In the wake of numerous reports of scary clowns showing up near schools and terrorizing communities, professional clowns are set to protest how their kind have been treated.
According to Fox News, the clown community in Tucson, Arizona organized a “Clown Lives Matter” march Wednesday that’s set to take place Oct. 15.
AZCentral spoke to the organizer of the event, Nikki Sinn, who said this was a 'peaceful walk'. However, the event got bigger than she ever thought it would. “It was just going to be a fun night with a couple of clown buddies,” she said. But as the event was shared on Facebook, more and more people decided to take pat.

“This is a peaceful walk to show clowns are not psycho killers. We want the public to feel safe and not be afraid. So come out, bring the family, meet a clown and get a hug,” her Facebook flier said.
So far, more than 100 people have registered to take part.
