"383 piggies at the trough": Meet the Canadians at the Paris Climate Conference (on your dime)

Ezra LevantRebel Commander

There are 383 Canadian delegates at the Paris Climate Conference (COP21). That’s more than Australia, the United Kingdom and the United States. Combined.

Who are these 383 people?

Let’s start with the most important people on the trip:

The official photographers, of course.

And the "communications directors" and "communications counsellors" -- for the Liberals and the opposition, too.

It's weird enough that Alberta's Rachel Notley's there; after all, provincial premiers can't sign international treaties.

But what about the mayors of Montreal, Vancouver, Toronto -- and Huron-Kinloss, population 7,000?

I run the numbers to try to get an idea how much money all this is costing you and me.

Business class tickets start at $9000 each. The Nunavut delegation is probably spending close to a hundred grand in airfare alone.

Then there are the hotels, food, limos...

But is there something worse than politicians burning up your money to go to Paris? Maybe.

Gregor Robertson, the mayor of Vancouver is going. But he says don’t worry, taxpayers aren’t paying the bill. The C40 Climate Leadership Group is.

Who? Wait until you find out...

Rachel Notley's Alberta NDP just announced a $3 billion a year carbon tax.

“Well unfortunately for these “communications [counselors]” too many people back home have their BS filter glasses on (like the Oppressed masses in the cult classic “They Live”) and we see the monstrosity behind the subliminal messaging”
Hey Bill…I feel your angst brother, however I seriously doubt that the oppressed masses even know whats happening. Our new gov’t folks have upped the ante into a whole new dimension of orgy and spin rational. As the expression goes, you ain’t seen nothin’ yet.

Dear Diary;
Phew! The results are in. The agonizing wait reminded me of waiting for the results of my degree finals, I mean the easy artsy one, not the hard engineering one at the Poly-Tech that I had to quit because someone made it too difficult for me. The draft of the legally binding Paris treaty, the one to change the climate and save the planet, the one that doesn’t have any legally binding agreements or any legally binding consequences, but it’s legally binding, has been approved.
My global masters at the U.N. must surely be smiling on me now. The wait was certainly nerve-racking; after all, bringing a crowd of over three hundred and eighty champagne sippers, caviar guzzlers and Brad Wall for an all expenses paid trip to Paris can catch the attention of some people. Not that it’s about the money, no one cares about that. It’s all about people’s perception of me as their great leader. That’s what really counts.

Of course, Elizabeth May has to photobomb the selfies. Doesn’t she have something better to do, like … what exactly does May do, anyway?

Gary King commented – " Hope they all get dysentery and spew a little methane on the way back."

Haha that was worth the trip here this AM. I like the way you think Gary – cosmic retribution ;

yeah ,well, Stephen Harper warned everyone the Liberals will spend . Just like a drunken sailor

Great clip as always Ez. I heard that French champagne was still on the menu but the Russian caviar was replaced with low-coitus goat cheese consecrated by some Imam from the Middle East. Bon appetite! Hope they all get dysentery and spew a little methane on the way back.

Ezra, all these globalist confabs are just feeding frenzies of entitlement gluttons, an orgy of excess by the self-anointed Übermenschen. I’ll wager they never flew economy class or stay at economy hotels or eat simple take out or drink beer instead of champagne cocktails. All of which is leaving a carbon footprint equivalent to the yearly output of a small city.

I like this new designation for trough-guzzlers: “communications directors” and “communications counsellors” Of course this weasel lingo for propagandists – no Übermenschen mass debauch would be complete without the army of media propagandists and spinners needed to portray this grotesque self-indulgent hypocrisy as a moral crusade by genuinely concerned moral authorities.

Well unfortunately for these “communications counsellors” too many people back home have their BS filter glasses on ( like the Oppressed masses in the cult classic “They Live”) and we see the monstrosity behind the subliminal messaging. It ain’t pretty to see these hogs wallowing in self-indulgent decadence at the expense of people who could only dream of such excesses.

