CPC caves to pressure from “extremists” in Sikh Canadian community

Sheila Gunn ReidRebel Host | The Gunn Show

The Conservative Party of Canada caved to pressure from Khalistan supporters and removed their motion that stood with a united India.

After Trudeau's circus in India – a junket that saw more costume changes than a Cher concert and a Khalistani would-be assassin as a dinner party guest, the Conservatives wanted to bring forward a motion to distinguish themselves from the soft-on-terror Liberals.

As late as Wednesday evening, they planned to bring forward a motion that asked the House of Commons to:

A) value the contributions of Canadian Sikhs and Canadians of Indian origin in our national life;

That b) condemn in the strongest terms all forms of terrorism including Khalistani extremism in the glorification of any individuals who have committed acts of violence to advance the cause of an independent Khalistani state in India; and

c) stand with United India.

The motion renounced political violence and affirmed the valuable contributions of Indo-Canadians.

A real no-brainer.

But by Thursday morning, Conservatives snatched defeat from the jaws of terror the way they always do.

Watch as I show you why they caved.

Conservative party leader Andrew Scheer is doing exactly what Trudeau is doing. He's courting extremists for votes and he's insulting normal conservatives along the way.

I like Andrew Scheer, and want him to do well but he needs to do more than that. He must be the strong principled adult foil to the SJW adolescent kook we have in the PM’s office right now.

So let's do what the extremists have done. Apply pressure to this wound.

Conservatives, call your MPs. Email Andrew Scheer, and CPC house leader Candice Bergen. Email Deputy CPC leader Chris Warkentin. And share this video.

Personally I could care less about India.

These Liberals never learn. Keep it up and soon we may see the Sikh version of the Asian “hijab hoax” protesters. And Scheer will end up with just as much egg on his face as the Liberals.
Seriously, when I see a guy with a beard and a turban, do I automatically jump to the conclusion that he must be a terrorist? Hell no, I don’t even automatically jump to the conclusion that he must be a Sikh!

Canada cannot afford to dumb herself down any further than this…

OMG – Scheer has to go!!!! Never mind writing Scheer, write to the party members and demand he be removed, on any excuse they can muster. We don’t care, just get rid of him!!!

Just came across this very interesting article. Statistics Canada data reveals that direct investment in Canada plunged 26% in 2017, and now stands at $33.8 billion.
“This foreign investment collapse is an indictment of Justin Trudeau’s economic policies, which have put carbon taxes, regulations, and virtue-signalling ahead of empowering our economy to succeed.”

Why would I be scared – nothing has changed in my life since the 80’s beyond modern technology and society.

I didn’t view multiculturalism as an evil then in the 80’s and I don’t now – I AM CANADIAN! I have nothing to complain about. I am doing well financially, my experiences with health care have been great and I have a happy life in Canada.

Perhaps you need to get out of Alberta if your life sucks to the point that all you can do complain everyday on here.

Won’t that be lovely. The only good thing about the country literally going to the dogs, is that eventually guys like you Vinny are going to be scared. I want to see that.

Looks like it’s a win/win for Liberals in 2019.

LOL.

WTF I thought I had him figured as another Teddy, “Speak softly, but carry a big stick”. Well I was wrong, this is more like a squeek and a scurry. What we have in Sheer is a little bitch that runs away with his tail between his legs whenever it gets to hot. I swear, if it wasn’t for the issues of freedoms in this country, I would stay home and not vote.

Derek, very interesting post.
There is something quite unusual about this decision to scrap the motion. It warrants a closer look.

…good point Derek. It takes the heat off of Justin, temporarily at least. What kind of circus is running out country?

Who is this Sikh activist? How representative is he/she of the Sikh community?
To me this looks like set up by the liberals to tied the conservatives into knots. Something that Butts would no doubt be behind. The liberals are in panic mode and they need to deflect away from the trouble they caused in India and especially in the eyes of our Sikh Canadians.
Scheer needs a backbone transplant.

I guess Canadians are going to have to push for proper investigations to be done to root out and remove these extremists. It is time for Sikhs for a united India to put more pressure on government than the Khalistani supporters are doing. Also to demand Canada apologize to Modi.
We need an investigation and FULL disclosure of who and what is behind the Atwal invite and conspiracy theory that it was India’s doing. Canada’s reputation is being irrevocably damaged around the world with these actions.
We all deserve the truth.

he’s got no balls a spineless jellyfish ,Not my party anymore till they get someone with some guts and backbone

He’s definitely a liberal plant! That constant smile is mocking real conservatives while he fills his bank account, and pretends to be the official opposition leader. Shame on him. The conservative party is dust in the wind. They are constantly asking for money and I just shred their letters, and I don’t pick up the phone for the constant requests to fill their coffers. He’s not a leader, he’s a follower!
commented 2018-03-01 20:03:22 -0500
This is beyond bungling.
commented 2018-03-01 20:00:43 -0500
Scheer—a conservative marshmellow.
commented 2018-03-01 19:58:44 -0500
What the hell is wrong with Scheer! Is he being paid, is someone holding a gun to his head? Doesn’t make much of a threat to send Andrew running. Pathetic. No moral compass. No strength of conviction.

This is what you get when Multiculturalism runs away from you. You get foreign entities influencing our politicians. Scheer will pay dearly for this. We had better start figuring out how to clean out our own corrupt swamp. Damn Scheer all to hell.

Assholes, can’t they tell the difference between respectable Sikh’s and Khalistani terrorists, What an insult to the Sikh community! Unbelievable.

So where does that leave us with Modi? He’s not going to forget this one.

Something has to give soon. Something is going to break.

The good news is that Junior’s claim to be a popular international sensation has been shattered. The bad news is that Smilin’ Andy Scheer lacks the moral conviction to follow through on the issue of the damage the Boy Blunder has done to our relations with India.

Backing down is weak, the motion is not! I e-mailed a dozen MP’s in addition to Sheila’s request.

Excellent question Bravo, money talks as they say and it would explain a number of inconsistencies.
commented 2018-03-01 19:38:58 -0500
no he’s not he was a reform party guy but he should not have backed down
commented 2018-03-01 19:34:33 -0500
The CPC think they can play the electric for suckers as usual. I told that member of ours the other day that he’s nothing but a hypocrite, and would never vote for their party again. He sent out a mailer that asked, do you agree with Trudeau’s carbon tax. That after they voted for the Paris accord. What the hell do think it’s about. Under their clown leader Scheer, they won’t even have anything to run on, that matters.
commented 2018-03-01 19:25:21 -0500
Scheer – a liberal plant in my opinion and not much more. A truly weak individual – he will not be able to defeat the turdo – which is all part of the plan.

I wonder how he is doing financially? I wonder if there is some cash going to his bank account or a trust fund?
