Yellow Vest Canadians protest against UN Global Compact for Migration

Keean BexteRebel Contributor

This weekend, protesters across the country gathered to fight against Justin Trudeau and his support for the UN Global Compact for Migration

This plan has caused chaos around the world. The ruling coalition in Belgium is now in tatters after Prime Minister Charles Michael lost support from the N-VA party over his plan to sign the compact.

That's just one country that's joining the growing list of European nations who are saying no to this globalist compact. Outside of Europe, the United States, Israel, and Australia are all against the compact, but Canada remains one of the few countries that has seen little opposition from its political establishment.

In nearly every major city in Canada protests are being staged. I went to one of these protests, in Calgary, to see what has gotten Canadians so riled up.

I also spoke to some of the tiny number of leftists who also came out, as counter-protesters. You’ll notice that neither of these young women had read the Global Migration Compact, whereas the folks on the other side were very familiar with its contents.

Alberta Maga, for sure, I agree, but it should have only been a stop gap solution and should have brought about a better ,‘for Canada’ solution of putting Canadians to work and training for future need in years to come. The temp workers program is still used as a pathway to citizenship, and that was not supposed to be its purpose and was never discussed when it was first rolled out. “Not enough people wanted the jobs.” is a strong signal that our safety net is too big.
Its all mute now anyway with a UN run country, open borders and the term migrant being synonymous with citizen.

Harper was a soft globalist. He still is. He pushed for trade deals for the flow of goods with little overt talk about the flow of humans, but that temp worker program for example was not rolled out entirely honestly. Harper and Kenney knew what they were doing.

NDP sucks, I absolutely agree that Chong and Brown, are cino’s. I guess there is no way Alexander would be saying that out loud if he were still an MP. He is a cuck liberal lite in or out of the government. I hope to hell that Scheer means what he says and will pull us out of this compact like he says he will, if he gets in.
Say what you will about Bernier, but he is not liberal lite.

William Kay sorry if i offended you , was not my intent.
commented 2018-12-11 17:02:15 -0500
Liza Rosie in some cases they were a needed evil, though they did bring in far too many.
At one point in Alberta they were screaming and begging for workers and not enough people wanted the jobs.

William Kay your comment echoed what unions were saying at the time. I worked in the industry at the time and some projects needed different workers or the union would not let them happen with unreasonable demands. Not all Canadians were willing to go away from home for months on end. And Harper was not Globalist. Also these temps were here with conditions , not immediate welfare and citizenship like Justin is doing. I agree the CPC is ruined now. I also will no give Kenney a cent since they crapped on the soldiers of Odin.
However he is light years better than Notley.

Liza. Who says Alexander is a conservative? He was defeated and is now a private citizen who can say what he wants. Haven’t there been enough examples of pretend conservatives in the past? How about Michael Chong and Patrick Brown as a couple of examples? I won’t even get into Bernier LOL.

The drums of Alberta separation are growing stronger and stronger,I’m an Albertan first and I say the time has come to go it alone!! Trudeau has and continues to destroy Canada our province doesn’t need to be dragged down with his Islamic post national state.FU Trudeau you UN bitch!!

Jamie… except for your point on the protest occurring on weekday’s. In France they have them recurring on Saturday’s and seem to be doing pretty well, at least they were until the UN army rolled their tanks into town. Think of it, UN tanks were deployed after the firemen, ambulance and police all started defying Macron.

Jamie MacMaster, damn good advice.

Speaking of cucks, let me present Chris Alexander,( former immigration minister) and huge globalist.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ceNRrkXaQE8
Does he really think contradicting Scheer at this point identifies him as anything but the rot in the CPP? What a twit. “nothing to be afraid of here”. He says Scheer has had bad advice in raising the alarm on the global compact agreement and Canadians know that we should be embracing it.

Damn, I was just starting to waffle about who I should vote for next year, in order to get rid of justin, but Alexander has just reminded me why I distrust the CPP so much. What a putz, he is no conservative in my opinion. Its conservatives like Alexander who have split the vote.

Leave off Keenan. William, Kenney is the ONLY choice for Alberta. What the hell is that province going to do if the witch stays in? Having said that, I agree with you about Kenney. I wrote him years ago complaining about his policies surrounding temp workers and immigration. The temp worker program is just another excuse to put Canadians out of work because it is never temporary. Canada needs to train Canadians and companies need to take some responsibility in that. I fear he is a globalist and more or less stands with the liberals on that. He needs to be checked but he is all Alberta has to work with right now. The witch offers nothing.

