Have you seen the video a BBC station in Scotland made about homophobia in 2018?
The video is called “A Time for Love”, and it documents hate. But not in the way you might think.
The hate and bigotry is from the filmmakers and their sponsors at the UK’s state broadcaster, and is directed toward traditional Catholics.
At one point in the short film, they say the Eucharist - what Catholics believe to be the body and blood of Jesus Christ - tastes like cardboard and smells like hate.
It’s gross and intolerant but it’s free speech all the same.
Could you imagine the UK’s state broadcaster saying that Halal chicken tastes like cardboard and smells like hate?
They’d never be so risqué!
They’re scared so they pick on the low hanging fruit — Christians who will turn the other cheek — and call it edgy and artful.
