Cadbury removes “Easter” from its halal “whatever” eggs to make Christian holiday sharia compliant

David MenziesMission Specialist

Did you have a happy Easter despite British chocolate maker Cadbury removing the word “Easter” from its Easter eggs? Christians immediately took to the streets, blowing up candy stores and beheading Cadbury executives. Oh wait. No they didn’t.

But social media was abuzz over this slight against Christians and their very important holiday. The war on Christmas isn’t enough, now it’s time to have a war on Easter too?

In response, Cadbury tweeted that they didn’t ban the word “Easter”, just moved the E-word to the back of the package. If you look really, really hard, you’ll find it . . . somewhere.

I went over the wording on the back of the package with a magnifying glass and the word Easter is AWOL. Looks like Cadbury isn’t telling the truth.

Yet, while Cadbury is apparently embarrassed by the E-word, the company isn’t shy at all about the H-word as in “Halal”, foods that are permissible for Muslims to eat or drink under Islamic Sharia law.

Last year, Cadbury received Halal certification for their Easter chocolates. Imagine that, if you can.

Easter on the FRONT of packages for Cadbury Easter Eggs is verboten so they’re now called “Cadbury Milk Chocolate Eggs”, but the company is proud to announce that their “whatever” eggs are Halal certified even though Muslims don’t celebrate Easter.

Got that? Just never mind that Easter is about the resurrection of Christ.

I’d like to see political correctness crucified and witness the resurrection of logic and commons sense.

Maybe next year.

It’s just eggaging, right Trudeau?

The deletion of the word “Easter” isn’t the most shocking thing about this. People won’t notice or won’t care about the absence next year as the packaging is virtually identical. Halal means that you are giving a portion of the price you pay to Muslim ‘charities’ like, the Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas, Hizbollah and ISIS. By buying Halal you are funding these groups thereby ensuring YOUR destruction as we are seeing in Europe. I purged my pantry of Campbell’s soup and other items and took them back to Sobey’s to get my money back. I now check every thing I buy, even cosmetics and soap. BTW, Maple Lodge Farms has gone total Halal as it is too expensive to run a non- halal and a separate Halal line. I have informed them that I will not be buying their chicken. MLF sells chicken to restaurants as well. I ask the server where they obtain their chicken to ensure it doesn’t come from MLF.

Evelyn Cooper, yes they are preparing for what they expect to happen, but it hasn’t happened here in Canada yet, and if a few things fall into place it won’t. At this point they are just pissing off their existing customer base. They have already sold out before they have to and should be sent a message.

David Tremblay: I agree, but that’s the point. If income/profit based research motivates these international organizations to logically focus on one subsection of society, then their projections are telling them that the Muslims shall be, and in places already are, the most significant and fast growing potential customer base, so much so that other former, large customer groups are being phased out or dropped. So as Trudeau says all is fine and let’s just be nice and the problem will never reach us, some large Industries are preparing for the opposite based on their objective research.

Cadbury Canada was sold to Kraft some time ago, this is why Chocolate Bars taste like Chocolate flavored plastic.

Cadbury UK probably stopped Easter Egg production years ago.

Pissing off their customer base is more like it.

They are not kow towing to anyone. They are just making a business choice of having a product that they will be able to sell to more customers. I guarantee Cadbury has never given a crap about Easter, they like all corporations only care about maximum profits. The only God big business cares about is the almighty dollar.

I got a smile from some of the comments. So funny these bigoted Muslims. And funny from the egg company. I never really associated Easter Eggs with Easter, just a fad some moron at some chocolate company his pushing.
The Holiday is a far more serious matter, about a broken relationship with God, that God wants to fix, and did so by sending himself Jesus, to die for mankind. Seems to me, the Egg is already out of the basket. Nothing Muslims do can silence Gods message of reconciliation by Jesus through him paying for our sins, so we can simply ask to become a disciple, a friend, a family member.
And If Jesus where hear. he would eat a Easter egg with or without the muslims permission.

If major International Corporations are quickly adjusting both their promotion and especially product content to attract, appease and KowTow to one particular aggressive religious group, perhaps Global Industry has already determined that other societal groups and their traditions and values are soon to be irrelevant; and the West better be with the aggressors and not against them — which we know can be literally suicidal, both physically and it appears economically as well.
But then, this is what European Governments are doing, and North America is right in line.
Who would have thought 20 years ago that Western Culture would consciously annihilate itself and return to the Middle Ages.

Too funny. I spit out my coffee thanks to you!

Creeping sharia. Haven’t bought chocolate for some time, and definitely will be boycotting products from Cadbury. Imagine the violence that would have erupted had this been a slight against Islam? Oh wait, the “Religion Of Peace” doesn’t engage in violence does it? At least that is what the regressives and the lefty trolls on this site insist! No matter. Canada is about to experience the joys (sarcasm intended) of islamism soon thanks to Trudope and the Liebranos!

Who cares??? Stop buying Cadbury products.

Cadbury sells junk food – not quite as bad as cigarettes.

Irene Rosenfeld is Chairman and CEO of Cadbury worldwide, HQ in UK.

You can shove your junk food up your fat ass Irene.

How pathetic. I won’t buy halal anything. Cadbury, never again.

If you want to avoid paying a hidden halal premium at the grocery store, pork will always be a safe bet. And look at the health and life-expectancy benefits; I figure that Easter ham reduced my chances of becoming a suicide bomber to approximately 0%

Yes they did sacrifice easter to political correct marketing and from what I read in UK papers, it was a disastrous and needless PC accommodation – sales are down and there are now boycotts in effect.

Corporations – watch and learn, you have to decide if you are in business or political activism, you can’t be in both and be successful.

Campbell Soup is Halal certified, Cadbury now has banned the word “Easter”
= two line of products to boycott, hit them where it hurts – their profit margin.

(The method used in slaughtering for certification is barbaric, read up on it.)

Hit them where it hurts most, their pockets. Don’t give them any business. Boycott every product which is ‘halal’ certified. Campbell Soups (and it’s subsidiary products: Bolthouse, V8, Pace, etc.) is another company off my shopping list for last 3 years.

Using that mature expression made famous (but hidden by the Media) by our PM-in-Training Justin What’s-His-Name in an address to the House of Commons; Cadbury, “you’re a piece of sh . . .” no, that would be childish and offensive. The OPP would arrest me for that. “Chickenshit” is much better. Thanks Acuuna for the suggestion.
commented 2016-04-03 11:05:56 -0400
Remember to boycott Cadbury next Christmas and Easter. Cadbury can sell to muslims exclusively this way.

greedy chickenshit company. hope they are targeted anyways for bailing out on us.
