I think I speak for men the world over when I say we’re more than happy to leave anything associated with pregnancy to womankind.
For any man that’s champing at the bit to breastfeed a baby, Marie-Claire Springham, a design student in the U.K. claims to have developed a prototype kit that will enable them to do it.
Springham says she was inspired to create the “chestfeeding” kit after finding out that some men experience post-natal depression. I was about to call BS on that but then I remembered we’re talking about the UK where, in another concession to the transgender community, some schools are now teaching that boys can have periods.
I guess if a guy can experience a menstrual cycle, then breastfeeding isn’t that much of a leap after all, is it? Except, the kit comes with a drug called domperidone that isn’t approved for sale in the U.S. due to serious health risks associated with its use.
