The Menzoid's climate change theories make as much sense as the “real” ones

David MenziesMission Specialist

An Air Canada jet experienced such severe turbulence earlier this month that it left 35 people injured. So, was it an air pocket? Windshear? Nope. Climate change!

And did you know that climate change is on the verge of turning Toronto into North America’s version of Venice

Yes, we are now at a point where EVERYTHING dire is connected to climate change.

So I'm trying my hand at coming up with my own theories!

They had TVs, air conditioning, and cars back home too, Al. We’re not bringing in people out of mud huts. And using that TV in the Philippines generated a lot more CO2 than the comparable unit run in most Canadian provinces.

…but I don’t imagine their emissions increase when they move to Canada.

MNope. Nota at all. They do not need their homes heated. They won’t want to buy TV and appliances that require more energy to build and run. They won’t want cars to drive. They are quite happy to live like they did in Africa or Afghanistan even though they said they are coming here to have “a better life”. I guess “better life” doesn’t mean acquiring anything that uses energy.

Considering the demographics of our immigrants, you’re taking a doctor out of his luxury flat with the AC blasting…

Amazing how many foreign doctors are crossing into Canada illegally. You’d think with that skill set they could come in legally. There must be no doctors left in the rest of the world.

“That was many years ago…it is even more true NOW….yet nobody….including You nor Gerald Butts seems to get it. "
Toronto implemented a “green roof” program a decade ago specifically to address the “heat island”, and it’s one of the basic tenets of the urban-tree program as well. it’s hardly ignored.

“What will be the global warming footprint of adding another one million equatorial migrants to Toronto…as is the policy intent of the liberal party…”

Arguably, very little. Considering the demographics of our immigrants, you’re taking a doctor out of his luxury flat with the AC blasting (coal-fired power, natch) 24/7/365, and putting him into a house in Brampton (where the AC runs mostly intermittently and seasonally, and is powered by mostly non-emitting sources). You’d have to do some pretty detailed accounting, I think, but I don’t imagine their emissions increase when they move to Canada.

Hell they do not even have to off themselves if all these hypocrites would practice what they preach they could lower emissions that they claim to care about, but they will not do any such thing, especially the politicians and rich celebrities who would produce more carbon than 100’s or even 1000’s of people could make a huge difference by living how they demand us to.

Well if all the progressives and lefties who think the earth is doomed would just commit suicide there would be less chance of a catastrophe.

ANDREW…I am going to make a major concession of acknowledgement to climate science…though not any of the ones YOU have cited….there is indeed a petrochemical bi-product that is undenyably evident as a major factor in global warming…asphalt…now I don’t even need to cite any source for that assertion…it is self evident.

In fact, one of the things I did to reduce my footprint was to get state of the art metal roofing…which even on the hottest day…you can touch with bare skin no problem.

Now let’s consider Toronto for instance…I nearly died of suffocation one summer night there…back in 1970…nothing new in this year’s election platform panic.

And I can remember Marshall Mcluhan (the media IS the message) stating that it made no sense to cover the landscape with rivers of asphalt just so people could get to where the paper files are kept…

That was many years ago…it is even more true NOW….yet nobody….including You nor Gerald Butts seems to get it.

What will be the global warming footprint of adding another one million equatorial migrants to Toronto…as is the policy intent of the liberal party…in their next four year “peopledate”…has there been a gender impact study (and there is lots of case study available ) of the impact on the women of Canada of bringing in men who like to play TARRARUSH GAMEA (particularly at swimming pools where people go to escape the heat)…or “grooming gangs” (pimps).

My roof is leaking. Maybe Ottawa will give me a grant to seal the leak so the rain will go on the lawn where it’s needed.

DOESN’T MATTER. CANADA IS DONE AND TRUDEAU IS GOING NOWHERE IN OCTOBER.

TOLD YOU ALL SO BACK BEFORE THE 2015 ELECTION THAT IF YOU ALL VOTE HIM /THEM IN, WE WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO REMOVE THEM!!
was I wrong??

The greatest cause of climate chance in Canada is the hot air purged from Justin Pierre James Trudeau’s various bodily apertures.

Seen a cloud it was not there before. Climate change.
Turbulence happen.s when I forget to take the garbage out for a week.

If you want a real laugh find a July 2014 issue of Natural Catastrophic magazine.

One article announces that because of global warming mangroves are slowly moving north along the Florida coast. A hundred or so pages later another article claims that because of cooling waters along the Florida coast caused by climate change, the Giant Grouper is in trouble.

Is Canada’s Climate Changing? – Dr. Ross McKitrick (Guest)

Polls show that climate change is at the bottom of peoples list of worries. At least for people who have to scratch out an income, and there is no need for it to be anywhere but at the bottom of the list. Man’s contribution isn’t worth worrying about. Social control folks. Nothing but a tool used by huckster politicians against the populous. Like Climate Barb says, “say it often enough and loud enough and people will believe it”, and that’s what they have done for decades now. They have programmed people to believe a lie.

John Galt etc: According to junkscience.com, methane is irrelevant as a GHG b/c its infrared absorption spectrum overlaps that of water vapour, which, BTW, is a major GHG (if you care about such things), but no one seems to be worried about it, or trying to shut down the hydrologic cycle.”

They don’t totally overlap, although there is inevitably some due to the breadth of absorption peaks in infrared spectra. Methane is responsible for a few percent of forcing, but is also increasing rapidly.

Water can’t be “controlled”, its concentrations are an equilibrium between ocean and air and increases as either warms. It acts mostly as a feedback mechanism, with the notable exception of contrails, positively in some ways (direct absorption) negatively in others (cloud cover, albedo due to increased snow cover in “polar deserts”). It responds to heating from direct influences, rather than causing it.

Funny, that. Anyway, eat all the Tex-Mex you want. Just keep the windows open.

Yep…..climate change is a real thing…..
I ate too much of one of my experimental spicy concoctions yesterday and the extruded methane (and other components) caused the stink-o-meter I recently installed at my abode (to advise me of my gaseous footprint) reared right up (no pun intended) and told me I was part of the cause….not the solution.I promptly told the device that it did not know my ass from my elbow but…..I got censured….by an inanimate, electronic know-nothing…..
It is obvious….the turbulence was created Within the aircraft by numerous disrespectful climate deniers who overindulged in the Tex/Mex fare served in flight and…..the elevated temperature produced by the harmonic flatulence…..simply made the aircraft “hiccup”….altitude-wise.
