CHRC: "Value and respect everyone" -- or else

Ezra LevantRebel Commander

The Canadian Human Rights Commission: It has such a beautiful name, but it doesn't represent Canadian values.

They go around suing people they don't like (including me.)

That's why one of their latest tweets is a bit disturbing:

That sounds good on the surface, but let's talk about how this government agency might enforce this "vision."

The Human Rights Commission doesn't respect everybody.

They only respect people who think like they do.

And in any case, how is enforcing "respect" an appropriate role for government?

READ Shakedown: How Our Government is Undermining Democracy in the Name of Human Rights, Ezra Levant's book about the Canadian Human Rights Commissions. It was voted "the best political book  of the last 25 years."

I remember seeing an older video where Ezra explained in the group investigating him was a high school kid. What possible legal authority could someone with no legal training have? This really needs to be challenged.

Everything the looney left does always sounds comfy: “for the children”, “we’re all equal”, “The parents coalition” and my favourite “we want to feel safe”. It’s well known that the CHRC is a fraud organization set up by frauds and liars. The only people allowed to run them are moochers and takers who can’t survive in the real world, have a tendency to be followers (read trendies) and compensate for their lack of male “essentials” by hiding in a faceless bureaucracy.
I think Ezra should continue to attack these parasites by using humour and satire. They’re too stupid to understand direct criticism.

They have no concept of what rights are. They think rights are granted by authority. Wrong, to be born, is the right of life, and it is the right to sustain that life that is the source of all rights. The rights of the individual to his life, requires freedom to act; the right to act. There are no women, gay, fat, black or handicap rights, only individual rights that are there by birth.

CHRC should be disbanded, think of the money it would save. The Law of Canada should be enough to protect Human Rights, that is assuming that it is Canadian Law and not Sharia’h Law.

When austerity cuts come as the global economy continues to contract, groups like CHRC and the CBC and are going to get slashed back or canceled all together.

Has the constitutionality of HRCs ever been challenged? That’s not a rhetorical question; I’d really like to know. It seems to me that any prosecutorial body that doesn’t offer to the accused the same financial resources as those offered to the accuser, is a denial of due process to the accused, and therefore should be unconstitutional and illegal. That seems like just common sense.

I would never appear in front of a human rights commission: an organization where participants are selected on the basis of race, gender and ethnicity to judge how much absolute rights apply in special cases in accordance with a politically correct agenda that they create. I would accept life in prison before surrendering my freedom to the likes of that! I can’t reconcile wearing the Canadian uniform for over three and a half decades to protect all our freedoms around the world, to squander mine in such a repulsive manner!

I have never had any respect the for so-called Human Rights Commission, and nothing but contempt for the whole lot after reading Ezra’s book ShakeDown.

HRC’s are a lot like a combination of Stalinists and Gay Ayatollahs. They judge and hang you if you aren’t socialists and/or homosexual. Hetro pride week…I am proud to have had children naturally and worked from sixteen to sixty six. let them come for us.

Sadly BC and Alberta and other provinces still have powerful tribunals of their own. Beware those that may hurt the feelings of others. Unless your victims are Christian of course.

So, Canada, how do we go about pulling the CHRC’s fangs?

Respect is earned and not granted/ Must I respect a wife beater or child molester or rapist or murderer or some one the evidence supports as being an idiot? Must I respect the savages who carry out strict Sharia law?

I’m with you, Ezra. I don’t respect this ridiculous commission. Now, let’s translate their vision: An inclusive society where only gays, their allies (and Muslim?) are valued and respected. I don’t know about you all, but I’m SOOOOOOOO tired of all this politically correct nonsense, about being forced to bow to the rainbow god or to the multiculturalism god (I’m a proud new Canadian from a bikini country). You, Ezra, have helped me more than anyone to understand the true Canadian values! (Well, credits to William Gairdner, too). I share all I learn with other immigrants I know. We all want Canada to be Canada. Many of us lived under government oppression and can tell you things like this crazy commission reminds me of the time when the government of my country of origin even chose the songs we could listen to. To sum up, I don’t like it when I’m told what to believe in, what ‘values’ to embrace, who to respect (as Fran Asher said in her comment below, respect is earned) as I don’t expect anyone to believe in what I believe, to embrace the values I embrace and respect me. Actually, I’d be disgusted if anyone respected me just because there is some kind of law or regulation forcing people to respect me and make me feel AWESOME. I deeply dislike being treated with condescending cordiality because I’m an immigrant woman, which doesn’t happen often as I make it clear to everyone around me I’m capable of succeeding in achieving the goals I have set for myself using my own skills – and so far I’ve achieved most of these goals.

Be careful not to respond in disagreement with the CHRC tweet, business is slow and they are trolling for the next group of people to compel to pay fines and respect the actual bigots and haters. When was the last time the CHRC came to the aid of a Christian … or a Jew?

Respect is earned, not given freely nor can it be enforced, no matter how much the politically correct idiots think it can be. People should be judged by their actions, not their words & there is right and wrong behaviour in a civilized country. When civility is destroyed, all is lost, & the politically correct crew are on a mission to do that. At least PM Harper calls it like it is & I am thankful he is our Prime Minister.

Like the CBC, the CHRC is a total waste of taxpayers money and the government has no business funding either of these business’s.

Can anyone say “Dictator”?

This country has gone to the dogs. Harper is the only breath of fresh air . We can’t even get tough on criminals.
