CBC now labels comments criticizing Islam as “Islamophobic”

StaffRebel Columnist

The CBC/The State Broadcaster/MSNBC North has proven exactly why many Canadians opposed M103 and the lack of a definition regarding the word “Islamophobia”. To the left and to the CBC, any criticism of Islam is 'Islamophobic' and must be silenced.

In an article from March 23, the CBC claimed that a “Peel District School Board meeting was disrupted by Islamophobic comments”. You can read about what happened at that meeting here.

What exactly were the so-called “Islamophobic” comments? The CBC article doesn't say.

Luckily, our friends over at CIJ News compiled a list of some of the things said at the meeting regarding Muslim prayers in public schools.

“You’re implementing an Islamic dominance rule in this country. That’s what you’re doing. We support Canadian values. No beheadings. No female genital mutilation. No child marriage. We don’t allow that in Canada. That’s what this books [Quran] says. We don’t religion in schools. The money dollar [from Saudi Arabia] is your pocket making decision for you. Mohammad the pedophile, and a warlord and a rapist. [Religion] does not belong in schools. Go to Pakistan. We will be in a Sharia [Islamic] Law state. It’s a book of hate [the Quran]. Islam will kill you. Islam will rape. Free speech. Free speech.”

While some of these comments may be considered over-the-top, they're tame compared to what's being preached in Canadian mosques, such as calling for Jews to be murdered. Nothing said at this school board meeting remotely compares.

Yet for some reason, an article by the CBC about the hate-filled sermons doesn't include the term “Antisemitism”. So, just to be clear...

According to the CBC, being critical of Islam and its prophet is “Islamophobia”. But calling for Jews to be killed doesn't even get called “hate” by the CBC. In fact, any reference to “hate” in the article is about Montreal's hate crimes unit or when quoting someone else.

But it's not just the CBC who jumps the gun and calls criticism of Islam “Islamophobia”. Other members of the Media Party are calling the comments “anti-Muslim” despite the fact Islam, not individual Muslims were criticized.

As CIJ News reports, the Globe and Mail claimed:

Police intervened at a Toronto-area school board meeting on Wednesday evening after members in the audience shouted anti-Muslim rhetoric, tore pages from a Koran and stepped on the religious text.”

And The Toronto Star:

“At the Peel board’s meeting Wednesday night, tempers flared and police — who have been called in to recent meetings for extra security — cleared the room after about 80 protesters could not be calmed. One ripped up a copy of the Quran, and stomped on it, as others yelled anti-Muslim comments.”

The only Muslim mentioned at the meeting was the Islamic Prophet Mohammed, who was called a “pedophile” and a “warlord”. So how exactly are the comments anti-Muslim?

Simple. There was no “Islamophobia”. There was no hatred being spewed towards Muslims. The media and the left love to label anyone with a different viewpoint as some sort of xenophobic bigot.

We warned you that “Islamophobia”, under the guise of anti-Muslim attacks, really meant criticism of Islam. Now, here we are.

As if we needed another reason to sell the CBC. If the State Broadcaster wants to be Al Jazeera Maple, they shouldn't be getting a nickel from taxpayers. And quite frankly, I've jihad enough.

Dear CBC,

A “phobia” is a diagnosed medical disorder treated by trained professional by means of various cognitive or drug therapies.

A “phobia” is defined in the medical journals as an “irrational fear”. Speaking out in regards to any ideology is neither “irrational” nor indicative of a fear.

“Islamophobia” is an oxymoron. Those who speak out do not do so because of an irrational fear of Islam, they speak out because they do NOT fear Islam!!!!!

A true “Islamophobe” would NOT speak out in regards to Islam because of their “irrational fear”.

Why is conversation and possible criticism of actions by organized islam a bad thing. I would say the an honest look at everything concerning some Islamic conduct would justify that alot is not compatible to what has been achieved in our societies.
It is not a judgement of people,it is a judgement of the direction in which our societies are led by organized islam .

