Canadians must reject Bill C-69 to “retain importance” in oil and gas industry

Keean BexteRebel Contributor

The Global Petroleum Show in Calgary, Alberta showcases leading industry technology developed both in Canada and abroad.

It happens annually, however this year it is occurring in the shadow of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's impending legislation, Bill C-69, which is aimed at overhauling how pipelines and similar projects are assessed for their impact on the environment.

Given the existential threat that this legislation poses to Canada's energy industry, what has been dubbed “Canada's largest ever pro-oil and gas rally” happened this Tuesday right outside of the show. Speakers from Alberta and beyond including Saskatchewn Premier Scott Moe talked about getting Canada's energy industry back on track.

You can see in the video how many people attended this popular rally! Surprisingly, (or perhaps not so much) organizers reported that the there were no counter demonstrators on scene.

You really need to be able to provide technological innovation to the rest of the world. Amen. How can we be demonized when we’re saving the planet?

Justin Trudeau was “placed” as Prime Minister of Canada, thru election fraud, anti-Conservative searches on Google, coaching by O’Bama, George Soros, etc.

I just don’t have time right now to post the links to backup my comments, but search “Lord Moncton speech to the Australian Conservative Club in 2016” the one where he states that the Globalists are going to replace Stephen Harper with someone who WILL sign Canada into the Paris Treaty Accord! I was curious for more info. on this & I found an interview with Lord Moncton where he said the same thing! Now, these interviews & speeches were BEFORE the fall election!

Add in the photos of O’Bama & Trudeau at that deli restaurant in Montreal, the utter incompetence of Trudeau & Freeland in negotiating the new NAFTA, the Carbon Tax, the illegal immigration problem where virtually no-one gets vetted, the “diversity is our strength” BS, and so on and so on!

Trudeau is trying to do to Canada, what O’Bama did to the USA in his term in power!

Trudeau & his Liberals are trying to govern based on “feelings”, instead of Common Sense & you can’t run a successful business or Gov’t on “feelings”!

BUT, we here in Canada have no-one even close to Donald J Trump to rescue us & even if we found someone, there is no Electoral College based system as in the USA to get him elected!

The longer that Trudeau is permitted to continue on as Canada’s Great Dictator, the more he will ignore the wish of the people.
He needs to be stopped…Now.
If left alone he will destroy Canada completely and the Canadian people with it. His goal is a senior position in the UN and from there he will work to become the ‘One Leader’ that Globalism dreams of….One World, One Leader, No borders…….No civilized people.

All those Premiers representing all those Canadians including a large number of the Aboriginal community who want jobs and self sufficiency, ignoring Senators second sober thought, Justin is ignoring everybody. This bill has the potential to affect all mining in Canada as well. Do they want to bring the country to a stand still? (dumb question, Uncle Soso is in the background rubbing his hands together) And yet Trudeau stands up in the House and rhymes off all sorts numbers from fabricated and manipulated stats trying to convince Canadians that we are all employed and prospering.

Justin called the Premiers reporting of concerns of national alienation, threats. We must be ‘quelled’ , We are not allowed to complain or question. Its the new rules based international order, Freeland says is under threat for the first time since the second world war. These people are despicable.

Canadians do reject C69, but it is the overlords of the Laurentien Empire that don’t. And they hold the power.

Archie Bunker always used to call his hippy dippy socialist son in law “Meat Head”-sounds like a good handle for the two trolls.

Hey all knowing Andrew, what would happen if yourself and wee wick John went and played on the freeway?
Or maybe do some bobbing for French fries, anything but posting idiocies on this site.
We can all only hope…sigh.

I find it hilarious when lefty/socialist’s don’t get their way-full blown tantrums, excessive screaming and yelling obscenities. They act like that kid at the store that can’t have a candy or when Trudeau can’t have 40 bottles of liquor on his flights!!

Keith Barnes,

If we are going to die? LOL. Don’t be too overdramatic there, skippy. Even if Trudeau is re-elected, you won’t be forced to bow down to your Islamic overlords and Canada will be just fine.

It’s hilarious how extreme conservatives think Canada will be DOOOOMED if things don’t go their way.

IEA, which tends to be rather optimistic about oil demand, says now that 3mbpd of new supply coming online in the next year, demand up by only 1mpbd. The glut’s getting bad again, prices dropping, OPEC conveniently had a tanker torched the day after prices dropped 5% in the midst of one of the worst quarters for the energy sector in a decade.

What happens if Alberta’s woes aren’t due to regulation, but rather lack of demand and/or economic viability for its oil? WTI at 50, WCS normally about 10 dollars less, but the projects needed 60-80.

Is Alberta’s oilpatch destined to be the new West Virginia coal sector?

Say NO to Trudeau the Weasel, killer of Canada’s oil industry and and the white race.
Say YES to Maxime Bernier, killer of Trudeau’s evil Liberalism and political Weasels.
Vote for Mad Max regardless of what the polls show….If we are going to die, at least let us die fighting for what is ‘Right’.

That delegate from India said it-Canada needs to exploit its expertise, however we have a stubborn child as PM that doesn’t see it that way. As far as I know the liberals shot down over half of the recommendations to C-69 yesterday. If Trudeau doesn’t fix C-69 and remove the tanker ban that is a clear signal to the west.Spencer Fernando also reported that Trudeau has pulled the contracts for the icebreakers to be built in BC and has instead decided to give the contract to Quebec.Once again Trudeau craps on the west, wake up BC Trudeau isn’t your buddy!!
