Canadian cop “was really charged with stating ‘hate facts’” about First Nations and alcohol

Gavin McInnesArchive

A police officer named Sgt. Chris Hrnchiar is being called a "racist" for his comments about the death of an Inuit artist in Ottawa. He has worked this "beat" for a long time, and frankly, his remarks about alcoholism and First Nations people sounded like common sense based on his professional observations.

Steven Sailer has said that, "Political correctness is a war on noticing" and that's what going on here.

There's no hope for us if the police, who we hire to fix problems, are being punished for noticing problems.

In the old days before regressive diversity, this woman would be on the “indian list” and not be serves at liquor outlets – might have saved her life – but I see that motive is secondary to virtuous public masturbating by cultural Marxists.

This police sergeant should never have posted those comments in the first place, unless he was being interviewed or giving his professional opinion, officially.
Why he’s being charged, though, doesn’t fit the crime. His statement(s) was simply not appropriate (because he was not speaking in an official capacity), but not racist.
Where are we all headed on this big brother stuff? Too many futuristic movies influencing reality.

In these times you are a racist if you disagree with a progressive point of view
commented 2016-11-02 18:00:03 -0400
Gavin it’s only “racist” if you remind deluded diversity warriors their stereotypes do not match realities

There is an inquest starting to find out why native girls commit suicide in some reservers. Its simple; studies show the high degree of both physical and sexual abuse by First Nations against their own children. Alcohol is part of it, social structure the another component. But somehow it is the fault of white society. Yea. Right.

When the inquest into disappeared and murdered Native women started, the solution rate for murdered Native women was 89%. For non-Natives the solution rate was 88%. Still, it was all because of non-Natives. Most of the women were killed by family, friends and members of their own community. 15% of those murdered were killed by strangers and people know to them but not necessarily friends.

But quoting these published facts, especially to a SJW, is racist.

DJO mentions fetal alcohol syndrome apparent in first nations communities…. Having worked as a public information officer for the B.C. Ministry of Family and Child Service many decades ago, I can attest that was the case in the late 70s… Native kids put up for adoption, but suffering from FAS, was rampant… And nobody is serving Canadian society as a whole by denying that is still the case…

Boy, they sure are a’comin’ after us White folk…
…but I guess ‘they’ have deemed it racist to even think that now, let alone say it.

You fooled me MAURICE.
I thought your story was heading to the point where they threw out the pilot. ;)

Alcoholism isn’t as pronounced in the Metis community as it is with reservation first nations people but it is a problem with some Metis; not for me anymore but it was when I was younger. But it’s an ongoing problem with many first nations people, particularly in northern communities. I recall one occasion where several members from an isolated northern reserve were flying home by float plane from a shopping and hunting trip to the “big city” (Smithers, BC) and the plane was overweight. They had three piles of cargo; groceries for the community, hunting equipment, and, booze. The first thing they jettisoned was the groceries. When that wasn’t enough, the next thing to go was the hunting equipment. So they flew back to the reserve with the booze, and chartered another plane to fly in the groceries and hunting equipment in at a later date. To deny the problem exists is to refuse to address the problem, and it’s the native communities that suffer for it.

It ain’t hate speech if it’s true… He should plead not guilty he with support from obvious facts towards the case.

Nothing will be done until JESUS CHRIST returns , until then we of all tribes and families are going to prove that man cannot rule over man

Each of the posts below speak volumes & I wholeheartedly agree with them all. I would just like to add that I know a few people who have worked in some of those communities & the stories they tell & the money spent by the gov’t is over the top & almost unbelievable, but sadly the truth. The gov’t is not interested in zeroing in on the problems, that would make too much sense, instead donate more money & nothing is ever solved.

The Indian act has to be repealed and these Canadians have to be allowed to enjoy all the rights and freedoms enjoyed by the rest of us. The sense of despair on these reserves is felt by most, but trying to remove booze from these reserves has only resulted in death by suicide or sniffing gasoline. Take the billions of dollars thrown at a failed solution and use them to integrate these PEOPLE into society through education opportunities and job prospects. Appeasing totalitarian chiefs and government workers in Indian Affairs has failed miserably while leaving the regular residents addicted

Latte sipping liberals really need to get out of their centre-of-the-universe cities and see what the rest of Canada is really like. Infantilizing natives as some sort of noble savages victimized by the white man, whilst hurting them by removing financial transparency for Federal funds is not unlike what the US Democrats have done to ghettoized blacks in their country. I’ve been in many of these communities over the years; to say alcohol is a problem is an understatement. Fetal alchohol syndrome is egregiously common in these communities, and where they can’t get alcohol they drink hairspray or anti-freeze or whatever is available often with tragic and mortal results. Most of these liberal asshats would pee their pants if they were to spend a week in these communities who really do need ACTUAL help, which can only start when we openly and honestly identify the problem without idiotic PC deflections about racism. If anything, the status quo is racist.

He should have plead not guilty, but maybe he is the the test case to set precedent for the liberal legal system. Why else would he plead guilty for speaking the truth?

The liberal’s are the scum of the earth!

Liberals are like the SJW’s, creating their own politically correct world with their own politically correct laws. To charge a police officer over what he said is a disgrace. People may start voting with their feet if this continues. If you think Ontario has become a have-not province now. Just wait until the Liberals are done with it.
commented 2016-11-02 12:12:38 -0400
The only thing this officer is guilty of is poor taste it seems, but these days that’s enough. It’s going to be a long old fight for everyday Canadians to put things right after the Liberals get done with taking our freedom of speech back to the stone age, and don’t look for any help from the opposition (Conservatives or NDP) because if they do they will get none of the new Carbon Tax cash grab they are about to perpetrate on the Canadian taxpayer, what fools we Canadians have become.
commented 2016-11-02 11:59:42 -0400
I guess, not selling alcohol to natives would be racist!

I am afraid “no hope” is exactly correct. The liberals are getting crazier and common sense is nowhere to be found. It is too bad the young voters cannot see past Trudeau’s hair and selfies!

According to today’s Ottawa Sun, he has entered a guilty plea to the Police Services Act charges.

That’s a Pity.
