Cadbury removes “Easter” from its halal “whatever” eggs to make Christian holiday sharia compliant

David MenziesMission Specialist

Did you have a happy Easter despite British chocolate maker Cadbury removing the word “Easter” from its Easter eggs? Christians immediately took to the streets, blowing up candy stores and beheading Cadbury executives. Oh wait. No they didn’t.

But social media was abuzz over this slight against Christians and their very important holiday. The war on Christmas isn’t enough, now it’s time to have a war on Easter too?

In response, Cadbury tweeted that they didn’t ban the word “Easter”, just moved the E-word to the back of the package. If you look really, really hard, you’ll find it . . . somewhere.

I went over the wording on the back of the package with a magnifying glass and the word Easter is AWOL. Looks like Cadbury isn’t telling the truth.

Yet, while Cadbury is apparently embarrassed by the E-word, the company isn’t shy at all about the H-word as in “Halal”, foods that are permissible for Muslims to eat or drink under Islamic Sharia law.

Last year, Cadbury received Halal certification for their Easter chocolates. Imagine that, if you can.

Easter on the FRONT of packages for Cadbury Easter Eggs is verboten so they’re now called “Cadbury Milk Chocolate Eggs”, but the company is proud to announce that their “whatever” eggs are Halal certified even though Muslims don’t celebrate Easter.

Got that? Just never mind that Easter is about the resurrection of Christ.

I’d like to see political correctness crucified and witness the resurrection of logic and commons sense.

Maybe next year.

Here’s one from the 80’s. https://youtu.be/KyWWYuBookA No mention of Easter. Was there a war on Easter back in the 80’s?

In the UK Cadbury is the primary non-governmental source of funding for feminist advocacy….another trust fund brat wastrel squandering of a fortune left for philanthropy…sort of like the Ford Foundation….so this is just more of that weird feminist/islamist coalition.

I will never again purchase anything manufactured by Cadbury.

Oh no, not Easter! What is the world coming to? Someone please console me!
commented 2016-04-03 20:38:16 -0400
Well, if it’s not an Easter Egg then I see no need to purchase any. I prefer Genuine Easter Eggs!

Sean “the dullard” Penson said, “Judeo-Chritianity is dead, so why not change a little”

I have mentioned this to you before, Sean, but I think you are too stupid to grasp it, but Christianity is growing.

One must remember, England is not a Christian country any more; it is run, and for a long time has been run, by stupid liberal leftist white people who hate their heritage and loathe their ancestry, and want the muslims to take over and wipe them out. Hence, “Londonstan”, etc.
commented 2016-04-03 17:24:10 -0400
Were there any Muslims that actually gave enough of a shit that the things are called Easter eggs, and wanted Easter to be dropped?

David Tremblay: So if people boycott cadbury they can thank their god and that is what people should do.

I wonder who makes Laura Secord . I’m off to buy Laura Secord chocolate Easter Eggs they are the best”

I worked for them at the head office for 5 years. They are owned by a Quebec company, Leclerc. Leclerc runs a chocolate factory in Quebec, they make a lot of the LS chocolate but not all. Some is made by different suppliers in the US and elsewhere. Leclerc also makes chocolate cookies which you can find in grocery stores. Leclerc/Laura Secord were not Halal certified while I was working there, but that may have changed.

The big thing to look for, for all food and drink products, is the Halal symbol or label. Halal labels usually contain an Arabic symbol, as opposed to the Kosher seal. Sometimes only certain items made by a manufacturer are Halal, so the best (but not perfect) way to tell is to look for the symbols on the package. You can google “Halal marks Canada” to find sample pics of what they look like. Not all Halal certified items are marked, though. There are apps you can use to scan barcodes to tell if an item is Halal or from a Halal supplier. There are also boycott websites listing Halal-certified manufacturers. Note that some or all licensing fees from Halal products go straight to terrorist groups overseas.

What’s wrong with changing to accommodate our new residents? Judeo-Chritianity is dead, so why not change a little

I can see us having no Canadian traditions in ten years, if the Muslim population has anything to do with it. They just keep complaining about being offended and everybody gives in. I’m so tired and angry of this BS

Well I’ll be purging my cupboards of campbell’s soup and there goes the cheez whiz too. Maybe David can provide us a listing of those companies who are on the halal bandwagon. I will definitely be boycotting them! Hitting the bottom line is the only thing that works for companies, that are starting to cater to this BS.

I don’t buy the Cream Eggs anyway. I just have to look at them and gain 10 pounds.

One day our stupid regressives will try to make us abide by the no eating until dusk during Ramadan. I’ll Not be following that as I drink my brew in the afternoon on the weekend. No religious crap affects my life from any of them nor the idiotic kow-towing by our authorities. Halal? Fuck No!! I don’t respect religions where cutting throats is called humane.

Lisa:

Yes, that will surely help. I wish it could happen this year, and dread whatever we will do otherwise.

Had we kept Trudeau out we’d be in much better shape, but if a Republican or Trump running as a third party get into the White House Trudeau will be forced to shape up somewhat or risk relations with the U.S.
I am confident that people will feel the pain of Trudeau’s policies enough to get rid of him quickly. We have to give him a run for his money while he’s in.
Its not that the problem won’t happen in Canada, it is happening but can be mitigated somewhat and the US election will be pivotal in my opinion. like it or not, what they do or don’t do dictates the direction of the free world.

Halal is just another step towards OUR assimilation into Islam, Its Sharia creep, and as Doreen Henschel points out it funds the bad guys. These companies should be taken to task.

Another food manufacturer to no longer buy from.

We certainly wouldn’t want to offend the Muslims, now would we. After all, isn’t it our job to kowtow to them, kiss the ground they walk on?
commented 2016-04-03 14:11:40 -0400
Lisa: Thanks for the comment, but you wrote that the problem won’t happen in Canada if “a few things fall into place.” Please, what could they be?
