It's been a little while since I’ve brought you news on the Vancouver School Board, the firing of the entire slate of elected trustees, and the subsequent news surrounding the bullying of school board staff by some of those now dismissed trustees. But with the NDP set to potentially take power backed by the Green Party soon here in BC, one of their election promises was to re-instate the trustees. Not much of a surprise, if you recall 4 of the dismissed trustee’s belong to the Vision Vancouver municipal political party who are an ideological match with the NDP with their contempt for independent and private schools for instance.

Whistler-Blackcomb picked a fight with The Rebel due to pressure from an anonymous US based lobby group called Sleeping Giants. I’m disappointed that such an iconic part of my life has taken a shot me, my friends and colleagues at the fastest growing media company in Canada but there’s an irony here that you should know about too.
