How the Media Party is manipulating the election campaign — while being manipulated by Justin Trudeau

Ezra LevantRebel Commander

Yesterday I told you about David Cochrane, a government journalist working at Trudeau’s CBC state broadcaster.

Cochrane had spent days on the Liberal campaign bus, but he literally asked no questions for two days — because no reporters on that campaign bus were allowed to ask questions for two days.

What’s the point of being on a campaign bus if you're not allowed to ask questions?

Cochrane humiliated himself on Twitter by defending Trudeau’s silence, and making excuses: Trudeau was really busy; I mean, they were moving really fast, so that explained it. He was so mocked for that comment he deleted that tweet.

Basically, he sounded more or less indistinguishable from a leader's press secretary.

Then came a video clip of him just allowing himself to be treated like a good little puppy being rewarded by his master: Trudeau gives him some free food, and says the Liberals always take care of the CBC.

That video went viral on Twitter — and then it disappeared, too.

But it wasn’t CBC that nuked it, that we know of. Global News did, because they’re the ones who recorded it in the first place — their little logo is on the bottom of the video.

Now, why would Global take down their own video that embarrassed Trudeau — and the CBC — and the cosy relationship between the Liberals and the media...?

Eventually, Global uploaded a version of the clip again — but one shot from a different angle, that made it a bit less obsequious. The full clip, which I'll show you tonight, tells a very different story...

David Cochrane had the best day of his life yesterday, and he didn’t even know that he was being manipulated, laughed at, mocked by Trudeau. It’s that pickup artist move he has:

Trudeau close-hugs, touches, mauls, pats, gropes any women he wants to psychologically dominate. We've shown you this time after time. The latest one is his creepy handsy encounter with 19-year-old tennis champion Bianca Andreescu.

Trudeau does close hugs with men, too. But he didn’t do it right then with Cochrane — his hands were full, and I think there was a barrier between them.

So he used his actions and his words.

Trudeau is psychologically manipulating him, lording it over him, rubbing it in, and Cochrane doesn’t even realize it.

I wonder what the ordinary Canadian thinks? Of Trudeau; but also of Cochrane; and also of Global News trying so, so, hard to hide the whole thing from Canadian voters...

NEXT: Sue-Ann Levy, veteran Sun reporter, joins me to talk more about the election.

Liz Rosie:
I agree 100% regarding how important it is for PPC to get exposure and make a mark in this election. It has to begin somewhere….so now works just fine.I recall numerous people laughing about the Reform Party, when it began and making much jest about Preston Manning’s persona, rather than what the party represented.
Not much different today with the attacks on Max….his handling of English…people he had contact with in the past etc.
Very difficult to make any journey….if the first step is not taken.

I only wish we all could get along only because I live in VancoverQuadra riding, and am made to be ashamed of not supporting Joyce Murray and the Trudeau Liberals. I’ve been living here since the 1965 election, My pension is so little.
Sorry to interrupt , but Vancouver-Quadra is one of the most expensive areas in all Canada. If she lived there since 1965, the average lot is worth 9 million even if she lived in a shack. It is unlikely that she rented for 55 years.

I was away today,so was not able to reply to your earlier statement.“So John, are you comparing the horrors of WWII to the bastard things the Liberals are doing…..”
You really must be thick as a brick.Liz Rosie is correct by asking you : “Peter, just what do you think these globalists final goal is for the west?”
I can only hope that in any important situation….you are in the “rear with the gear” rather than anywhere near the front lines….because many people would suffer because of your blindness.

Speaking of ‘politeness’ Katy Simpson is making the poutine meme all about her. Didn’t they teach these reporters what the Streisand effect was all about? They fall into it every time.
The establishment conservatives are falling all over themselves apologising for a few cheeky remarks. I feel sorry for the loyalists, it must be exhausting saying sorry, sorry, disavow, disavow all the time, and there’s no place in Canada for…. and they are not welcome in our party!
What a stupid game.

