Calgary “peace activists” preaching anti-Semitism confronted by JDL — WATCH how police react

Sheila Gunn ReidRebel Host | The Gunn Show

Over the weekend, there was a pro-terror rally in front of Calgary city hall. Can you even imagine? The day after Canada Day in downtown Calgary, there was a rally to celebrate Al Quds Day.

Al Quds Day is firmly rooted in hate. It was declared by the Ayatollah Rohullah Khomeini in 1979, after the Islamic Revolution in Iran, to fall on the last Friday of Ramadan. It's a day to renew the Iranian struggle against Zionism and the state of Israel. When they say renew the “struggle”, what they really mean “reaffirm the radical Islamic commitment to wipe out the state of Israel and to eliminate the Jewish people from the face of the earth”. Genocide is a tougher sell when you say it that way, I guess.

But this hate on the streets of Calgary isn't going unopposed. The Jewish Defence League organized a counter protest, a celebration of freedom and life, to oppose the sour blood libel of the pro-terror crowd.

Watch my video to see our interviews with the people who came to honor Canadian freedom, and my less positive conversations with Calgary police, as well as a local "peace activist" who may be familiar to Rebel viewers.

Geez Sheila, you are involved. I honestly think your presence there kept those degenerates in check. You Rock

It always makes me feel better to know Israel will always kick ass on these fanatics and does not care about being politically correct when it comes to their own defense.

Jay Kelly i see you are deflecting once again. By they way if one of those evil Danish shot a cat in a barrel the MSM would report it and there would be consequences , unlike when Muslims attack Jewish families.

The cop using the word “Impartial” was pretty ridiculous. The CBC was there with noses already brown of course. It is funny how the PEACE ACTIVIST (LMAO) gets all befuddled when someone asks her to prove her point, people like her hate those who are not sheep.

The cop should be relegated to a desk job or at best supervising at Justin Bieber concerts.

Mike Krchnak, no insult intended, but you come on this site to find some little aspect to criticize. You are indeed a troll.

And then you want to have negative responses so that you can respond. You want to have your name and your marker. You have been doing this since the beginning.

The Rebel is intended as a place of discussion and open-mindedness. You just want people to agree with you.

I have to wonder about the blatant apathy among the left. They will simply lie down and die for the Muslim invasion. No loss.
commented 2016-07-04 23:50:41 -0400
If anyone is a troll its you Jay. Stop being so obnoxious.

Jeff Sharpe that is a very depressing story. Canada is quickly becoming unrecognisable. We are no longer safe in our own country, and we can’t expect our police to protect us because they will act only under certain circumstances.

Come on Jay, you know better than that, I am no troll, been on this site since day one. I donate, pay for the shows and love to rial up the opponents of this site, even you, when you make foolish comments as below. I am going no where and news flash…..i don’t comment about myself nor do i seek your or any body else’s admiration. Have a read smart guy. Cheers!

Mike Krchnak, someone recently posted a link on this site about internet trolls — that they are nascisistic, among other things. You should read it.

Oh yes, come to think of it you posted it. You are not quite able to connect the dots.

The Mayor of Calgary is Muslim, so the police will not act against Muslims who promote hate.
When I first came to Alberta I was in Calgary, and there was a demonstration going on I had noticed they had Palestinian flags, but I had no idea what they were all about, I was just waiting for the light to change so I could cross the street, two police officers were standing beside me, one of the demonstrators threatened to kill me, I asked him who are you, I am just waiting for the light to change so I can cross the street. He then called me an infidel dog who must die. The police standing beside me heard what he had said, i then asked the two officers, is it not a criminal offense to threaten someone with death. The individual walked away after i asked the question, the police said the light has changed just go your way.

Yvette Mozel this is indeed an insult to our country and everything we stand for.

Canada expects Arabs to come here because they respect our freedoms and peaceful society. Well that was stupid of us wasn’t it. Instead they spew their hatred. They teach their children from birth to hate. Now our politicians and police are playing both sides of the street and enabling them. They are getting more comfortable and emboldened because they know it is allowed here. There will be blood spilled on our streets, it is just a matter of time.

Why do we allow this crap. Canada has always stood with Israel always! Until Trudeau that is. This is bullsht.