True is true. We will not become an Islamic state. We are willing to fight for our country. You have wakened the wrong lion this time. Even though Trudeau and his EU buddies are trying to overtake us; we will not give in. When lambs become lions.

Dear Tree, the first quote is NOT “islamophobic”, whatever the heck that is. It is the truth. Quit being an apologist for evil.

Jan Rogers, it does not stop us from criticizing i-slam. Instead, it is some way to keep the member, who thought it up, quite with promises to look into it. I will never stop. I lived in their part of the world and was treated like a high priced slave. I did not last more than a year. However, they consider us to be nice and niceness to them is weakness. Also, I can bet 90% of all immigrants and refugees are using false docs and credentials. I have worked with refugees before. Our system is easy to take advantage of even if only for 18 months or so.

Phobia means fear. It does not appear these people quoted are afraid. Let us show everyone we are not afraid by having charges drawn up against these preachers of death and destruction who call for violence. Make ratting on spousal beatings and child mutilation payable by large monetary awards. Country wide campaigns to net the money will have to be setup. Have large noisy demonstrations outside the provincially owned low-income apartment complex in Toronto refusing anyone but muslims access. Meet refugees at airports with banners and noise. Campaign actively against school boards and any other government entity promoting muslims and their laws. Much can be done within the laws to show others are just as important as these freaks and their book-demanded atrocities. Not doing so means you are islamophobic but not the way CBC says, you are actually afraid. It is bad enough they want more than other citizens but their expecting it is our fault.

Who the hell would accept that the first quote above is not islamophobic???

Give your heads a shake, folks!!!

RICK PLESNIK As far as our little boy PM and his legalization of pot, he is playing games with this one,he is kicking it down the road so he legalizes it closer to election time.
Maybe he will hold off on it all together and then come next election promise to enact it the day he is re -elected.
People expected a much fast enactment of the pot laws than this ,but he just keeps kicking the can down the road
Before last winter it was supposed to be introduced this spring ( 2017) then i heard summer, now its July 2018,
He should take his finger out because according to the latest poll if an election were held today the conservatives would win a majority , and they don’t even have a leader .
People are getting tired of this little boy , flying all over the country and world and passing money out everywhere .breaking promises more and more,
This moron has a high " carbon footprint " jetting all over the place and then sticking us with high carbon taxes .
Changing the subject, maybe 103 stops us from criticizing Muslims or Islam, but there is nothing wrong with us educating people about Islam and Sharia law and the goal of Islam ,which is dictated in the Koran ,which is world domination of Islam .
We can just link to Islamic articles ,it gets the point across without us talking “hate speech”
There are many “hateful” things in the Koran, hateful to us but these are instruction to Muslims as to what they are commanded to do to further Islam around the world .

Liza Rosie—I understand what you just said, and want you to be correct, but just 2 quick points:
1. Even before m103 , if I threaten a politician or any real person, I can be sued.
2. You said, I certainly won’t curb my comments on Islam whether 103 is law or not; neither would I expect the Rebel to. That is saying nothing is going to change when 103 becomes law.
The way Ezra has been talking, I am sure he is going to clam up. You should be ok as when you are saying something offence, the reader has to read between the lines to get your point.
Keith Barnes and I have to be careful, otherwise please visit us in cell-block 5.

LEVITICUS 2013 commented, “Kelly Leach is not what she’s selling her self to be to everybody… please consider Andrew Scheer, Brad Trost and perhaps consider other candidates who wish to vett immigrants, protect our guns,… I myself are leaning towards Andrew Scheer as he wishes to strongly vett immigrants.”
LEVITICUS, you say, Scheer “wishes to strongly vett immigrants”. I went to his policy page and could find nothing there re immigration. There one finds that one of his reasons for opposing M-103 is that, “M-103 is not inclusive. It singles out just one faith. I believe that all religions deserve the same level of respect and protection”.

