LIZA ROSIE commented: “We already have laws which make it unlawful to incite violence against people.
We already have laws which allow everyone the right to religious freedom.
Just say no to m-103.”

I agree. I am withholding any financial support for the Conservatives until I see who finally makes it and their policies and commitments. Some like Michael Chong, are truly frightening! I like Trost, Leitch and Lemiex with reservations. I am leery of another Quebec PM, say one thing but do another once in power. Kellie is saying some things that are correct, however stamina to actually deliver? Trost? Doubtful easterners would ever support a PM originating from the West! Under PM Harper, it was a no brainer for support. I still think western separation is a better course. Distance ourselves from the rats in the east! Once the dictraitor ’lil spud imposes his Sharia dictatorship, there will be no elections anyways!

So Bernier is voting no on the blasphemy law, m-103 UNLESS there are amendments made to remove the word Islamphobia.
We already have laws which make it unlawful to incite violence on people.
We already have laws which allow everyone the right to freedom of religion.
So Maxine, why would you want to have a law that will tell us what is and is not free speech. Free speech is defined by the words free and speech. There are no buts.
Allowing m-103 to move into law would be redundant, as well as opening a platform to be filled in at as required at later dates. We do not need free speech laws in Canada. Period.

We already have laws which make it unlawful to incite violence against people.
We already have laws which allow everyone the right to religious freedom.
Just say no to m-103.

FYI, there are only a few more weeks for anyone who hasn’t already joined to get your membership so you can vote. The cut off is sometime in March for the election in May

…However the west has as much power as any other part of the country does when it comes to determining who will represent us in the House now, and in the coming federal election. Become a card carrying member of the party so you can exercise your right to be heard and as a western Canadian have some impact on the outcome. Choose wisely.

Who could beat Justin? As much as I hate to say it, I would have to admit at this point it may be O’leary or Bernier. Maybe Kellie is gaining some momentum, but I have no confidence in her ‘sticking’ power.

Not my choices , but I have to keep in mind that the western vote isn’t that significant and the east really determines the federal vote. In that light Bernier’s bad English may have to be overlooked. His policies are good. The only marks against him are his English and the incident with a past girlfriend.

O’leary could get the momentum going to beat Justin, I believe, but he would sell us down the river on the immigration issue. It just isn’t a problem in his mind. So to me, aside from his economic acumen, he’s got nothing I want. It sounds like he would continue to allow the carnage being slowly implemented, which will take the country, via immigration into a direction most Canadians do not want, and everyone will regret.

Donald, I am half French and can say that Trudeau speaks fluent moron in both official languages.

You two girls together? Oh boy, I’d say that’s trouble lookin’ for a party…Love to have seen it before the editing. For being so cute it was fairly informative.
Even though it already sounds cliched, we definitely need a Trump in Canada. A true leader and a true conservative.
The little I’ve seen and heard of Brad Trost, I like…does he have leadership potential? As opposed to being just another windsock.
I sure would like to vote FOR something for a change – instead of having to vote for the lesser of evils…

Great segment, and very funny. I disagree a bit with your selection, and feel the Kelly Leitch has a better chance and stronger following that you may suspect. But I do agree with your “never Chong” assessment. I was sort of hoping for a “coles notes” type of assessment on all of the candidates, but clearly that wasn’t what you were aiming at.

They’re definitely wittier than the postop tranny and the blonde on TSN. BTW thank you Donald Allan for making coffee come out my nose.

Those girls are sucrées , pardon my French .

Damn I love modern conservative women! You give me hope.

That’s because Conservatism is the ‘new counter culture’!

These 2 gals need a regular duet show on the Rebel. 2 hot witty chicks parsing the politics of the day. Maybe throw Gavin in and make it a panel. I was laughing out loud! Both are outstanding! The Rebel makes being conservative FUN!

I love humour to break up the monotony of politics. Andrew Scheer looks like a brilliant alternative to the libs. The ladies did an excellent run down on the choices (except for missing one). I enjoyed your show. We need more of you two together.

