Catherine McKenna "has no time" for Canadians opposed to carbon taxes

Ezra LevantRebel Commander

On last night's show, I reported on Environment Minister Catherine McKenna's lashing out at Canadians during an interview with Evan Solomon when she claimed she "has no time for folks who are deniers."

The statement came in response to Solomon pressing her on how much the Trudeau carbon tax would lower emissions, something McKenna has been asked repeatedly and never answered.

The Liberals have failed to justify their imposition of a carbon tax, which will increase the cost of everything and make Canadian industry less competitive while doing nothing to help the environment.

McKenna is a friggin vacuous loon . . .
AGW is still an Unproven Hypothesis after 30 years of hysteria by the insane left.
The idea that 30 million Canooks can save the planet in the actually cleanest country on the planet is nonsensical. Our vast Greenery and area make our per capita emissions . . . insignificant !

We know that the total emissions/reabsorption of CO2 by nature makes emissions of CO2 by burning fossil fuels totally insignificant and lost in the instrumental accuracy levels.

Catherine McKenna will not receive my vote next time. I wrote to her about the “refugees” and sent a sample of the Qur’an and a civilized message to her that I do not believe many of these immigrants being forced on us in Canada are actually “refugees” – all the images I’ve seen were of overweight people, the women wearing a variety of draperies and refusing hotels and housing many Canadians could use. I also do not agree with the cultish muslim belief system. It has made horrendous inroads into the UK and Europe. She sent me a long reply that we should be inclusive and completely ignored any point I had made. She is not fit to be a representative in the federal parliament and I make sure that I tell many of the people I know or meet that we have a problem with her being an MP. This video of her today confirms her attitude further – she has “no time” for “deniers.” That statement flies in the face of an elected representative doing the job properly. My main impression from her time as an MP is her posing with a canoe paddle over her head and saying she’s “working very hard.” She also refused to work any overtime during the week because she needs to help her children with their homework. Well, if you’re going to run for public office, that comes first.

“So are people going to vote for you and then find out they lost their job because what they do for a living was deemed wasteful spending?”

That’s actually a very ironic thing to say John Rambo (Bob) Think about it. Seriously?

Lets start with Justin’s jet setting. There are a plethora of examples. How about just about everything Wynne does in Ontario. What did these wreckers do to the oil and gas industry or any meaningful manufacturing? How many people have they put out of work in the private sector? Under the current governments both federal and provincial, the only ‘safe’ jobs at the moment are tax payer subsidized and public sector jobs. It is a very sick way to run an economy. If you think waste is subjective in the political climate we are dying in right now, you are a part of the problem dude.

John Rambo they should not make promises they cannot pay for! Pretty damn simple. Just because you promise to pay for the world does not make it possible.
commented 2018-04-05 02:24:53 -0400
John Rambo waste is waste. No matter who does it. And new taxes are not needed.
commented 2018-04-05 02:23:54 -0400
Andrew Stephenson YEAH SURE LMAO! It is not revenue neutral in any way shape or form and does not save anyone a damn cent. You are an idiot.
commented 2018-04-04 23:58:30 -0400
John Rambo… You sound suspiciously similar to Andrew Stevenson with about the same logic.

She knows approving it was for show. She knows that pipeline won’t get built.
commented 2018-04-04 22:47:07 -0400
There will be no pipelines or anything accomplished of any real value to the country until these globalists are chased out. If they shut the government down today and did nothing we would be better off.
commented 2018-04-04 22:40:44 -0400
You must be a government employee J Rambo. You think ‘waste’ is subjective? Have you ever worked in the private sector? If Justin, and his wrecking ball premiers did not one thing more regarding their campaign ‘promises’, Canada would be a better place. They should all just stay home. I don’t want to pay for anymore damage, or anymore of their green schemes. There is nothing they want to do that I want to pay for. They get enough damn taxes. Quit wasting it on nonsense, raises for jobs badly done and office furniture.