An associate of mine active in Social Media tells me more than a few petitions popped up on Facebook over the weekend advocating the removal of Jihadi Justin. They were referenced to M 103 and broken promises. One garnered several thousand signatures within an hour! Expect desperation from the Liebranos. Apparently Jihadi Justin has “promised” now to legalize weed by July 2018. Will this be enough to save him? Given that Social Media is largely populated by Generation “Z” and Millenials, this is an interesting development. More as it is relayed to me….

Ron only things such as uttering threats, which could get the Rebel sued. I would like to have Justin Trudeau chased out of the country and never allowed back in. Maybe not a nice thing to say about the PM but is isn’t a something anyone could sue over. You know what I post Ron. I don’t usually mince my meaning and I don’t think we have anything to complain about here. Of course I don’t advocate for any cutting, but accept that it may on rare occasions be necessary. I certainly won’t curb my comments on Islam regardless of m103 ever becoming law or not. Nor would I expect the Rebel to, or expect us to curb in that regard.
“… censor good points which are the truth.” Certainly not what I meant.

Drew that link really shows the cbc National’s decline. And Mansbridge still gets paid how much?

Liza & Jan—would there be much point in being on the Rebel-Media if Ezra has to censor good points which are the truth ? That is the opposite of Free Speech.
I have no answer to this future problem; at least nothing that I can put in writing.

Tammie P- Z reminded us of some of the journalists who condemn Islam like Aayan Hirsi Ali & Robert Spencer amongst others who are or were Muslims who continuously receive death threats for speaking up against the evils of this religion, for which Trudeau & his cabinet are now trying to muzzle us as well. Why would they be receiving death threats if they were not telling us the truth. Trudeau visits mosques regularly, dons the attire & even prays with them & becomes the biggest hypocrite of all when he directs attention to his “sisters” who have been relegated to the balcony because of their 2nd class status as per the Islam religion. No gender equality there Mr. Trudeau, yet no criticism from him either in that setting. There will be no relenting whatsoever by this gov’t when it comes to Islam with plenty more to come & they have no shame passing motions like M-103 & let our freedom of speech be damned. What is going on with this government masquerading as a gov’t for all the people. Be afraid, be very afraid.

Kelly Leach is not what she’s selling her self to be to everybody… She is not what you think she is and it’s just another liberal in conservative clothing… She is definitely not the “man” for the job..
We only have one chance to get this right please consider Andrew Scheer, Brad Trost and perhaps consider other candidates who wish to vett immigrants, protect our guns, (again unlike Kelly Leach who would give the Rcmp the final say in what the citizens can own as private property) I myself are leaning towards Andrew Scheer as he wishes to strongly vett immigrants, he also realizes that law-abiding citizens even armed ones do not pose a threat to society but in fact may enhance it.
And he wishes to return property rights to Canadian citizens and that is something that Pierre Elliott stole from us when he was in power for the elites.
Anybody even notice anymore when you pay off your mortgage you do not get a deed to your property… you get a piece of paper that releases you from your mortgage obligation but not entitlement to the property.. Thank the other Trudeau for that.
Better yet support and promote western separation against the elitist dictatorships that are born to rule from the Laurentian’s.

I would say that it would be bigoted to not criticize Islam if you don’t agree with it. No religions enjoy getting criticized but I don’t know of any other than Islam that wants to pass a law banning it’s criticism. That suggests that Muslims are the only people who are to over sensitive or childish to participate in an adult conversation or respect laws that allow for it. I don’t believe Muslim’s anatomy is any different than others and that this is only a ploy of extremists to allow their religion to be promoted without question and at the same time protect it’s bad actors and protect the government’s involvement in any bad decisions regarding showing favoritism towards one religion.

I wonder if the CBC will agree with Jiggs? I’m guessing no.

