Faculty votes to remove Chick-fil-A from campus, compares it to pornography

Professor Thomas Gutierrez was part of the recent faculty academic senate resolution to ban the openly Christian Chick-fil-A from the Cal Poly campus, comparing their “anti-LGBTQ” donations and stance to selling pornography in the campus store. 

Despite the outburst from the faculty, Cal Poly implied that removing the restaurant from its campus would be close to censorship and that students can themselves choose whether or not to purchase.
