Canadian sniper’s world-record shot leaves politicians playing semantic games

Brian LilleyArchive

Canadians should be justly proud of our world record sniper as reported last week. But there are some questions.

Watch as I shock you by agreeing with both Justin Trudeau and Tom Mulcair before explaining why they are both wrong on other key points.

This Shot was incredible beyond what most people can imagine. Just watched a video on the possible dynamics to make this shoot and the sniper would have had to aim 700 feet above the target terrorist to make it possible at that distance. Ballistically it would be much like an artillery shot as an arcing path. Barometric pressure and air temperature comes into the complex math tables to guide this shot. The Sniper having to aim 700 feet above the target would not be able to see the target through the scope when he pulled the trigger . Delivery of the Bullet went hypersonic and took minutes as the downward path would be a tumble much like a meteor or space craft coming to earth from space.

It is to bad so much political BS has taken over this story. This shot is truly remarkable. Most Canadians do not know of JTF and how good they really are. We measure up to any of the more well known special forces around the world, and are better then most. So many factors in play when it comes to taking any long distance shot. How can you be anything less then proud for this achievement?

Damn that is a long distance.

This kill gave Justin and Thomas a sharp pain in their asses , sort of like a phantom limb, or in their case a phantom fist.

Peter… Don’t kid yourself. The mongrels know that JT is the closest ally here in Canada so probably one of the safest places to be is 10 feet from that asshole.

It’s scary to know someone can kill you from a distance further than you can see. Glad he’s on our team. But they know we did it.
I wouldn’t go to Trudeaus party in Ottawa this weekend.

Politicians shut up and leave the shooting of guns to the MEN.

I have no problem with our soldiers engaging in combat but we must not accept the enemy combatants in our country at the same time. Choose one or the other. Otherwise it is the citizens then who will pay the price. I have some doubts though on who we are really combatting, Assad or ISIS?

Every time I hear Trudope say “Canadians want this” or “Canadians want that” I grit my teeth. I am a Canadian and this POS does not stand for anything I want.