Muslim Tolerance.
Jiggs McDonald, NHL Hall of Fame broadcaster speaking in Ontario, says: "I am truly perplexed that so many of my friends are against another mosque being built in Toronto. I think it should be the goal of every Canadian to be tolerant regardless of their religious beliefs. Thus the mosque should be allowed, in an effort to promote tolerance.
“That is why I also propose that two nightclubs be opened next door to the mosque; thereby promoting tolerance from within the mosque. We could call one of the clubs, which would be gay, “The Turban Cowboy,” and the other, a topless bar, would be called "You Mecca Me Hot.
“Next door should be a butcher shop that specializes in pork, and adjacent to that an open-pit barbecue pork restaurant, called “Iraq of Ribs.
“Across the street there could be a lingerie store called “Victoria Keeps Nothing Secret,” with sexy mannequins in the window modelling the goods," and on the other side a liquor store called ‘Morehammered.’
“All of this would encourage Muslims to demonstrate the tolerance they demand of us.”
Yes we should promote tolerance, and if you are not smiling at this point… It is either past your bedtime, or it’s midnight at the oasis and time to put your camel to bed.
Not really sure Jiggs said this but in Mother Russia, in the words of Vladimir the Stable Guy, “That’s funny, I don’t care who you are.”

Does this make this young Arab boy Islamophobic? Just asking.

A young Arab boy asks his father, “What is that weird hat you are wearing?”
The father said, “Why, it’s a ‘chechia’ because in the desert it protects our
heads from the intense heat of the sun.”
“And what is this type of clothing that you are wearing?” asked the young
“It’s a ‘djbellah’ because in the desert it is very hot and it protects the body,”
said the father.
The son asked, “And what about those ugly shoes on your feet?”
His father replied, “These are ‘babouches’ which keep us from burning our
feet from hot sand in the desert.”
“So tell me then,” added the boy.
“Yes, my son?”
“Why are you living in Dearborn Michigan and still wearing all this shit?

Public disinfo dissemination and anti-Canadian indoctrination is the new CBC mandate.

Of course the CBC would immediately start condemning material critical of Islam as Islamophobia. The CBC is the Liberal propaganda organ. They are in the business of fake news. They should be set free where they can compete like a real network. Surely, if people like them so much, they’ll do fine and those of us who loathe them, can at least have the satisfaction of knowing out tax dollars aren’t being eaten up by that useless abortion.

Muta Ween, point taken. After all, as Tommy Robinson says (paraphrasing now), I want to be able to tell my kids I did everything in my power.
Thinking about what the future will look like in this country is the most disturbing thing to me. I do not want my kids and grandkids to have to fight this fight. It’s ugly and mean and not the country I want to leave them. I would not die easy.

The term Islamophobia was coined by the Muslim Brotherhood in 1996.
Iqra Khalid’s father, Dr. Hafiz Khalid a long time associate of ISNA and formerly a vocal supporter of Jamaat-e-Ismali (the south Asian wing of the Muslim Brotherhood.

from the same link Edward provided.

and this,
“MP Iqra Khalid, like MP Omar Alghabra, is typical of the Islamist extremists that are using political Entryism to infiltrate our political system. She leads and supports front groups which espouse Islamist extremism, such as the Muslim Student Association, yet at the same time claims to be a victim of the (largely) fake concept of Islamophobia.”

People don’t realize who is in Justin’s cabinet. These people have been brought up to infiltrate the Canadian government. Iqra has ‘been giving back to the community’ as she puts it, since she was an adolescent, not many years after she came to this country with her parents from Pakistan. She has been groomed for this job since birth.
We are allowing ourselves to be sitting ducks. Canada the ‘doormat’ country. Walk right in and take over our government.

Tammie yes, that was the link to the guest speaker in Parliament, ‘Muslim woman of colour’ I was talking about. How do you fight against that sort of nonsense? This victimhood act makes suckers of them all and since these MP’s represent us, we all pay for this lack of representation. No one is defending Canada.
