every poll says is about to absolutely crush Rachel Notley and the NDP in next month’s election in Alberta.
But here's what the CBC has to say:
'Left with fines, charges and shame': Calgary political insider alleges voter fraud in UCP leadership campaign
Alberta's election commissioner has ruled that Hardyal Mann made irregular political contributions, and the Calgary political operative alleges the existence of a plan to commit voter fraud in order to secure the election of Jason Kenney as United Conservative Party leader — a controversy that's erupting in the midst of a provincial election.”
So this is about the fake candidate who was running just to attack Kenney’s rival, Brian Jean. And then defect to support Kenney. As I said in an earlier show, I think it’s gross, and I think a lot of conservatives do, too.
But the province is desperate to get rid of Notley. These stupid backroom games aren't stupid enough to grant the NDP one more second of power.
Now look closely at the bottom of this long story:
This team from CBC Calgary has been investigating allegations of wrongdoing in the UCP leadership campaign. Tips and correspondence can be sent in confidence to: firstname.lastname@example.org, email@example.com, firstname.lastname@example.org, email@example.com, firstname.lastname@example.org. With files from Charles Rusnell and Jennie Russell
The CBC has put seven reporters on this file.
Do you think that the CBC has ever put seven reporters on an NDP scandal?
Do you think the CBC has seven reporters covering the SNC-Lavalin scandal of Trudeau? (Funny how they haven’t broken a single story about that — it’s all been private sector journalists.)
Three stories in the course of 24 hours.
That’s the state broadcaster. You can’t believe a single word they say. They hate you. They lie to you. They attack you.
And then they send you the bill...
