Peter, I think you are reading too much into Daniel’s comments. Nixon was the only president to resign in face of impeachment. There have been lots of nefarious deeds done by democrats ( ahem, Clinton) but none were forced out.

He is just stating that what Justin is accused of got Nixon turfed. It is a warning and reminder.

$30,000 on porn strippers and hookers? Man, the guy must be an addict! Too bad that’s not the most concerning thing about Ghadafi’s son being ‘entertained’ in Quebec.

Day after day, week after week, year after year, trotting out crime after scandal after treason after stupidity of Jihadi-Justin-Groper and his LPC clown show…don’t you guys at THEREBEL ever get bored with it?
Because I sure don’t get bored reading about it all…

Robert.!!!! I watch that and I am JUST
gob-smacked.!!! I cannot believe that his cabinet ministers or his MPs are rallying around him after the unmistakeable display of arrogance and distance from anything sane, rational or reasonable in his reply to Michelle Rempel‘s accusatory statement.!! This is a clear case of sexual misconduct and everybody including his people know it.! They must understand that the longer they stay in support of this thing, history will not reflect well on them… any of them that supported Trudo all the way into his self created self perpetuating career ending event, their own integrity may be called into question down the road whether they knew what he was doing or not.!! How can this be tolerated even this far… I think the media was a little premature saying that the opposition was premature calling for his resignation… Soon they may be calling for his head.!!

In fairness to Trudeau, I don’t think he intended to answer the question about the payments to the hookers, he was merely repeating his well rehearsed lines to avoid making a real response to the question. In this case, it ended badly for him.
This is what happens when you are not that bright and you rely on pre-prepared talking points during Question Period.

What would Trudeau have done if PM Harper was behind this scandal? Do you think Trudeau would just sit back and shrug it off? No chance. This bandit would have gone into conniptions and suffered a stroke from how loud he would have been screaming at Harper for his “crimes against Canada”.
Trudeau is the poster-child for hypocrisy. Talk about a wolf in sheep’s clothing.

This is great reporting Sheila. You are the necessary chemotherapy for the terribly mestastasized stage 4 cancer called the Federal Liberal Party. Keep up the great work.

JANIE JONES , I have one word -——— CRIMINISTER!

CBC keeps us well informed during hurricane season , it’s a Cat 3 ,now it’s a Cat 4 . Upgrade and downgrade by the minute.
Yesterday their on screen graphic categorized this sordid criminal affair as SNC-LAVALIN CONTROVERSY. Well isn’t that British understatement.
I wonder if the might upgrade it to SCANDAL or CRISIS today. I doubt it.
Just an example of how biased and twisted even the nuances are at the state broadcaster.

Al Peterson said, “Peter, I think you are reading too much into Daniel’s comments.”

That could very well be. It wouldn’t be the first I have done that.

Andrew Stephenson i agree with you, she could have taken the easy way out and sold herself for political gain and position but she kept her integrity.

JWR = future PM. Probably the most honest politician Canada’s seen in decades.

He won’t get prison, in fact he’ll never get prison… No… the worst he might see but I doubt it is political exile, however he will continue travelling both nationally and internationally living a great post political life on taxpayer money and speaking engagements for those dumb enough to pay to listen to him.

Watch Marc Garneau standing in the background grinning like a Cheshire Cat. He knows he’s likely next in line after the DoHH!!!…-phin starts his prison sentence. Hitler agrees!

I wonder if the “feminist” is OK with SNC paying 30,000 dollars on prostitutes for Kadaffi’s son while in Canada ?

So true, Sheila. Libranos only care about themselves and their racket. It’s much like The Party, starring Peter Sellers, when a woman refused a producer’s sexual advances and was blackballed from ever working in Hollywood again. These Libranos work the same way.

“They speak mere words,
With worthless oaths they make covenants;
A judgement sprouts like poisonous weeds in the summer field”.

Hosea 4

“Declare a holy fast;
call a sacred assembly.
Summon the elders
and all who live in the land
to the house of the Lord your God,
and cry out to the Lord.
15 Alas for that day!
For the day of the Lord is near;
it will come like destruction from the Almighty”

Joel 1

It is fascinating, Daniel, that with all the plethora of Democrats who have obstructed justice, you choose from the very few Republicans as an example of obstruction of justice.

Obvious where your bent is oriented.

interesting to remember:
President Nixon was forced to resign because he obstructed justice, and about a dozen members of his administration went to prison for it, and without the pardon he got from President Ford is it almost certain Nixon would have been sent to prison too. Fooling around with the system of justice is no joke in a democracy.
