A U.S.-funded group of environmentalist lawyers in Canada called EcoJustice has filed a complaint with the Competition Bureau demanding they investigate people who are skeptical of the theory of manmade global warming.
What on earth does the Competition Bureau have to say about whether people can disagree about global warming?
What kind of authoritarian bullies run to the government to try to get their opponents censored?
Look who they're going after:
Some home-made style billboards put up by the group Friends of Science. Just a few old-timers in Calgary, some engineers, scientists, professors.
They put up some billboards with some very simple messages. Like “The Sun is the main driver of climate change" and "Climate change your mind."
That’s what EcoJustice is after: A few low-budget billboards.
In their complaint, they say:
"Either a finding of criminal guilt or reviewable conduct would demonstrate that climate science misrepresentations are contrary to law and harmful.”
This isn’t just that crackpot David Suzuki. He’s always demanding people be thrown in jail. This is Ecojustice, a leftist law firm.
They claim to be acting in the name of six complainants, including Stephen Lewis, the socialist millionaire, former diplomat, father of socialist Avi Lewis and father in law of Naomi Klein.
EcoJustice is also a registered CRA charity.
They launder their political attack money through a charitable number. $5.8 million of it last year.
Could you imagine if anyone tried to sue David Suzuki into silence?
