August 30: Video of Canadian-American couple released where they plead for the Afghan government to change execution policy.
Link to what little information is available on this so far is at Site Intel Group.
It appears however, that their captors, most likely Taliban, want the Canadian and American government to force the Afghan government to change its policies on the execution of its prisoners.
The video is temporarily off line but we are working to bring it back for you.
A Western couple who were kidnapped by the Taliban in 2012 have appeared in a new video released by the terror group - marking the first time either has been seen in three years.
In the video, 33-year-old Joshua Boyle, from Toronto, Canada and his wife Caitlan Coleman, from Pennsylvania, plead with the Afghani government to halt the execution of Taliban prisoners.
If the government doesn't comply, the couple says that their captors will kill them and other prisoners - including women and children.