And speaking of manipulation, I see (online) over at Constant Trudeau Vision they have rolled out their “Truth Tracker”. Yes, CTV is going to actively participate in the election to make sure no untruths are spread about Dear Leader or the others at pay-pal central.
Thanks to the “Truth Tracker” I am now informed that: RCMP Commissioner Brenda Lucki is not related to Bill Morneau. Wow, who duh thunk! Thank CTV, you’re the best..

Why? Seriously?

I mean, I can think of 600 million reason$ why….

Harper got us through some tough times and had the respect of many and for good reason, that’s for sure. But many of Harper’s moves have put us where we are today. He knew what the future was bringing to the west, way back in 2004. He was trying to ease us into it gently, but he placed Canada for the fall. In many ways. But beside Trudeau Harper looks like a god to Justin’s clown show.

Harper wasn’t a pathetic leader. He had a quiet dignity and was a statesman, compared to that feminist UN puppet that we currently have. Anyone who was hounded and demonized publicly by the MSM and the union goons like he was, deserves a medal! Our country certainly wouldn’t be on the road to Marxist hell if he was still our PM!

ALBERTANS FIRST: Totally agree, Scheers’ babbling about CO2 is cause for concern, I hope we end up with a coalition of PPC/PC….Maxime will hold Scheers’ feet to the fire, lest an opportunity be frittered away (like Harper, walking on eggshells, a pathetic leader)

Peter just what do you think these globalists final goal is for the west?

War is a dirty business. Canadians are too soft and don’t know how to do what needs to be done anymore.

We didn’t make the rules for this PC environment, the Marxists did. The want to ‘quell’ us. They want us to shrink, they don’t care if its out of fear or out of politeness. That there is an out and out backlash is no surprise to me. Politeness is a two way street. Most civilized people don’t spit or resort to violence in retaliation and I believe that conservatives are civilized people, but words are fair game. So is calling someone out for being a fraud and a trouble making troll,
I respect your opinion on this and other things Peter, but completely disregard it , in this instance. No hard feelings.
commented 2019-09-18 13:35:02 -0400
Liz asked me, “As for ‘our image’ as conservatives, do you mean in the mind of a prog liberal and everyone left of them?”

No, principles of politeness and honesty exist independent of verification from others. Image is irrelevant.
commented 2019-09-18 13:26:46 -0400
So, John, are you comparing the horrors of WWII to the bastard things the Liberals are doing today to those of the political Right?

If you think it is okay to suspend your moral guidelines because of the horrible things the Liberals are doing now, then have at’er.
commented 2019-09-18 13:20:51 -0400
I do not and will not entrust any of those traditional parties with the future of my country.
It has to be different this time, maybe only as the balance of power, but a step in the right direction so that not only will the PPC vote matter for something in the House, but in another 4 years the country maybe has a shot. We have to do something different this time. That’s what we can do.

I agree.I suspect Trudeau will bring his worst/best drama queen persona to the debates.

- The Cochrane video is a perfect symbolism of the Liberal party / media party relationship at this point. The idiot man-child & his lapdog.

- I never thought Scheer was bad. I just think he’s weak. He caves way too easily on just about everything.

Stephen Hicken, Bernier is aware of how Justin debates, and hopefully equips himself with his full lung capacity, whit and knowledge to beat down Justin’s squawking and get his message across. I don’t think we can count on the moderators for squat. Time will tell.
Before that though, he will be in Hamilton with Dave Rubin on Sept. 29. I imagine it will be well attended and well viewed on youtube after, or hopefully it will be properly live streamed.

Peter, she/he is here to troll. I wasn’t sure with her ‘entrance post’ but anyone who says(as she did in another thread) that Trudeau is deserving of our respect, is paid for. As you say, so what? I am sure she won’t be the last. I agree with the Duke, this is no time for ‘polite’. As for ‘our image’ as conservatives, do you mean in the mind of a prog liberal and everyone left of them? That’s funny.

They don’t say conservatives don’t know how to fight for nothing.

