Caravan report UPDATE: Canada-bound migrant explains why Trump’s border plans won’t stop him

David MenziesMission Specialist

While following the migrant caravan making its way to the U.S. border from Mexico, we came across one migrant who told us his end goal was to make it to Canada.

He explains that there are no jobs in El Salvador, and getting to Canada legally will just take too long. And if he can’t make it past the U.S. border?

Watch as he explains how he plans to avoid coming up against Donald Trump's enhanced border enforcements to get to a better life in Canada.

Keep up to date with our fact-finding mission at CaravanReports.com.

(PS: If you’re able to chip-in to support our independent reporting, we would greatly appreciate any and all donations. Our thanks in advance for your continued generosity.)

BTW, for those who go on about us being the descendants of immigrants, the laws have changed and now we are supposed to pick and choose who comes in. Its been that way for a long, long time

Tht’s right Stephan, there were no hotels in Hochelaga and so far nobody has treated any Imam the way the Huron treated the Jesuits.

Look for tat’s Menzies. Back of the neck.
Regardless, Canada doesn’t need that kind of worker, or anymore people entering illegally, these people are economic migrants, that is not the definition of an asylum seeker. Get in line, knock on the front door and wait to be asked in.
Thank heavens the U.S. is between us and Mexico or he’d already be here. Wish him the best, but we can’t afford all the worlds needy, we have our own we need to take better care of.

What does he mean when he says Mexican officials can get him a pass to Canada?

Good question Philip.

There seems to be a new definition for “asylum”. It now seems to mean not finding a job that pays well in your home country. So for all those flipping burgers, can they make similar claims because well, that is not a high paying job?

The US should build the wall, and Canada should put up a fence where illegals keep crossing. Trump has the right idea. Baby Doc HasNoBrains, our fearless (with your tax dollars) PM has no clue.

BTW, for those who go on about us being the descendants of immigrants, the laws have changed and now we are supposed to pick and choose who comes in. Its been that way for a long, long time.

He wants to work in Canada with no knowledge of the language. Does he understand our winters? Is his uncle here legally? The questions go on…

This 10 min. video shows what happens when you mix non-working people with working people. Is it racist or simply the truth? 1/3 of a million views so far.
