!

There won’t be a rule or law that isn’t broken by these Liberal crooks. Those who voted for this group of thieves, should have to pay for them!

There’s no requirement to pay…
It’s a contest. General sweepstakes rules apply.
But I guess being 50% accurate is good enough for the "journalists " here.
With the LIbs I would hazard a guess that if you don’t pay your chances to win fall somewhere about 0%

I would not attend a Liberal CHRISTMAS party
I definitely would because all the food and drink would be free and not funded by the LPC

I always thought that elected members of Parliament were elected to serve the needs of their constituents; that these men and women were the “servants” of the populace! You know, I truly did believe that democracy meant government of the people, by the people, for the people! Another belief dashed to the ground by this manipulative, money-hungry, totalitarian government. The election was held on Oct. 19, 2015, and look at what has happened to this great country of ours in a little over a month! The Prime Minister is ruling by fiat, NOT by Parliament. Parliament has not even met yet, and already billions of dollars have been spent on the say-so of ONE man-boy! I always thought that any monies spent had to be approved by Parliament first. See:
“Under Westminster-style political systems, Parliament has supreme authority over taxation and government spending. This means that the executive (which includes the Prime Minister and the Cabinet) and the public service cannot raise taxes or spend monies without first obtaining Parliament’s explicit approval or authority through a bill known as an appropriation act. This is the case with Canada, which follows the British parliamentary tradition as expressed in the Canadian Constitution and statute law.(1) The specific statute dealing with the granting of spending authority is in the Financial Administration Act (FAA), which states: “no payments shall be made out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund without the authority of Parliament.”(2)

According to the Statutes of Canada, legislation dealing with the spending of public monies must originate in the House of Commons (not in the Senate) and must be initiated by a Minister of the Crown. The role of the House of Commons is to examine and authorize spending legislation – a process that is known as the business of supply. This practice of giving Parliament the power to examine and eventually confirm government requests for spending predates Confederation, but the process has been amended over the years as circumstances have changed."

Brazil = 7th largest economy in the world. Canada = 11th.

But everything is fine. No really. Have to go walk my unicorn now. See ya.

Justin Trudeau promised……LMFAO!!!!! And who’s the bigger idiot that believes Dunce Trudeau???

Dunce Trudeau is going to cheat, steal and lie for four years and financially rape Canada in the process.

Keith – I know the funding came from the UN, but the laundering was through the unions, including the MSM unions for the CBC, a Liberal propaganda machine. I do believe that the Liberals payoffs are being funneled through the unions too, and never underestimate the depths of evil from the Liberals. They don’t govern to help Canadians, they govern to steal for the themselves and their friends. It was a global effort to unseat Harper, but the Liberals were most certainly involved. I believe where there is smoke, there is fire! I don’t trust Liberals at all.

I would not attend a Liberal CHRISTMAS party, even if they were to pay me. Oh come all ye traitors, Sneaky and deceitful, Come ye oh come ye, To witness the end. Canada that is.

DEBORAH GRAUPNER, The Liberals did not get rid of Stephan Harper. This was orchestrated by the UN. In 2014 at a UN meeting, the head of the UN Council stated " You need not be concerned about Harper, Canada has an election in 2015, Harper will not win, we are at this moment organizing this" This was stated quite openly at a meeting concerning Canada and Australia.

If you have not seen any of the video’s put out by Lord Christopher Moncton, one time Economist to the Thatcher Government. I would advise you to do so. Very scare’y but true. He is on Youtube.

There’s a lot of that ‘waking up in a foreign country’ feeling going around these days in Canada.
I can’t believe that all of a sudden people are asking questions like, ‘at what point do we snap’, and ‘should we bring firearms or just pitchforks and burning torches to the next protest at a legislature’, or other seriously troubling questions.
I objectively examine my own anger, hell, it’s rage, and wonder why – why enraged?
And the obvious question goes begging, why aren’t the lefty-citizens up in arms…
If someone or something was trying to divide and conquer, well you’re doing a great job…
How or why has this evil suddenly befallen us, across the board – the Liberals just got ‘elected’ in Newfie/Lab.
To those of you who are driving our country to destruction – politician, bureaucrat or low-information-voter-dupe, just remember this – payback will be a bitch!!!

Marty Ashfield – they will now attack Brad Wall, just like they attacked PM Harper. Every idiot in the country, funded by the UN will go after SK now. Luckily SK is due for a provincial election in the spring, so hopefully Brad will be alright for another term, though I believe we will start to see the attacks on his character, very soon.

Newfoundland voted for stupid and made him the PM of Canada and now they just voted for their own home grown stupid and put him in charge of the province.
I wish Brad would step up and lead the conservatives. It seems like Saskatchewan and Brad are the only sane ones around.

at what point do we snap and begin ‘The Purge’?
isis isn’t the one that will get us.
carbon dioxide emissions aren’t it either.
valdimir has better things to do than start a global thermo-nuclear war. he needs the west to make him look strong.
taxes and liberal double-speak certainly could bring it on. they throw our money down the toilet and pat themselves on the back for doing so.
and demand more money.
I see the next chapter coming, I hear it spoken in whispers at work. I feel it in the air.
one little spark does not a fire make
but one little spark can a fire create.

Remember that the boy isn’t the problem. He’s a pathetic symptom of the problem, as are his handlers. The problem is the irresponsible and dishonest Canadian News Media, and the naive, ignorant sector of the Canadian public.

You can pay them to let you ask a question but unless you ask the right question they still will not answer the question.

Yep…everyone’s right about this being the same old Liberal party always sniffing around your wallet and looking for new ways to vacuum out the contents. But, this version is not just the usual slimy Liberal party that would do anything to stay in power, this new edition is dominated by radical environmental thugs that will direct Mr Stupid’s agenda for the next 4 years. For the first time in Canadian political history, we have a party in power that no longer sees the average Canadian as their employer, but view all of us as liabilities that continue to create problems due to who we are and what we stand for. Many progressives wanted their “old” Canada back during the Harper years. Unfortunately for them and all of us, the Canada that we are getting back under Trudeau is starting to resemble a “frankenstein” version coated in feel good pixi dust.

The corrupt Liberal party of Canada, didn’t take long to show their true colours. I seem to recall that is was the day after the election, when those of us who love Canada, woke up in a foreign country, lead by a narcissistic greedy brat. This is why they worked so hard to get rid of PM Harper. So they could raid the cupboards, and fill their pockets. Just watch the destruction this group of criminals will bring now. It would be poetic justice, if only those that voted for this goof had to pay for all of those expensive payoffs. We know the Liberals never use their own money, but they have no problem ripping off their country, for their own greed.

If you look into eyes of Rube Trudeau in these charming pics, he’s an empty soul.

Boy Trudeau is somewhere else – longing for the days of blowing whistles to round up the campers for the day’s competitions.

Boy Trudeau is just beyond useless – he’d be happier bouncing up and down on a springy bed all day.