Alberta MAGA
That’s a fine bit of economic research. Then, you pivot and accuse me of being a union dupe, again without a scintilla of evidence. None of which dents the over-riding hypocrisy of Keean posing as an Immigration resister when he is a fully paid-up activist-member of two political parties that are as pro-globalisation, pro-immigration as Justin Trudeau. He’s scraping around for some sensationalist cause he doesn’t understand and is capable of sincere commitment to. He’s Kenney’s boy, all the way.

National Citizens Alliance (Stephen Garvey) did a protest rally at Churchill Square in Edmonton on Saturday 8 Dec. About 200 showed up. Global and CBC were there. No Antifa that I noticed and I was looking around.

Three members of the Soldiers of Odin appeared near the end of the activity and Global made a big deal out of that and posted a photo of their jackets that have the SOO insignia and of course their links to white supremacy rooted with the creator of the group from Finland. This is total nonsense as the Edmonton chapter actually patrol the streets and help people who are starving and have the nerve to oppose Justin’s immigration policy to the detriment of Canadians who are looking for work.

National Citizens Alliance are doing a repeat performance on Saturday 15 December at the same location. Baby it was cold out there but it could have been much worse.

Amazing the counter protesters never read the documents ,but know its wrong to be against the GCM.

“This weekend, protesters across the country …”

Advice:

For a protest to be effective, it must gather headlines. To make BIG headlines (the only type politicians notice) , it must (a) occur on w weekday, and (b) cause significant disruption.

If i do not work on Saturday i think i will head down there.
commented 2018-12-11 01:56:27 -0500
William Kay my wages never went down during that time and many were needed for projects at the time, and in some cases unions held projects hostage. Your comment seems like union rhetoric.

Jason Kenney was Immigration Minister (2008-13) then Employment/Multiculturalism Minister (2013-5). During this period Canada had the world’s most open borders! Kenney oversaw the Temporary Workers program where:
a) thousands of companies refused to even look at application forms from Canadian citizens; and
b) claimed there were no Canadians available for the jobs; and
c) replaced entire staffs, including managerial positions, with foreign Temps; and even
d) forced Canadians to train their replacements before firing them.
Kenney brought in around 500,000 Temps. None were allowed to leave their designated jobs. If they got fired. They got deported.
Under Harper/Kenney 2.25 million immigrants arrived; on top of the Temps. Harper freely admits (read his latest book) this was done to lower wages Canadians wages.
Isn’t it hypocritical of Keean to appear so concerned about immigration while slavishly supporting Master Kenney?

Great report Keegan! Although, no offense, but I think you have to admit its getting easier and easier for the rebels to beat the state media when it comes to telling the real news while they run to their state funded safe spaces. Don’t be too hard on the girls rebels, they are just poor misguided souls from the sugar coated glaze covering the harsh reality that’s being put on the information they are being fed.

What else would you expect from these two with bull rings in their nostrils & they dare call the anti compact protesters zenophobic & extreme right & making distorted comments. What a laugh!
Good intelligent comments in the other interviews. It’s no wonder Trudeau got
elected by such people who never lead in anything, but simply follow the sheep crowd because they don’t know better & don’t mind being brainwashed.

I wish I had a yellow vest. I’d wear it wherever I go to show solidarity with the French citizens who have had enough of the elitist pigs. We must PUSH back against these unelected bureaucrats and their hands up the butts of our political hand puppets.

The sooner Canadians wake up, the better.

WHY DIDN’T YOU ASK THOSE 2 HOW MANY MIGRANTS DO YOU WANT ME TO DROP OFF AT HOME SO YOU CAN TAKE CARE OF THEM
commented 2018-12-10 19:50:51 -0500
Not having read the document or become familiar with its content says it all with the two counter-protestors.
commented 2018-12-10 19:45:26 -0500
“It’s about helping people”. What it’s really about is Destabilizing Nations! As if the government really cares about helping people. Yep, that’s why Trudeau wants to bring all this migrants because he really cares about them. He knows they will not assimilate. What they will do is cause chaos and he knows it and we know it!

I just watched on YouTube the protest in Ottawa which was quite peaceful with good speakers addressing the crowd. Then the masked Antifa crowd showed up and the violence and inane chanting started.

Next, i looked up CTV’s coverage from Saturday night. It started out with the announcer saying “Far right protest against migration turns violent” The screen then showed a bunch of masked thugs fighting with police. They then interviewed one angry anti migration protester and then a very calm pro immigration woman. There was no mention of Antifa or a pro immigration group involved in any protest.

The media are definitely earning their $595,000,000.