Still hoping for Brad Trost, but it is looking like he is not as popular. Probably too social conservative for many. Not sure I have a second choice, but not Kevin O’Leary since all he would be good at from a Conservative perspective is the finance … so he would probably make an excellent finance minister.

Does anyone here speak French? I just wondered if Trudeau is as big a moron when he speaks French as he is when he is speaking English.

I don’t see any of these candidates as being strong leaders. O’leary gives me the creeps. Kelly has an annoying voice that deflects from her presentation. Cheech is pretending to be a conservative. They all seem mediocre to me. I’m not a leader in any way shape or form, but those I look up to, are honest, hard working and have a sense of fair play, and are able to listen to the concerns of normal everyday citizens. I think when we are looking for the leader of a political party, that we need to set higher standards, because we are just seeing the fluff, and no real substance. I don’t like the gong show approach to picking leaders. I think they should be out locally talking to the people, and letting the people ask them questions directly in a town hall environment. The fact that French has to be considered keeps many strong candidates from running. What happened to having in interpreter?

I would stress again – Since we have a “plethora” of stacked panels on all of the other Canadian news outlets, you are contributing more to honest dialogue in this country than you may imagine.,..

GOOD ONE LADIES!.. And love the repartee… Do so again on a regular basis because we sure need a forum for bouncing around conservative opinion in an other than “one face speaking” forum… Since we have a “plethora” of stacked panels on all of the other Canadian news outlets, you are contributing more to honest dialogue in this country than you may imagine.,..

..sorry for the extra ‘far’ .

So far I’m with you far Faith. At the moment Lemieux is at the top of my list.
I think you guys were spot on with all of the candidates really enjoyed your take, but you neglected one candidate. Andrew Saxton, North Van. former Flahrety Parliamentary Secretary. Nobody knows who the hell he is but I liked him in the debate in Halifax. Seemed kind of cold not to even mention him girls.
I could not agree more about Chong, he comes off as arrogant as Justin. I guess he didn’t get the memo that insulting the electorate is never a good idea. An intolerable fellow indeed, not a chance for that guy. I find it amusing that he considers the Council Of European Canadian a “white supremacist group”. That is kind of a slap in the face to most of the electorate. It’s a great site , great articles. Lots of history and in no way deserves Chong’s foul slander. If it looked like he might get in I just may have to have a ‘never Chong’ melt down. He is a bad dude.

Faith, Lauren, the two of you have just increased The Rebel ratings by 25%. Guaranteed. Will probably go viral on You Tube.

Deepak Obhrai is not from India. He was born in Tanzania and came to Canada when he was 27 years old.

On Child & Parental Rights Issues (for those who might care…) Trudeau, as part of his commitment to adopting the 94 TRC “Calls to Action” has stated that he endorses the “repeal of 43” and inadvertently the criminalization of 82% of parents who use minor force in child-rearing.

My NGO continues to poll all CPC candidates on their position on this crucial issue facing Canadian parents. Should loving and firmly guiding parenting be criminalized in Canada? Responses thus far:

FOUR candidates explicitly DEFEND existing laws: Chris Alexander, Pierre Lemieux, Brad Trost (would enact a formal Parental Bill of Rights) and Andrew Scheer

ONE candidate has no position on on this: Michael Chong

The rest have not responded to at least 3 requests (phone, email, letter mail) on their position with parental rights since Nov/16 – draw your own conclusions

The ability for me, and my children as they become parents, to parent in solid traditional loving and effective parenting styles is really important to me. (www.keep43.ca) SO what’s important to you? Have you asked these candidates? where do they stand? PLEASE let us know!

LOved tis bit – you two gals have to do more opinion/analysis like this – light heated, lots of inside jokes – LOVED IT – great info, and entertaining.

But sorry ladies, with me it’s anyone but O’leary – his attitude on civilian firearms , the military and his propensity to quickly drop to his knees when a globalist is around, makes him unacceptable as a Canadian, let alone a conservative leader – and I’m not so sure he isn’t a planted lib-globalist judas goat.

I like all 3 of the Francophone candidates but gotta go with Leach strictly on policy.

Good one, ladies! So agree, #Never Cheech!
And yes,definitely Lemieux!