Police – another example of them being the enemy to the truth
commented 2016-07-04 22:32:33 -0400
I’m all for free speech but not when you abuse it with your ideology of hate, terror & death for Jews & that whole bunch of vermin should be booted out of Canada & sent back to Palestine. This is an insult to our country & citizens but it goes on & on and the CBC will always be siding with them.
Dangerous for the rebel to interview the scum bags but not so much for CBC. How can you respect the police after this in your face bias and Sheila, I wish you had been more direct with that woman, who was accusing you of not telling the truth instead of answering your question & you let her get away with it.

Calgary – an islamic city run by an Islamic and inhabited by some pretty bad people – I used to love going there

Will not set foot in that pace now

O, Calgary. Meanwhile, down on 11th Avenue, the “Katten af Tønden” rally took place in March and it went unnoticed by the media (although it did receive some mention in The Rebel). Teaching children to shoot cats in barrels is only one of the barbaric cultural practices these Danish “Canadians” get away with on a regular basis.

EVELYN COOPER , yes, sadly yes you 100% correct. One thing that I should say is that Iranians are very intelligent and hospitable people… and it is Iranian people themselves who are the overwhelming the victim of the ‘revolution’. So there is no need for us to apply very low standards to Iranians. When lefties say “oh well, they are only Iranians, let them practice their primitive behaviour”, this is not right.. this is a type of soft prejudice against Iranians… The low expectations and the al-quds day do no good for anyone….

Love the cop who thinks he must enforce journalistic etiquette – then he spews his indoctrinated crap about “peace keeper” – which is code for the blame-the-victim game if violence is carried out by radicals – you would be guilty of “provoking” these anti-social throwbacks by peacefully exercising your civil rights – the cops will always arrest or charge the non violent victim of these altercations because they are too nutless and too brainwashed in Marxist street politk to defend your civil rights against violence prone assholes. Amd at some level they’re yellow – glocks, armor and all they really are too yellow to act like a cop in front of these radical retards.

This cop was old but still pulling a street duty which means he has failed to clime the command chain (wrong sex and color or wrong politics) so he is only in it for the lush unionized pension buy out at 55 – don’t expect these self-interested drones to protect you when the SHTF – as always you’re on your own in the PC jungle.

Bill Smith: Great comments and observations. Now what elected official (or appointed Judge) anywhere in Canada has the integrity, intelligence and guts to take any action? I can’t see any.

Before 1979, Israel and Iran actually had reasonable relations, considerable contact and cooperation. Iran had a vibrant Jewish community in the not so distant past…. however, in 1979 the ‘revolution’. It’s obvious that only a small percentage of any population could be considered activists, and for the most part, activists are single issue activists… in Iran, they feel that they needed to execute gays, stone political opponents to death, jail journalists among other things.. and no doubt, activists would resist. So what to do??? Iran chose to create the perception of a horrible enemy.. an enemy that is so bad, it eclipses all the abuses of the regime… and bam, ‘al-quds’ day was invented. It’s a simple diversion tactic, a boogie man that could deflect from the regime’s own atrocities.
Keep in-mind, criminal hate is an activity that is likely to cause / inspire a person to commit a crime that they would not have committed otherwise.
Free speech is a valued part of a democracy, but Israelis themselves are the harshest critics of Israel… they surely do not need any help in this department. But al-quds day is not simple free speech. When celebrating a foreign event, one has to see the origin and meaning of the event. In the case of al-quds day, it is invented in Iran, the biggest al-quds event is still in Iran.. sharia law does not permit to make images of living beings.. yet, at al-quds day in Iran, they break their own laws.. they hold art competitions to see who could make the most anti-Semitic poster.. posters so vile that there is not argument that they would be considered illegal in Canada. They and their leaders call for the wiping of Israel off the map, etc….
In Canada it is a little different, al-qud’ers are careful to hide their intentions and try only go so far as they believe Canadians could accept.. and even at that, they commonly misjudge and go beyond.
It would be very fair to say that Canadian al-qud’ers aspire to emulate the world’s most authentic and prominent al-quds event. It’s for this reason that al-quds day needs to be banned in Canada. It is well beyond free speech. We can see the direction that al-quds day leads to. If one wanted to ‘celebrate’ and real authentic al-quds day, it would be criminal hate.
