CBC continues smear campaign against conservative activist

Keean BexteRebel Contributor

Last November, John Carpay of the Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms was one of many speakers at The Rebel Live conference in Calgary.

At one point in his twenty-minute speech, John referenced the swastika, the hammer and sickle, and the rainbow flag. The left lost their minds, surprisingly quick. It only took a couple of hours after John Carpay wrapped up his speech for the left-wing pundits (the CBC included) to smell the blood in the water.

John knows that he misspoke, by the sounds of it, he was eager to correct the record. It seemed like the fiasco was over; John had apologized and the Twittersphere had moved on.

But you know as well as I, one clickbaity article about purported homophobic white men is never enough for the CBC.

Late Monday night, Sarah Regier of the CBC posted this article. It didn’t add anything new to the story, it was just a creepy update on the life of a private citizen. Instead of putting the billions of dollars Trudeau gives them to good use, the activist team at CBC Calgary decided Albertans needed to be reminded that the SJWs on Twitter were triggered a few months ago. Why are they so desperate, and obsessed with John Carpay?

PS: Remember when Sarah Rieger wrote a love-letter style article about the NDP candidate who was a registered communist here is a link to that video.

I expect this crap from the CBC and other msm, but Kenney should be ashamed of himself for throwing Carpay under the bus. There are a lot of ‘vile and offensive’ groups, to use Kenney’s words, hiding behind the protected rainbow flag, and I see nothing wrong with Carpay’s comment at all.

I find their thought and word police and firing people for ‘misgendering, ’vile and offensive.
Enabling transitioning before the age of consent is about as ’vile and offensive’ as it gets.
Its vile and offensive for parents to parade their clown trannie children out in public like the parents of that little boy recently photographed with a nude man. That those parents aren’t investigated for child abuse is pretty ‘vile and offensive’ to me.
Clown drag queens reading story time to toddlers is sick twisted ,vile and offensive, no?
Pedophilia is also ‘vile and offensive’, as is sexualizing young children in public schools before they can even register the information.
I am sick to the back teeth, of good people being vilified because they won’t buy into the sick culture of abusing and confusing the heck out of our kids.
I just don’t know about Jason Kenney anymore. The list of reasons is becoming too long to ignore. John Carpay does not deserve this, and no, he should not have apologized. You have to stand up to these neo marxists. Explain context to them briefly, and then tell them to go pound sand.

I’d say it’s more of a case that they’re afraid of Mr. Carpay, than just being your typical nasty Fake News Media Party Liars and Paid Whores, striking out randomly against non-lefty progressives with a “creepy update”.

And well they should be afraid of a moral man of integrity and character, an intellect and…a lawyer!

CBC you are not influential or respected, people do not think a certain way about someone because you tell them to. Only those who are bigoted like you will buy into that.

Ron Voss you got that right, it has been used as a weapon by too many.

I didn’t hear what he said since I wasn’t there. Any one have a link to his comments?

I think it’s really terrifying that he’s been given more of a platform,’ says LGBTQ advocate.
And thanks to the CBC he gets more of platform. Good work old tea bag.

The whole reason Trump became POTUS and Mad Max is gaining ground is because they DONT snivel and apologize.
Go on the offence against the CBC ! Don’t fall into their trap !
People will respect you more.
Leave the apologolooza tour to Mohammad Trudeau

It was a mistake for John to apologize. If you’re going to fight the fight, you have to be all-in, and don’t back down, not ever!! What he said is correct, and he should’ve stood by it and called the CBC and the gov on their Nazi-ism.

There’s no question the left are just using these various groups as battering rams to bash our society, and that’s what he should’ve called them on. They don’t care about gays or trans, or women or minorities, they’re just using them!

I love John’s work, I support him 100%, but he made a mistake in this case. First chance he gets he should use the same example, and this time stand by it! Be prepared with examples of the left throwing trans and gays under the bus to prove they don’t care, but are just using them as battering rams!

These propagandists never leave people alone. John Carpay apologized but that’s not good enough for these rainbow warriors. I’m sure that if John died, they’d be gleeful and said he had it coming. Yet anybody being mildly happy about a “gay rights” leader passing away would be persona non grata throughout all eternity.

The last time Rieger did a hit piece on John Carpay:

Of course, the CBC reaches out to Kris Wells to be part of the whipping of Carpay. Kris Wells who at one point made extreme sexually graphic material available to K-12 children on Eggen’s government-funded Alberta GSA Network website, developed by the Institute for Sexual Minority Studies and Services (ISMSS) under the direction of his friend Kris Wells. Kris Wells’ ‘thoughtful academic scholarship’ includes tweeting that cartoon comparing Christians to Nazis. Never heard from the CBC or Michelle Rempel denouncing that.

What’s worse than John being piled on by the CBC and the rest of the mainstream media was Kenney in response to calls for John to be expelled from the UCP, saying, “it’s our board that deals with expulsions…I condemned Mr. Carpay’s remarks as being vile and offensive. He does not in any way speak for the United Conservative Party.” In essence, calling a gentleman like John Carpay and a stalwart for freedom a a vile and offensive person.

When I heard John say that at the Rebel Live event, I thought to myself, that’s an interesting perspective as there has been a lot of coercion done under the rainbow banner. In my view, John did not misspeak and unfortunately was coerced to apologize.