Any PC’s there? Wait .. what a silly question. Canada is busy wiping them off the Canadian landscape on the ballots.

There were more kling-ons at the Paris love-in than at star-trek convention in Gollywood ~!?!

Ezra how many piggies went to the last loonie conference hen Harper was in charge and how much did it cost us. This would make a nice artical when the figures come in form this years wallow. I’m for one who’s looking forward to a milder climate here in Canada, just think of palm trees lining the shores of Lake Eirie something to look forward too

Edward Jobin said, And what do we get in return for all this wasted money? More hot air! AND, more wasted money in the billions, and more BS about climate change. This does not end there in Paris, this continues here in Canada. The spend and bullshit Liberals.
It is up to us Canadians to end this travesty or to shut up and live with it. Complaining does nothing other than to let Turdeau and his cohorts laugh at us and whip out their middle fingers and show us how big their middle fingers are.

There’re baaack! And we certainly know where their priorities lie. Climate change will ruin us long before any weather does.

Mulcair is that picture, wonder what passport he used?

What a bunch of EGG HEADS. This all falls at Trudeaus feet! He okayed this and this just shows you, “THIS CHILD WILL NEVER BE READY”. This confirms it. To not take into account the cost of this big group sent to Paris also means that Trudeau is OUT OF TOUCH WITH THE REALLY WORLD. I honestly give this drama teacher one term because Canadians will be fed up with this boy!

The left comes from the so-called intellectual class, consequently they have an entitled superiority complex about the little people and how they should support the whims of the left, while the left ignores the needs of us little ones. Great case in point is the Alberta Energy Minister telling the little unemployed people of Alberta to look for work in B.C.

(def’n: intellectual- a person educated beyond the means of his/her natural intelligence)

Dave said, “There had better be a full audit published after this Paris Party just so we know who is the “greenist” of the partygoers.”

Oh, that’s an easy one.

First there is Stéphane Dion because his dog’s name is Kyoto. That alone makes him the most righteous.

Next in line would be Rachel Notley because of all the taxes on oil and gas and carbon tax she implemented recently and the ongoing review on royalties. Her halo is especially glowing right now because of all that.

That picture says it all. Behind all those smiles, they are actually saying to Canadians, thanks peasants for our paid vacation and thank you to all the suckers who voted for us! ( I know, I posted something similar on a previous story. I felt this needed to be updated). Just wonder how many of those suckers will be commenting on here to justify the actions of those entitled “piggies”?
commented 2015-12-05 10:10:11 -0500
Oh, come on people! They are saving our planet from total annihilation from us evil capitalist conservatives, so they are pure righteousness personified!! We can’t criticize them, can we?
commented 2015-12-05 10:05:19 -0500
What no restaurant previewers? There had better be a full audit published after this Paris Party just so we know who is the “greenist” of the partygoers. We’ll need the rebel to publish it though because the MSM will just distort facts.

383 earth lovers who flew to paris on special no carbon airplanes who are staying in bamboo hotels heated geothermally eating only locally sourced vegan food.

This is the picture of the entitled ones who think they know what’s best for everyone, and if you disagree, they will attack you from all angles. They are entitled to their entitlements, in spite of looking like hypocrites who fly around, and jet set to make plans to control the rest of us, from having the freedom to do the same on an individual level.
commented 2015-12-05 09:08:26 -0500
A happy bunch of entitled leftists, whoua! let’s party.
commented 2015-12-05 09:02:12 -0500
Socialist utopia. Referencing Orwell, these 383 are the pigs and dogs connected to the main house.

Very fitting.

Perhaps Trudeau will round up some of his islamic terrorist business partners that he supports and protects to do a little planning.

383 people sucking up our tax dollars, only going to get worse with the liberals infastructure plan, fail to see how public transit in calgary or toronto helps rural areas ? All liberals care about is urban areas, they could care less about anything outside of the city. notley and her ndp losers are no different.
