Conrad Black: Trump has a tremendous feel for the public

Kurt SchlichterHost of Take That

On this week's episode of Take That, author and historian Conrad Black joined me to discuss his new book “Donald Trump: A President Like No Other” and the President's ability to connect with the American public.

Because his education and background working in real estate, Trump is uniquely capable of communicating to blue-collar Americans and the wealthy elites. He may not be a Lincoln or Reagan but Trump is a much better communicator than Jimmy Carter or the Bushs.

WATCH our interview to see why Lord Black thinks Trump is only getting better as Americans get more used to him as President.

He does indeed, and has demonstrated that ability hundreds of times… The point being, for a “rich boy” from leftie New York, his life’s experiences demonstrate that he has learned to communicate with the majority of Americans in “fly over country”, and that he doesn’t kowtow to the media on either the West Coast or the East Coast… Much tot their dismay of course…

That’s because Donald Trump actually likes people. He’s not trying to ‘get’ only for himself, so he talks to people like they are his equals, and he’s their equal.
He genuinely loves his country. Plus, he’s not afraid of anyone.

Conrad Black, always a great interview. Excellent, well spoken, educated and informed speaker. Accurate, true assessment of Trump, it will drive the Left WingNuts into a frenzy.