I like Peter and he has a right to conduct him self anyway he chooses, but I don’t think anyone is in the mood these days to be lectured on ‘decorum’.
Isn’t that how this started? ‘Lock her up’ and the everyone made such a fuss about it. ‘Oh how terrible those bad conservatives’, while they call us white supremacist, racist, bigots, all the phobes, isms and ists, sewer rats and those who ‘lie with pigs’ .
Nah, the gloves are off. There is only one way to deal with bullies, especially bullies who are dirty fighters. Having said that, the really stupid ones like Wick and Kelly really are better off ignored when at all possible, but that’s just my personal opinion.

Peter Netterville:
I would say one last thing to your statement “Must conservatives give up that which defines them as conservatives in order to preserve conservatism.”
If my father were still alive,he would answer you.I will answer in his place…..
In WWII he and his brothers in arms fought and killed enemy combatants to (hopefully) preserve a way of life.In “normal” life he did not kill, maim or injure anyone.
He told me that he “suspended” his moral guidelines because there was a horrible, unthinkable job to be done and if it were not done….his way of life would disappear. After WWII,he returned to his former moral code.He spoke very little about the war…..but he did tell me that much.

In the first debate with all parties I’m thinking Max will not get too many words in. They will talk over him , and berate him to the point where he says one word and allhell breaks loose

After reading Ezra’s opinion piece in The Globe and Mail – in which he argues that freedom of the press is for all media, including The Rebel – I as a freelance journalist decided to support him in that and so posted the following statement on the New Brunswick’s Newschasers group Facebook page.

Here is a copy of that post. I would suggest everyone who thinks The Rebel should enjoy the same freedoms as other media in our country post something similar on their social media.

Love him or hate him, Rebel News publisher Ezra Levant is bang on with his comments on censorship.

Canada is a country with freedom of the press. It is completely inappropriate for government agencies and departments in Canada to deny media access solely on the basis of their political views.

If a media outlet reports inaccurately – maybe even on purpose – then there are libel and defamation laws to address that.

But for a government to decide ahead of time that certain journalists simply aren’t nice enough to play in the same pool as the others is absurd. And it makes a mockery of Canadian press freedoms.

All journalists should stand up for The Rebel Media’s right to be present at government press conferences and ask their questions.

It’s a matter of principle. Either we stand up for this principle or we simply admit we don’t have any.

I admit it is possible the Ginger is a “Trojan Horse”, but so what?

Some of the defining characteristics of conservatives is to be polite, honest and treat others with respect.

Must conservatives give up that which defines them as conservatives in order to preserve conservatism?

Nevertheless, this subject has been exhausted. No more needs to be said. Be as vicious as you like, mine was only a suggestion, not a directive.
commented 2019-09-18 09:12:14 -0400
“Have you never heard of a Trojan Horse or variations thereof?”

Agreed, Ginger’s posting from another article, reads like Penson:

Ginger Attiker commented 12 hours ago
“In general, the media has been fair this election, though there may be a tinge of bias against non-Liberals.
Whether we like it or not, the centre left will always garner a strong percentage of the media and general voting public.
We can only hope and pray, if Mr. Trudeau is re-elected, that he mends his ways for the betterment of Canada.”

“Until then,I advise not to fall into emotional traps. "

That is an odd thing for you to say when it is your comments that are laced with emotion and mine are not.

A wee bit of projection, John?

“Sorry Peter…..stuff it.”

Nope. Ain’t gonna do it.

“If you do not understand the present movement against conservatism….then you have a problem.”

Not sure how you extrapolated that from my comments, but none the less, I stand by my original comment … some of you people are vicious jackals.

“Do you not find the timing very convenient for someone of Ginger Attiker’s ilk to appear on Rebel?”

Her “ilk”? So, what is her “ilk”? A person why is not a vicious jackal?

You should consider taking a Valium, you are way too hyper … possibly down the bottle.

Do you not find the timing very convenient for someone of Ginger Attiker’s ilk to appear on Rebel? What do you think the purpose of Saint Greta of Thunberg is?
