The liberal war for total political correctness continued this week when a magazine run by Ohio State University students published a chart designed to help their peers ascertain which Halloween costumes are "racist."
As you can see, this chart could not be more ridiculous. It asks readers if their costume is politically charged, and if the answer is yes, it encourages them to move forward with it only if it mocks Donald Trump. This shows the attitude of many left-wing college students that anything remotely pro-conservative or anti-progressive is "offensive." Liberals have made their college campuses into "safe spaces" where they won't be triggered by any views that challenge their own, so they want to make sure that nobody even thinks about wearing a costume that mocks their beloved Barack Obama on Halloween!
Things get even more ridiculous when the charts suggests that students do not wear anything that comes from "4Chan or Reddit,” unless it comes from “the wholesome memes Twitter account.” The chart goes on to ask if a costume “validates white supremacists,” and if the answer is yes, the chart asks, “What the f**k is wrong with you? Try again.” Meanwhile, a "no" answer to this question is met with skeptical questions like, “Does it require blackface, milk, or a swastika?” and “Does it humanize inhumane people?” To SJWs, everything is about race these days, so it should come as no surprise that they assume almost any costume a person picks will be racist.
Once again, leftists have completely sucked the fun out of a holiday that is meant to be light-hearted. Halloween is a time when people are supposed to forget their troubles and put on a silly costume, yet liberals have turned it into a stressful event in which nearly every costume can be dubbed "offensive" in some way. This year, it seems that Halloween parties will be like minefields on college campuses, with students getting triggered left and right by the simplest of costumes.