Andrew Stephenson the people pay and have less , then they buy less of other things. PRETTY SIMPLE REALLY , but of course not to a communist you. It is our money the government does not need to be in our lives so much. Just because you are too mindless to determine your own destiny and decide how you want to live your life does not mean we are as well. "

If it’s revenue neutral, then you’re shuffling the deck chairs around, not adding more of them. The net impact then, is zero. Yes, a tax hike does what you say, but a carbon tax isn’t necessarily a tax hike. In fact, if you implement it right, energy efficient individuals will see their taxes cut – and that’s actually the point of the tax.

Taxing consumption as carbon taxes do, rather than income, is actually a very fundamentally conservative idea. You’ll notice, of course, that many “red states” have no income tax at all, gathering their revenue from consumption taxes alone, and if you use the revenue from carbon taxes to cut income taxes, you move towards that goal. Such a strategy essentially makes taxes discretionary. If you don’t buy the taxed items, you don’t pay the taxes on them, rather than the government just helping themselves to your wallet no matter what you do.

I loathe this arrogant twit and now pushing her garbage carbon tax, she is as evil as it comes. We are so sick and tired of these vacuous inept imbeciles ruining our beautiful country and provinces. I have never seen such terrible, terrible morons running in Alberta with nutbar, wynne-bag in ontariowe and God forbid, the stupidest man-boy ever destroying Canada. Man, let’s voters grow a brain next time we have elections in this province and country.
commented 2018-04-04 01:49:06 -0400
Oh, man, have you ever seen someone so arrogant and entitled. She is called "Sewer barbie " for good reasons, first this snobbish idiot approved 16 billion litres of raw sewage into the St Lawrence River over a week ago. Yup, no environmental studies, no protest, just go ahead because it’s quebec and they can do whatever. Alberta has 10 years of absolute garbage regulations, environmental studies up the razoo, protestors from everywhere in the world it seems, thousands public statements, etc and still NO PIPELINES.

John Rambo why do we not tax women who get abortions? How will we make up that revenue if we do not? I see logic escapes you as always Bob.
commented 2018-04-04 01:43:20 -0400
I guess we better tax people 100% or where will we make up that revenue since we need it according to John.
commented 2018-04-04 01:42:14 -0400
John Rambo they can cut waste and useless government positions.
commented 2018-04-04 01:40:30 -0400
John Rambo why do we need the revenue? Creating a new tax does not mean there is a need for the money raised.
commented 2018-04-03 19:16:10 -0400
John Rambo, the government doesn’t need to bring in the ‘same amount of money to pay for things ’. They just need to stop wasting what they do get. They are wasteful greedy slubs and need to stop using what they get to pad their pockets and waste on programs we don’t want. Problem solved.
commented 2018-04-03 18:04:53 -0400
Oh Andrew, you really stepped into that one!!!
Better luck next time.
commented 2018-04-03 17:53:09 -0400
John Rambo….first thing, this government does not have a revenue problem but a serious spending problem. Like all socialists, its all good until you run out of other peoples money.
commented 2018-04-03 17:50:12 -0400
Well there you have it folks, you can all sleep better tonight because all knowing Andrew has enlightened the masses. Contrary to what the all knowing one thinks, we are all dumber after reading the post from that clown.

I guess she has no time since wants to spend more time in her townhouse with the Corvette and her latex Ken.

Dirk Kanis it is amazing how ignorant socialists are when it comes to reality and people wanting freedom. They despise it because they are elitist scum.

Tsk, tsk, Ezra, what do you mean by using that gender-charged word, “mankind”. . . surely you are not a “genderist” person are you (!); after all, thanks be to the little potato and his folly, the whole world ought to know by now it is not mankind but “peoplekind.” Oh the world others would have us live in!

PS) Ezra, glad to see you remain a member of mankind, and still fighting the good fight.

Trudeau’s face may be the projected image on the Liberal parties Big Monitor, but pull back the curtains and it is Gerald Butts pushing all the levers and pulling all the strings. And McKenna, whose climate knowledge rivals my Roomba vacuum cleaner is just another auto-bot carrying out the Wizard’s plan.
